I think we need to sort out our lingo for the weapons first because I'm getting confuzzled. I thought you were referring to brown gats as silver gats making them the same thing. But now I think you were referring the laser machine gun (just looked up the kanji) which I was stupidly calling the razor gun haha.
Anyway regardless, so Brown Gats at ex 99 are range 6, 93 damage Black gats at ex 48 are range 6, 101 damage so when it gets to 99 I imagine it'll be scary. and laser machine gun at ex 99 is range 10, damage 93.
I didn't know that about the repair kit! Is that just the K wuf or any zoid?? If it is any zoid I am very embarrassed I did not know that. how long have I been playing this game for, what the hell. Now it makes sense why I have seen Blade ligers say they have healing and I'm thinking like what no you don't... Yea lol I noticed the supporter buff especially when a k wuf walks away and my health goes down like noo come back!
So didn't know that about the red circle either I'm learning a lot here too late.
I noticed the repair unit when equipped on k wuf aint so great anyway, it really needs it's own special repair unit like the molga. And it needs a special weapon where it gets to use the goggles! They are just like sitting there I want to see them be used!
Oh and one more thing notice at the end of the match I was mentioning earlier all these little notices pop up at the top. I realise now they are notificatons of the players disconnecting (newly added feature) or me just losing connection with them or something therefore disappearing away from end of match photo opportunities. Good thing you weren't one of them!

Ah yeah, I was a bit confused. The silver ones like you see on Saber Tiger's shoulders are what I'm referring to as the longer range one (range: 10.) But the shorter range ones having a decent amount more damage makes them a force to be reckoned with, if you can actually catch up to the Zoid.
It's for all Zoids~ To tell you the truth, I didn't realize it until a couple weeks ago myself, haha. I noticed the circle showing up when I was ending battles. Always noticed I'd randomly get major health boosts, but didn't recall seeing anyone using Jim (healing pilot), so I always wondered, what the heck is going on? It's definitely useful.
For the K Wuf, I think its time to shine is when traveling in a pack, so other Zoids can handle the fighting and it just heals. Or when enemies are run off for a moment, it can heal its allies up before they get back. The medium repair unit is definitely pretty inadequate nowadays though, since it was never buffed after the level 50 change. Would love a headgear weapon, though. I still think there are so many applications, like seeing enemies in the forest, etc.
Yeah, I noticed that too. The notifications were added a week or so ago. It's nice, but also kinda scary. Makes everyone on the enemy team well aware that you're suddenly weaker if someone disconnects. I get the notice spam at the end of each battle, too. Most of the Zoids, and sadly your Saber, in my case~

Wow this new knowledge changes things so much, now I'm deliberately running up to someone with damage first before healing. Though often with Saber I'm lucky to get past the first 30 seconds before all 3 are used haha. He takes a beating at the start of every match, as it's that crucial first minute which can decide a match. If successful can prevent or severely postpone the destruction of our bases.
Travelling in a pack sounds very suitable for K wuf, I'd love to see an entire K wuf pack actually, all boosting each others health. It'll have to happen one day!
Agree with the forest idea, a nice long range weapon using the headgear which can lock on to players in the bush would be fantastic!

Although I'm sad not to see a player Zoid, the Ogre looks scary, and furthermore, there was a much more important update this month.
Upgraded Zoids now retain their level. This means that you no longer have to set a Zoid on the backburner, and consider it useless until it can be upgraded completely. You can level those Zoids up to fighting strength right away, and take them into combat as is.
This is a huge relief, as the level 50 update rendered most Zoids useless. It was such a monumental amount of metal that even if you had the metal on hand, you didn't want to use it if the Zoid wasn't at Upgrade II already. They also sent out a large sum of metal to everyone who had upgraded Zoids. The amount depended on how many upgraded Zoids you had, and at what stage they were at, etc.
Now my dozen or so Zoids that I've missed so dearly, are able to be used effectively. Since I upgraded a lot of Zoids, I received 255,000 metal. Immediately took Berserk Furher up to level 50. Also took Gordos up to 46-ish and Shield Liger up to 48-ish. All around this is a very lovely update and I'm so happy about it. Even without the metal, it's wonderful feeling free to use my Zoids.
On the Ogre side of things, those attacks look frightening. Unlike other large Zoids, there's no time at all to get away from that cannon attack. You'll have to be careful. The minor damage from the missiles is going to be an annoyance, but thankfully they don't have knockdown. I wonder how low its HP/DEF is in comparison? Still wish we could see large Zoid stats.
Also looks like there's a percentage chart for items in gacha containers? But I haven't checked it out.

That's certainly not the only change in this update, though...
New Large Zoid: Gojulas The Ogre New subpilot: Catalina Thales (Winter Clothes Ver.) [doesn't unlock Catalina's missions/story and doesn't have any of her own, but does have slightly better skills: Full Burst "Eyes Which Don't Fear Despair" (increases your team's maximum EN and anti-base AT) and Passive Skill "Don't Follow Me Around" (increases your Zoid's maximum EN and anti-base AT)] New missions: Between 31/1 and 14/2, log in for 4000 Metal each day, and play 1 battle in VS mode each day for 2 Repair Kits, 1 Memory Chip or 1 Memory Bank [rewards cycle between Kits -> Chips -> Banks, upgrade items are given in the order A -> S -> D -> E -> N] Current map: random chance of forest or city (until 14/2) Gameplay changes: - Weapon lineup in Gacha and Drop Containers has been changed (not sure how) - Rare Container drop rate in VS Mode has been increased - Purple Containers are now guaranteed to contain an R or SR item - Super Containers are now guaranteed to contain an SR item - Your bases now take less damage as your total base HP decreases - Levels are now carried over when upgrading Zoids, rather than being reset

I could be wrong, but I think the lineup removed items from certain containers? Please correct me if I'm wrong. That would mean the generally useless weapons, the Shieldy gun, Diablo, E-Shield (BF), Shock Cannons, Missile Pods, and Vulcan Damage (large) SRs were removed from paid Gacha containers. Whereas a lot of the nice weapons are removed from VS mode/Co-op drop containers. Pulse Cannon, Hellblazer, Dual Sniper Rifle, Double Buster Cannons, etc.
I hope this isn't the case. I could be misreading it entirely. If that's the case though, it certainly means many good weapons are now Gold/cash only, until they become too boring. It'd suck for those who want containers for more than EX levels... I suspect this change is in response to the spamming of Co-op mode after the 6 minute change. It's a bitter feeling after all the trouble from adding the K Wuf, to now have no chance of getting its weapons. The odds would ask about $500 for a chance at the Electric Fanger, and odds don't work that way. Without it he's useless, outpaced heavily by Gordos in functionality, with no real advantage.

Gojulas the Ogre certainly looks exciting, wonder if the missiles still come for those attacking from the rear, being best spot to take down a normal Gojulas, if so like Bloody Deathy will just have to keep our distance. No subjugation event yet again for practice. Maybe they figure it takes numbers away from the Battle mode.
Absolutely extremely happy they changed it so zoids don't lose their levels when upgrading! I was thinking it will take forever to get all my zoids up to even a playable level, finally I can dig some of them out of the shed. Change was made a bit late though for some of my zoids which I done just the first upgrade for, even the large amount of metal they gave out wont get back those levels, *looking at Liger zero*. wow what a relief, This will make K wufs missions easier to do now I can get it straight to level 50.
Did you say Falcarius the bases HP have been decreased?? Whyyyyy on earth would they do such a thing, they already fall in under the first minute for a lot of matches. I've been saying for a while hey need to INCREASE the HP!

No no, the bases now have more 'effective' HP. As they get lower on HP, they start to gain a defense attribute against enemy weapons. So if it is down in the red, it may take more shots to do the same amount of damage to the base. Since the change, quite a few battles have had the bases survive past the 2 minute mark. At least one of them. I've also won 3 battles by defending the base when the enemy destroyers, far more powerful than us, were more focused on steamrolling our Zoids.
Been taking some other Zoids out for a spin. I think Shield Liger and Berserk Furher may still wait until I get more memory banks, since their cost really makes it hard to use them. The BF can't afford to use any side-mounted weapon besides a gat or red missile, but neither are that effective long-term in battle. Especially since the gats fight with his CPC for energy. The Shield Liger has the same problem, but I'd like to defend myself with more than that.
Gordos on the other hand, is overwhelmingly successful. It has a better win rate than my Liger Zero so far! And I did like 10 matches with it. Only lost twice. Likely in part thanks to luck, but being able to constantly fire off weapons is a huge plus. It makes me feel a little more sorry for K Wuf, since its much higher attack is outpaced by a waaay higher DPS for Gordos. I don't have the weight to carry a good back weapon yet (still only Upgrade 1) but even with a rifle, I think the cooldown would be faster than I could fire it! Might rely on this guy for my gold battles~
Speaking of, are the gold battles long term? I thought they were going to end with maintenance.

Ah, got it excuse my misunderstanding, good to hear that's the case with the bases. I have noticed more matches end with one still standing. And they do seem a little bit tougher to take down, was about time they done something. I can understand the pain of the other team steam rolling your zoids, I was in that situation last night, I was using Saber tiger with Iron fin, Black gatling (had only just equipped) and therefore just the one 35mm for the bases, so what did the matching server do? Match me with another Iron fin saber, a destroyer equipped Saix and a destroyer equipped blade liger, like half way through we were like who's going for the bases? Saber was spamming attack the bases and it's Like i'm trying to pick at them one bullet at a time whilst attacking players. We somehow managed to get two bases down, had plenty more kills but just couldn't get that last base down unfortunately. I remember with BF I think I always just had the cpc, back mounted weapon of choice and a bullet using gatling. Got me through the missions anyway. Have you upgraded BF yet? I took mine to the first upgrade and cost went to 16 which helps a bit, Actually I upgraded BF,Genobreaker and Genosaurer at once which makes like the 6th zoid to get an upgrade to the first level since the update and now finally have not got enough A chips for Shadow fox which I was going to do next. But looking at the daily missions more chips are on the way for playing a battle each day. Nooo idea what's going on with the Gold rewards there sorry, certainly enjoying it whilst it's there!
I really should dig the Gordos out again, it had been sitting there dormant because I didn't want to spend metal on it and still have the missions to do, but now the changes have taken place I will invest in it to take it out again, it's the only zoid with Awesome side mounted weapons, funny we were talking about that the other day. Cost is a bit of an issue though, it's like would I equip the two awesome long range side mounted weapons and just have enough for a cost 1 extra health unit, hoping no one runs up to me expecting a heal, or Repair unit with one awesome side mounted weapon and dual tactical missiles seeing as they are the only worthy back mounted weapon with a cost of 5. Not sure if the dual tacticals damage bases though.. Once upgraded fully with extra cost Gordos would become a fantastic machine. It seems to be the number one zoid of choice for Vanossa on twitter up in the 7 thousands, he used to be loyal to gorillas and a black saber tiger.
Hopefully your beloved K wuf will become more useful with that final upgrade! It has the factor of cute.

Looking back at Falcarius' post, I don't see an end date on the gold. Maybe it's there to stay? That'd be nice. I tend to battle a decent amount each day, but now it's motivation.
Shame about the base. That happens far too often now, so I've started going for bases first, even as a destroyer, unless they're obviously taking them down faster. Then gotta go mess with that. It's fearful being the only destroyer out there harassing them, though! Matching can also be hit or miss. It's just mean to match a team against 3-4 Liger Zeroes. It happens a lot. Though I don't think it takes Zoids into account either way.
Yeah, BF is the second upgrade, but still not quite enough space for a 35mm. I might try the black gats, as at least then they wouldn't fight with the particle cannon. Nice! That's a lot of Zoids to upgrade in one go~ Who you going to level up first?
For Gordos, both side mounted weapons over health every time. It's nice to have the buffed heal, but it's only 100 HP more than the medium repair unit, and with everything lvl 50 at our league, it's frankly a bit inconsequential. I use it, but only really bother when things are calm and we have a minute. Using it in a combat situation, unless you're healing multiple Zoids, doesn't usually pan out. Then you're just a sitting duck, and even level 47-ish it doesn't have much durability, so it goes down fast. I did see one guy with the back mounted red weapon. Made me laugh, but won't lie, he was a huge help in the forest arena. Wouldn't be so much in Urban, but still.
From what I understand, shelling/missiles do base damage, and EN/Red/Gatling style weapons don't.
It does! Same reason I want to upgrade Zeek Dober. I love their little toe design. So many doggies. So little funds.

When in Saber Tiger, Blade Liger, and maybe carefully with Lightning saix I'll go annoy the enemy team destroying bases. I would say Liger zero too but the poor thing is stuck in the low levels, wish I had waited for the last update before upgrading that's for sure. Noo Idea which dino I'd level up first , gotta pay shield liger some attention first and other zoids sitting in the 40's where every single level up uses a painful amount of metal. Slowly slowly will get there. Maybe Genosaurer though, that pulse four weapon is the latest craze and really really hurts. Good point with the Gordos, It was the answer deep down I wanted to hear. lol Looks like they are in the middle of an emergency update, wonder what it is they are fixing..
Speaking of problems though I was stuck on the Enemy Bloody deathsaurer screen for the entirety of it's life walking across the field! it was more like a still image of it with players running around it. Not sure if I were the only one affected or what but they seemed not to be. Otherwise I imagine Bloody deathy would have taken out our HQ. A player also disappeared inside the base and the only remnants of their existance was a Full burst bubble where they used to be. Add that to the fact our large zoid was never set up and well, it was a truly doomed match. Horrible Although the accomodation where I am currently staying has equally horrible internet reception, I could still play but there was lag, I wonder if it had anything to do with the problems in the doomed match. Regardless don't think I'll be playing anywhere near as much this week until I return home. Maybe just a match or two to get the Daily mission reward.

Yeah, I imagine anyone who upgraded recently is feeling the anguish. Shieldy isn't a bad option either. The Pulse Four is most useful when everything is in a group, not entirely because it can target them all, but because when it does, it usually does some serious damage to whatever poor Zoid is up in front, since it'll likely take 2-3 hits at a time.
Thats been a glitch thats been around for a while. I used to get it like crazy on the large zoid Co-op battles. Only effects some people in the fight, but you can still navigate clumsily by the mini map. Rely on your auto lock if enemies are near (or just run back to HQ). Firing at bases is hard, but run away from them, then get into the lane and run towards them so at least you have a concrete idea of what way you're facing. It usually goes away at the next cut scene.
Looks like it was over a crashing problem for iOS users. 5 free repair kits as compensation. Won't say no to that~
It's possible for the lag. The guy stuck at base was probably on his end. I wonder if he was stuck in retry limbo? I had an enemy that kept respawning over and over the other day. Got the impression he was just having a hell of a time even staying in the fight.
A great way to test your internet is Co-Op mode. Even in Multiplayer, if you disconnect or can't play, it's nothing more than a minor annoyance as 3, even just 2 Zoids can complete the battle on their own. You also still get lots of containers, for that precious metal you need~
Side question. Is the Transfer Account thing gone for anyone else? Or did I simply generate too many codes this month? (was generating a code while making changes to my tablet)

True that I've been a victim of being hit my several pulse four bullets, they don't even knock you out they just kill! Horrible things.
Yea I was Auto locking players and doing damage, surprisingly didn't die as much as I thought I would have, was probably running up against a wall or something like that, Once I could see myself near Deathy I had to be careful to stay away from the thing! I just stayed on the outside locking onto enemy players hanging around the outside of the base. The player may have been stuck in retry limbo, would explain it. I had a match this morning and the retry feature saved me with 5 seconds on the clock of a winning match, I would have been fuming if I got disconnected then! Btw I realised the hotels wi-fi is volatile, I woke up this morning at 6am and played 3 matches whilst still lying in bed and it was not lagging at all (worst problem was that retry function scare). So long as I stick to off peak times I should be able to at least get a few good matches in each day, feeling much happier now.
And the transfer account feature is still there, just had a look. I always make sure to have a code sitting there in case anything happens to my phone I don't want to lose my account access or anything. After being robbed and luckily not having my phone stolen I realised if they had stolen my phone I wouldn't have had a code and it would have been worse than losing my wallet honestly lol. Soon as it expires I make sure to send a new one to my email.

Wow! Just tons of goodies. This payout actually gave me about 110,000 metal, and though I already had all of the bonus Zoids, it's still a nice present. Especially the heaps and heaps of chips. I used the metal to bring my Breaker up to level 40, but still undecided on who to focus on. Thinking Zeek Dober next? I'm planning to start keeping 110k on hand, in case I see something I really wanna level up, or so I can see what the lvl 50 stats of different upgrades are.
It's nice to have another large Zoid event. I honestly was wondering if we would, its been so long. It has pretty nice rewards, too. The Valentines Ticket is ok~ I picked up a Gacha hoping to get one of my sought after weapons, but no such luck. We'll see how the month goes. Did, however, pick up Gojulas the Ogre! He did very well. I no longer feel guilty about launching the large Zoid. It has made it to the enemy mini base every time.
As a side note, super excited about the new login bonuses. That's much more up to date and useful.
Now, this upcoming new Zoid...
Could it possibly be the same Zoid we've seen a teaser of? I wonder! I doubt it, but it's fun to think about. I'm very excited to see the news.

There's a lot to keep us busy every day with this update that's for sure, rewards galore for the next couple of weeks, But to get them all it seems we have to play 5 battles (prize for each match) and a separate prize for winning 2 matches. On top of that we have the Gojulas the Ogre event to dig into. Finally we have an opportunity to win Memory banks so I'm happy about that! Too many of my zoids are at that mid way upgrade point.
The flood of metal, also about 110 thousand I used to finish off shield Liger and Liger zero. As for the now doubled up reward zoids, they can be like if Mary Champ won the liger zero, they will just be sitting there like decorations until we are able to actually sell zoids.
Oddly my Konig wolfs wins got reset, I had almost 20 wins before the update but now for some reason it says I am only 30% of the way to 30 wins which is only 3 wins! It didn't even count the original 10. Guess I'll have to do them all again. Strange though it didn't happen with the other zoids I got mid way to 30 wins.
Another little thing I noticed was the health bar on bases move around with the screen now so it can be easier seen how much they have, very useful IMO, the amount of times I'd be firing at a base with no clue how much health it has because it's just out of screen is too many.
What's this upcoming new zoid you're talking about Hanyoutai? I must have missed something in the pages upon pages of info newly bestowed upon us.
