I tried to run in front of Deathsaurer but Quite often my Shieldy is too slow to get out of the way again, by the time Deathy stops it's already too late, So I'd best leave that to the wolves and instead maybe take care of the Molgas with the red weapon. Also shieldy seems have maxed out at level 21. On another note I'm in Japan now and having more connection issues than ever, The hotel wifi seems good but I don't know. So that's where those videos are, I've seen images floating around but never knew the source. Wow they are long, can someone else watch them for me and let me know if they are worth it? Thanks (joking but not) Ah Falcarius I was in a Deathsaurer match with you I believe, But you're using your real name right? It was a couple of days ago and you were in a Missile wuf. It was the first Hard match that I had won too so was very happy when I received zoids gold and finally an upgrade part! Now I just need a strike claw. Also the zoids FOR booth with the Deathsaurer has been revealed , very interesting indeed, I had links to post but battery is running dead does anyone know how to get this. I checked on google play and it says not found. Is it for like only Japan or something? vigbrastle.tumblr.com/post/159814895774/now-if-anyones-curious-to-obtain-the-game-on

That's such a weird number to max out at, huh. As one of the wufs that distracts the Death Saurer, I can say we sincerely appreciate you guys who go and handle the Molgas. It''s frustrating when everyone gets run off the Deathy because red weapon Zoids aren't handling Molgas. If you're feeling brave, you can get the Deathy to stop by standing between its legs. It's easier to get away from, but yeah, if someone else is distracting just leave it to them. More than 1 Zoid distracting at a time is just less damage per second. Super excited to have finally gotten a strike claw myself just last night. It'll take some getting used to, but its been a godsend in distracting the Deathy. Zoikino posted about the event~

Well, we've hit the 100k mark (even without the extra 14k from the event), but I don't think we'll make it to the 200k without a serious last-minute push. I got my 100 Deathies yesterday, but I'll keep playing when I get the chance. Speaking of the event, uh... I guess now we know who the "beautiful ladies" are? Vig, I've been using "Falcarius" the whole time and still haven't come across any usernames I recognised, so it can't have been me. Interesting coincidence though, especially if it was my full name (which is pretty uncommon). As for the maximum levels, the number they show on the "enhance" screen is the target level rather than your current level, so if it's showing 21 it means you capped out at 20.

I feel like quite the let down, been extremely busy combined with connection problems i'm struggling to get to 30. Ah yes saw that video, I love the steam! And the fact the steam pipe makes it look like Deathy is smoking. Gotta love the charge particle intake fans on the back of the Deathsaurer girls. Ok copy that it wasn't you then Falcarius, was just your first name and last initial. I figured now that can't just be a coinidence, seems it was. And ah see so I am indeed capped at level 20. Should have figured,Silly mistake. One more thing Anyone found a pic of the internal contents of the zoid chew? I'm guessing they just changed the packet and not the product itself though. Whilst in Japan I might try and find the same product just without the zoid wrapper.

There's another event on the way, starting right after the maintenance period tomorrow, and it involves a new Large Zoid...

Straight away eh, I just spent the past couple of hours getting 100 deathy kills. Looks like we'll be getting straight back into it then. Wonder if Gojulas will do something different or just run down the middle like the Deathsaurer. Regardless I'll be interested to see.

I honestly didn't expect another large Zoid soon. Likewise, interested to see how it goes! I'm glad for the upgrade parts (sort of, upgrade Zoid stats are pretty bad) but I think we would've gotten a lot closer to the stretch goals if they had also extended the individual rewards. But I suppose that's not really the point.
By any chance did anyone catch video of a full Deathy fight I could use for TIB? I only got 1 recording and the audio on it broke. By then the maintenance battle lock was in place and I couldn't try again.

So yea just had a go and well to no surprise it's pretty much exactly the same as fighting Deathsaurer, just instead of being fried by charge particle beam you can be shot down by his excessively large cannons. It looks like you can still play the Deathsaurer round (if of course there are any players doing the same) But I have pretty much every Deathsaurer match I ever played on file still if you Want me to pick one out? And if so how do I deliver? Youtube unlisted?

The maintenance took a bit longer than expected, but the event is now on... and it's pretty much identical to the previous one gameplay-wise (you're just trying to kill a Gojulas Gunner instead of a Death Saurer). The reward system is different, though - instead of giving out rewards based on kill count, the Drop Containers obtained from the mission have a different chance of producing particular items compared to the VS Mode containers. Memory Banks will show up more often, and you can even get a Gojulas (there's a higher chance of this if you play on Hard difficulty, and a 100% chance if you get a Super Container). Once you unlock the Gojulas, you can choose to use it instead of a Death Saurer on the battle preparation screen. If you already have a Gojulas and get another one, it'll be converted into a Repair Kit.
The lack of kill-count rewards means non-paying players still can't reach 1200 Zoid Gold... but fortunately, there's another half-price sale for Golden Week! All Zoids will cost 600 ZG until 11:59 8/5 (the Gojulas event lasts until 12:59 16/5), so any free players who picked up some Zoid Gold from the Deathy event can finally buy a new Zoid. Meanwhile, I'll probably hold onto mine until I can afford another container 10-pack...
(And yes, the button for the Deathy event is still working for some reason, but if you try to actually play it you just get a "this event has ended" error message.)

I was really disappointed to see that there's no individual kill count reward. Not that the containers aren't nice, but really, what difference is a Gojulas going to make if it functions the same. After these events people will be so skilled at fighting large Zoids they may be a moot point. (EDIT: Haha, got super container on first try on secondary game.)
If you could send me a Deathy video that'd be greatly appreciated. Preferably one that shows at least one rubberband, if you were experiencing it, since it's for general review purposes. Even more ideal if it's one showing Zoids distracting/stopping the Deathy a lot, to highlight its weaknesses.
So far I feel like Gojulas is easier than Deathy. Its slow slump forward feels like more warning, but I haven't timed it. I just know I haven't been caught off guard and killed once. So far no rubberbanding on it, either, but I was playing pretty late so that may yet surface.
For the sale, decided to get myself a Saber Tiger. I was going to get Shield Liger, but I'm addicted to that movement speed, and Saber has good attack and defense.
Speaking of, is defense a straight -100 damage per 100 defense, for example? Just trying to figure the effective HP.

Wow the internet upload speed here is insane, Only took like 40 seconds to upload a youtube vid, if I were at home I'd press the upload button then go to bed so it would be finished by the time I wake. Since that's the case here's two videos This one's fairly typical as the title suggests, some rubber banding of players near the start and Iron Kong/ shield liger doing the stopping of the deathy, unfortunately the shieldy could not make it out of the way on time on a number of occasions. And this video is a bit of a funny one. It's a match where one player didn't know what they were doing and going around destroying all the bases, One of the teammates were desperately trying to inform them with the stamps and at one point even running up to them at 3:45 but I'll assume they couldn't understand the stamps. And some rubber banding of the Deathsaurer at 1:58 and 4:51. And at the end My missile launcher just would not reload. No idea what the go was with that.

You only have a limited number of missiles. So if you used them all, no reloading for you anymore.

Super Containers are the purple ones, right? Or is there a rarer one? I got the purple 12 hour one but can't tell if I got a Gojulas. Forgot to look at the text when it opened. Was a random black part, don't see it in the weapons list/upgrade parts stuff, but I also don't see a Gojulas available when looking at VS mode. Would it not be usable until after the event?

Here's a nice comparison shot of all the containers: Silver, Blue, Purple, Super and Support. Purple and Super both take 12 hours to open. You should be able to tell pretty easily if you get a Gojulas, though, because it'll show this when you open the container. I got one from the first container I opened (a blue one), and judging from Twitter, I'm certainly not alone - some people are even getting them first try from silver containers!
