So I'm looking to maybe articulate my Gairyuki, but while the hip and shoulder area is relatively straightforward, the ankle (and really all the lower leg) consist of two pieces that kinda slide past each other, and I'm not sure how to approach adding in the Bionicle joint. I wasn't sure if anyone had had any experience jointing their Fury/Gairyuki and has an idea here?

That ankle is similar to the one on Deathraser, if I'm not mistaken. When I made my Celestis Tenebris I modded one (well, a Deaclto, same beastie) and I basically had to choose which of the paired ankle posts I would joint and which one I would tack for detail.

You have any good shots of how you did that? I have some ideas of how to get part of a Bionicle arm in there and then put the socket in the foot, but the thinness of the posts makes contacts for the part dubious at best. This is what I'm working withPart of me is considering just removing the piston and replace it with this, then glue the two pieces together and remove the hoop at the end of the other post.

I'll see if I have any shots, but what I essentially did was cut off the ring on the main portion and attached my joint there. Then I swung the piston forward and glued it in place to give it a bit of aesthetic completeness and strength. Purely for looks, I cut a plastic pin and threaded it through the piston ring and placed rubber caps on either side.
