There really isn't any reason to get into this...it isn't an issue. At ALL.
BACK ON TOPIC, I wonder if down the line, this game will create some unique Zoids of it's own. That, at least, could be somewhat interesting.

Did any of the previous mobage have unique Zoids? I loved that some of the old console games had new designs (and wished they'd made toys of more of them....) but I'm not very familiar with the previous mobile games

I see... they licensed their pre-made models to them. That explains how it all has been hammered together so quickly. The same zoid 3d models used since what? PSX days? Not that I would complain about graphics (you know I'm no gfx-*Watch your language!*) but that's now the how-many-thd zoid game using the exact same art assets? Actually, I'm pretty sure Godos and Gordos haven't appeared in any 3D games since the PSX ones, where they were significantly lower quality than the Field of Rebellion models. And given that FoR is being developed by Eighting (Struggle/FMC), not Shoeisha (VS/Infinity/Tactics), they probably made at least the Shield Liger and Molga from scratch too. The Geno Saurer looks to be roughly on par with the one in Full Metal Crash, but I don't think they're the same model. Did any of the previous mobage have unique Zoids? I loved that some of the old console games had new designs (and wished they'd made toys of more of them....) but I'm not very familiar with the previous mobile games Material Hunters had White Tiger and Pandos (plus any enemies that weren't taken from the Concept Art books), and Bonds of Steel had Realga/Molga Pickel, Brastle Tiger Brave/Sikh and Saber Tiger Orthrus. Other than that, most of the mobile games had a bunch of recolours, but I don't think there were any completely new species.

Realga was actually made for Zoids Guardian Force before it appeared in Bonds of Steel. The game had a couple more unnamed Zoids that were advertised in the pamphlets but never made it into the game, sadly. My obsessiveness with Zoids color variants also makes me happy to see new color variants, especially if they get named. Bonds of Steel had so many nice ones. I severely doubt we'd see any like this in a more military-esque game, though. Military games tend not to like the same shiny sparkle (Read: Unrealistic and useless) colors that I do.

There ya go! It's good to have a defeatest attitude. Well, that and it's their forum and we're enjoying it for free. If they had asked for feedback, or shown in any way that they were open to it and/or not sick of hearing complaints about how they run things, then that would be appropriate. but at a certain point you're banging on a wall when you could do something else with your time.

There's a new clip for Death Saurer, who I'm assuming is a boss or something?

I meant Realga Pickel (and Molga Pickel) were new, although I probably should have worded it better. And I haven't seen any pamphlets for Bonds of Steel - did you mean the Material Hunters pamphlet? As for the Death Saurer, it's hard to tell from the video, but the description makes it sound like players will be able to use the Deathy against enemies, possibly as some sort of unlockable special ability or something.

Oops, yeah, I meant the Material Hunters one. The rex thingy on the front.
Were there Realgas/Molgas that used different images or were the Pickels just recolors too? If text counts, there were a few variations that were actual 'variations' instead of just "Command Wolf Red" for example. But I imagine people are looking for brand new Zoids.
On the Death Saurer, I wonder if it's a boss because the scene of busting out of a building is very different from the other clips. I imagine it's obtainable (or at least I hope) but the message is probably generic. They all say something along the lines of "Use this Zoid's strength against enemies, join beta test today!"

Did anyone succeed in playing the beta today?

Admittedly, I did not sign up for the beta test. There's a new gameplay trailer. Love how the Deathy's CPC looks on the battlefield. The spontaneous building popup is a little offputting. The pilot system is very strange, I don't think I care for it. It seems really weird to be able to put the same pilot in 2 different Zoids. And then the random Pocky Liger. I guess they can't all be about war and mayhem!

That looked like utter trash. graphics are cheesy and overblown as per your usual sell out game, gameplay looked super clunky and unorganized, didn't make a lot of sense... yeah that game is going straight down the pooper almost immediately.

TT's running another Twitter follow/retweet campaign, this time until the 5th of December, with two ZA Geno Breakers as prizes.
(By the way, I tried signing up for the beta a month ago, but unfortunately I never got an invite.)
