So this is one I've been working on for a long while, but not as original as the Dark Prawn. My first time making a Zoid poseable, this is actually part of series of customs (read: this one, a Liger Zero I want alternate colored optics on, a Gairyuki with different weapons, and a recolored Murasame Liger) I'm doing based off the final Zoids of the main team in my fic (that I still need to finish chapter 1 of, but the prologue is done). This Whitz Wolf belongs to Skye O'Malley, the team mechanic.
Lore:
Fenrir is Skye O'Malley's Whitz Wolf, purchased for her by her teammates after her first Zoid is destroyed.God man, spoilers! With her skills as a mechanic, she's tuned up his Ion Booster Array to increase his top speed to 350 kph, falling short of only Luc's Zero Jager and Kat's Hayate Liger in terms of raw speed and agility. With dual six-shot missile pods, Fenrir boasts a little more firepower than the standard Whitz Wolf, but his armor is just as thin, making him the most fragile Zoid in Stormbringer's roster. All that said, he becomes a valuable beat in the team's strategy.
Pilot: Skye O'Malley
Team: Stormbringer
(This one was taken before the missile pods came in)
I do want to get my hands on an extra HMM Zoid core and rig up some internals with Bionicle tubes since the inside of the torso is now hollow without the battery and motor (and the battery hatch still opens).
His right rear leg's hip joint is a little loose, so I need to find a way to tighten it up. I had made him poseable with Bionicle joints since the motor didn't work (even MIB), but I wasn't going to complain much for a $30 Whitz Wolf.
The missile pods are Kotobukiya's Modeling Support Goods Weapon Unit 36: Radome and Missile Pod. I used Tamiya's Racing Green on the wolf's armor, with their Chrome Silver for the paws teeth, and guns. The missiles were painted with Testors' Gloss Dark Red, and then everything was clear coated with Tamiya's Gloss Pearl Clear.
I'm very impressed with how this guy came out especially for a first time making a Zoid poseable. I had been very hesitant to take the dremmel to him, but my use of it to open fossil jackets at the museum helped me get over that fear. If I could use one on plaster/burlap jackets with priceless fossils inside, I could take one to a plastic model kit, lol.
EDIT:I just had to photoshop that last image to something more fitting of a Wolf
