It looks like CoroCoro is releasing their own limited version of the Awakened Wild Liger~ It's a shame this is a limited, as if it were the actual DX/Awakened (Assuming these are the same?) it'd be so much more tempting to buy.

Well, this took me far, far too long, but at last... episode 7 subs! YT version / TV version(EDIT: If you want the gag subs for some reason, they're now here/ here.) And yes, CoroCoro is indeed giving 100 people an Awakened Wild Liger Guren ("crimson lotus"/"bright red") Ver. via a scratchie+lucky draw system. Unlike the Silver Lion Ver., which was just an ordinary Wild Liger with stickers, this one is an Awakened/DX Wild Liger with the blue parts replaced with translucent red. We haven't seen the last of the limited sticker sheets, though - judging from the background of this event photo (which has since suspiciously disappeared from the original site), TT plans to give out special Grachiosaurus and Death Rex caps and stickers to those who buy more than 3000 yen worth of Zoids Wild products, starting in mid-November. They've also revealed that the next ending song for the anime will be "blue moon" by Shoko Nakagawa (to be released on the 28th of November), and there's another Twitter campaign running where people have to post specific hashtags before and during each episode. Episode 10's prizes were 5 Grachiosauruses and 50 of the event-exclusive wristbands, Episode 11's were 10 signed Wild Blue albums and signed voice actor posters (5 of Arashi's actor Kenshou Ono, 5 of Penne's actor Mikako Komatsu), Episode 12's will be 6 signed shikishis (3 signed by Kenshou Ono, 3 by Mikako Komatsu) plus one Zoid kit of the winner's choice with each shikishi, and Episode 13's will be 10 signed alarm clocks (again, 5 by Kenshou Ono and 5 by Mikako Komatsu), although the alarm clocks will only be given out if they get more than 1000 tweets with the #ゾイドワイルド見てるぜ ("I'm watching Zoids Wild") hashtag. And happy ITLAPD!

That red Liger looks great! Also I found this image of a custom Grachiosaurus (sorry if it's been posted already):
Wish I knew more info-- who made it, were there other Zoids customs shown too, even a better photo would be nice.

Thanks as always for the Subs Falcarius. I'm also happy to hear it sounds like episodes will keep on airing well after the end of November if they are to introduce a new ending song then. Thinking of Zoids Genesis where the ending changed three times throughout the series.
Ah so that explains why so many people were using that hashtag. I feel like using it myself just to contribute to the 1000, knowing I would be invalid though being overseas.

So... ...is a proper sub coming out at some point? Because I found this incredibly unamusing, given how long it's been since ep 6, though I hate to come across as ungrateful. --- It was a while back, but did anyone else catch how... remarkably familiar a certain pair of characters looked?

Thanks so much for the subs! This is one of the better episodes IMO. Hmm. I wonder if there will be any 'easy' options for international members on those new stickers/caps. It was nice being able to pick them up through AmiAmi, but given AmiAmi hasn't carried Zoids Wild since the Grachio... Hopefully everyone can achieve the 1k goal!
Official subs probably hinge on if TT reaches its goal of an overseas release. This was whispered about in the initial press conference but it's far from a guarantee, and if we don't see an international release, we probably won't get subs at all. None of the other Zoids series got them even when they got their Blu-ray release and there's no announcement or plans of doing official subs (assuming that's what you mean by proper.) Hopefully someday we'll get to see it air in overseas countries with an accompanied BD/DVD release.
In the mean time I'm quite happy to have Falcarius' subs. They may take some time, but that's perfectly fair given he's translating virtually everything related to the series, including but not including providing information on campaigns, giveaways, news, translating and formatting the subs, translating the manga from corocoro, etc. It's a lot of free labor for someone that presumably still needs to eat~

Oh, I'm glad for Falc's subs, too. I've been enjoying the show, thanks to him. By proper I meant 'normal'; a jokey "lets make everything sound like piratespeak because of an internet holiday" gag script is not my cup of tea (and because ep7 came out so slow and a normal script isn't immediately available, the joke itself comes across probably more antagonistic than intended. A bit more like trolling than just being a gag.)
By which I mean had subs been coming out as episodes aired, with episode 11 being the one with the gag script (as it's the most recent), the sense that viewers are being trolled wouldn't be as present.
But I digress; this is just the way I'm experiencing things, and the way I feel about a given thing isn't the same as the way someone else might. Keep up the good work, Falcarius, it is appreciated.

Ah, my bad then. I didn't realize there were gag subs (was already watching something at the time) so it just looked like random borking at the wait time. Still, just all in good fun, and I'm sure he wasn't trying to tick people off.

Yeah, I was kinda worried how people would react to this after such a long break. I did include a little reassuring message just before the end credits, but I probably should have put it somewhere where people wouldn't have to sit through an entire episode of pirate-speak to find it. Anyway, I've replaced the subs with the normal versions - now I just have to hope the big anime sites will post the right version... (And yes, the R.A.P. Squad are based on the Time Skeletons, as are Team Rocket and various other anime trios.) dchan, that's the Grachio Gigant Buster that was shown at the Christmas Toy Trade Fair along with a couple of other customs (the Hell Cannon Raptor and Long Range Gannontoise photos have since been deleted from that site, probably because of the info visible in the background).

no worries, Falcarius. I get a bit twitchy at stupid stuff sometimes so I'm not sure it'll be as big a deal for anyone else.
I was specifically calling out the similarity to the Team Rocket duo that 2/3rds of the RAP squad had going on.

Thanks Falcarius for the subs! I do have to say that the anime is getting a bit more interesting (episode 12 was much rougher than previous episodes, with someone ending up in Gabrigator, the villains being more evil than expected, althought they do switch from evil to ridiculous most of the time) And next episode Death Rex... That should be good
Falcarius, you'll be having a lot of work on episode 10... A lot of singing, some frantic scenes with a lot of text and much more psychedelic stuff
Oh and some cool stuff
And this dude on twitter has a Death Rex!!! He used it for that first pic, as he customized it in some other pics on his account) But how does he allready have one?! I want at least 2 but it's not December yet..

The realistic style image is by professional cosplay group Animareal, who did all of the photo realistic images for the app Zoids: Field of Rebellion. In celebration of the Death Rex appearing next episode, they collaborated with AnimaReal again to create the nice Death Rex image! He has a Death Rex because he's collaborating with the official company. After the release of the image he was permitted to show off the build details.
Greatly enjoyed the recent episode! My favorite yet, I think. Also liking Gallagher more as a character now that we see him actually fighting. Though, let's just say next episode shall get even more interesting~

Finally got around to watching episode 7 with subs, I had to check out the Pirate subs and I must say I had a good laugh at it, particularly near the start. "Are ye after some grog? Not likely. Coincidentally I posted this to twitter saturday night
Must say I laughed out loud when I read an anime site posted the subs. Like what have you unleashed into the world! Comes to show though they don't actually bother to watch it for themselves before putting it up.
As for Death Rex. Really looking forward to the next episode
