Finaly building my Silver Geno Saurer, but these spur marks are awful.
What products do I need to make this kit look like it came pre-assembled?

You could try something like a silver leaf pen. I haven't tried it myself though.

Chrome flash is a real problem. I don't think there's a good way to solve the issue.. BUT if you're very careful, when removing parts from the sprues, you can leave a sliver of the chromed sprue behind and... kinda fold it over into the wound? like when you get a cut that still has a skin flap left. Alternately you could sliver off a piece from the spare sprue parts, but this is microsurgery we're talking about here.

Resurrecting an old thread a bit here, but for me, a droplet of metallic paint generally works. If it's a colored chrome piece, mix a little bit of a matching gloss color in with some silver paint to approximate the tone. It won't be perfect, but if you're also careful with cutting the kit out and making the sprue scars as small as possible, you can go a long way towards at least making the scars less visible. Here's a Zoids2 Slither where I did just that- IMO the sprue scars are less obvious now

That looks really good. I always wish that the sprue attach points on parts could be kept to the INSIDE of a part if at all possible as opposed to an outward facing side. That would make life so much shinier.

Yeah, that'd be nice. It's something you see on newer kits that have been specifically designed with chrome in mind, but of course almost all of the zoids models were designed in the 80s with no thought towards chrome dipping at all, so I think it really just can't be helped.
I know some of the Kotobukiya Zoid kits actually do have the sprues designed for chrome plating in mind even when the basic kits aren't chromed at all, which is pretty neat at least

I repaint all chrome kits black gloss and then use Alclad II Chrome.
