Must be a real good Feeling to bring a zoid to life that is that great and individual! I love the combination of Colors and design too. As i like to build zoids and get behind the technics i wonder how many King G is in that zoid, and can he still walk? How did you get the tail like that, as the tail from the king is more up?
Thanks and congrats on this incredible work,
Cougan

Amazing. Every time you post a custom, it delivers. Will change my holy grail to a Maethius custom. Btw, any chance on a high resolution wallpaper?

Dano- Thank you! ^_^ Cougan- There is a feeling of relief and euphoria when a piece like this is completed. It rivals the sadness and regret of placing it in bubble wrap and saying goodbye. For the build itself, the main body is comprised of 90% King Gojulas, 10% Gojulas Giga. I used 12 Zoid kits and 28 other part sources to build it. His motor was removed and an articulated spine was built in its place, so he cannot walk, but he CAN stand on one foot. ^_^ I cut out all of the hinge joints from the tail and replaced them with ball-and-socket. Here is a link to the build page so you can see all the steps I took to create it: Supreme King Gojulas build page!gordosevolves- Thank you! /silently bowing ericmd- Thank you very much, I appreciate it! My next project is a set of 6 much smaller customs; I hope they can produce the same kind of impact! I've thought of making high-rez wallpaper of them, actually. For now, I just have the "action shot" that I include on each of my build pages.

gordosevolves- Thank you, sir! As my style and skills evolve, I think I will end up going back and re-working some of my simpler stuff. ^_^ darksoul- Kaiserin still mesmerizes me, too! I'm glad you like the build pages! I could probably get done and present a custom in far less time if I didn't do them, but it feels like I would be short-changing the community. I would like to think that the in progress shots might spark some more custom builders into taking a stab (cut, grind, sand, glue, etc.) at doing something new! And, yes, I have some definite plans for a serious DS upgrade.

Ah i see ist awesome what you did! The building process and your perfect documentation is such fun to look at and get through some of your fantastic building steps.
Also like the comparison, as the design you gave this zoid is that good i never knew this beast is that big! Also inspiring to customize i Little for myself.

Fantastic. The chest piece and the upright posture give me a "Pacific Rim" vibe, both as a Kaiju and as one of the mechs. There's nothing for me to say that others haven't said, so just know that I'm blown away by yet another Maethius custom.
The only criticism I have is that the seam on the nose really sticks out. I think you should patch that baby up before giving it to whoever commissioned it.
Also, can we get a picture of Supreme King Gojulas next to your Gilvadar custom and the Fusilade? I'd love to see the titans lined up next to each other. Actually, for that matter, would it be possible to see the room where you store all these customs?

cougan- I'm glad you like the build pages so much! I try to put some effort into showing the steps I go through because it may help someone spark some ideas for themselves, but also because it is a good record for me. It doesn't hurt to show a client that you are putting in a ton of work, too!
Epyon- Thanks, sir! I can't say that Pacific Rim didn't have an impact on the designs (let's face it, robots and kaiju both got quite a publicity boost from that film. I do see what you mean about the seem on the nose, but unfortunately he's already in the home of the new owner. It really is one of those details that seems to jump out in photos but isn't that apparent in person (kind of like dust or scratches that look like your model is falling apart!)
The closest I can get to photos of the SKG alongside my other customs are using Photoshop, unfortunatly, as he shipped out already. I really wanted to have Gil Kaiserin appear beside him, too! At this point I don't have the room to display these monsters, so perhaps they are fortunate to head for new homes after photography. ^_^

Wait, so you have none of your beasts left in your possession? That must mean that all of them are commissions, then!

Every time I see one of your customs I think there's no way to top it, but each one is more impressive than the last! I had no idea you had build pages for these and I always wondered how you accomplish these builds- I think I'll spend the next few days looking through those! XP Amazing to see the process.

CISsuperdroid- Everything from Wolvereaver on has been a commission, but most of my collection is in storage at the moment. When I get a little time, I am planning on going back through my old stuff and refitting them to bring them up to my current standards. ^_^
Light- I'm glad you like them! My site has a lot of really old stuff on it (I should note when things were created, since I just kind of leave you guessing!) I hope you like reading about cutting plastic and lots of glue!
