If you saw my original work in the WIP thread, here's a sort of final version. It's a bit sturdier but still has a tendency to fall apart in half. I used 2 lego connector pieces and so used all but one blox and the heads of the component zoids of Demon's head, Unenlagia, and Mosasledge. Not my Unenlagia is short one blox, and I would likely have used those 2 blox and proper blox connectors if I had them. Please excuse the poor pics, using a 3DS, only camera i got, and bad lighting. The build:

Other side and front of Cetus. The tailblade is meant to be able to swing up to slice into the hulls of ships and zoids. (I assume since they ahve cars and trucks, they have regular ships on Zi.) However tail ahs also been modified to function as a beam smasher like on the gilvader. The lance horns are also now able to fire electomagnetic blasts. All other weapons would be standard. I'm also REALLY tempted to glue the blox together. IT keeps snapping in half in spots because of the weak connections and I am not sure how tro strengthen them. Idieas included extending the armatures out and maybe even mounting Unenlagia and Mosasledge's heads to make use of the guns mounted on them. I'd call this the Hydra or Scylla configuration. However, I'm out of connectors that I could find easily. I'm also a blox short. The rear facing cockpit is to aim the tail rifle and beam smasher saw. (Or out of universe, to help hold the damn thing together.) The teal part of the mosaslege of the first prototype is now mounted on the belly.

Could you hold the camera steady/focus the lens? I can't really tell what this looks like.

One thing Blocks were good for was quickly trying out alternative parts! I like the way this one is turning out. You might want to try some additional light when clicking pics, too.

Could you hold the camera steady/focus the lens? I can't really tell what this looks like. Sorry, I'lll take it apart and try getting better lighting. my room doesn't ahve much lighting nad I'm using a 3ds for a camera...I'll try using my New3DS next time, I think it has autosteady and better zooms/focuses. I want people to be able to build their own if they want And Maethius I will need to take them in daytime. My room only has one lamp, no overhead light, and it was at 10:30Pm when I took these...on an original 3DS. My New3DS has a much better camera, so I'll use it next time. Oh, and take pics in daylight. Not sure if you can both tell, but the blox with the tail rifle, torpedo tubes, and tail saw on it are actually attached using short lego axles. It pushes them out from the blox slightly and seems to ahve a sturdier fit thant the connectors that come with the blox. if I can get more I'll experiment with cutting and sanding them down to the standard blox connector length. Those weapon parts beside the head are going nowhere. Unlike the hind legs and tail section and back in general that tends to fall off at the drop of a hat.

Better pics of final assembly. WOuld pose much better if Unenlagia's llegs weren't so damn saggy. When raised up more he looks very imposing. Sagging like this he looks...sleepy. Or derpy. ANd these are the best pics I could get, Maethius and Leon35 I'm thinking that the Cetus is developed by an independant faction using salvaged and surplus Blox after the war. Mistrust of Chimera AI led to Chimera Blox being used in fusuions using republic zoids.

When Blox joints attack! I'm not sure of a good way to strengthen them. The build still cuts an imposing silhouette, even if it is sleepy.

Perhaps using parchment paper or something? But yeah, at least now it don't fall in half along where I split it to show how I built it. tempted to add Fly Scissors for wings later, but that would be Scylla. I think I can declare Cetus complete. Since I don't want to glue it or paint it or that would remove any ability to use these Zoids in other Fuzors.

!!!
This custom is very similar to a custom I did for the Zoidspoison Blox Contest!
I made some modifications to it recently, along with a ton of other Zoids. I should post them.
Such a shame all those beautiful customs from over the years are all gone now.
Anyway, cool zoid.

When ZP went down, all the images linked to old flickr accounts went with them. Unless those members come back and repost them, we no longer have a record of them.
Most of the winners were Maethius and Rayse Tiger, so those should still be avaliable to see.

Okay, sounds cool. And honestly i just built Cetus here because I wanted to see if I could combine a Unenlagia, Demon's Head, and Mosasledge. Answer turns out to be "Yes and it looks pretty awesome." Or at least awesome to me.
