ericmd- Thank you so much; it encourages me when people enjoy my build pages (sometimes it takes just as long to build the page as it did to build the custom!)
Gojulas Omega- I always felt there was a bit of a story/design gap, there. Besides, escalation is the natural progression of military hardware; if a Helic creates a King Gojulas, someone MUST come up with a King Killer... Guylos originally created the Descat, but since they were wiped out in the catastrophe, it left an open door for all comers.
Of course, my next custom will be the new contender to Gil Kaiserin!
Falcarius- Thanks! I feel the same way. Of course, if I had the parts and the time (or another client) there could be a Gil Kaiserin 1.5... or 2.0!
Wolftiger- Thank you so much... I still envy the skills of other modelers, but I'm hoping with enough time (and enough mistakes!) I will feel that I compare favorably to them. I have been working on creating articulated customs with what I have; I understand that a lot of modelers in Asia have greater access to items like MSG, Armored Core, and CP kits that help create those joints and details. I will continue to look for opportunities to improve.

I am at a loss for words! Maethius has done it again!
It makes me so happy to hear that you are being paid for your work. You deserve to be working in toy design!!!! It is a damn shame that the U.S. doesn't have the same market for figures that Japan has. I can picture a new model kit line by Kotobukiya, with all models designed by you!

Gilvader, with tiny wings, midget legs, and awkward horns--is the ugliest Zoids IMO second to Gul Tiger and Battle Cougar IMO. You totally fixed everything up and beyond, the Gil Kaiserin is most epic Gil Vader custom I've seen.
BTW my Gil Vader lost a wing tip, any recommendations?

Thanks, guys! Leon35- I would love that challenge! I've actually thought of designing my own line (so I wouldn't infringe on licenses), but it would take a ton of effort. Done right, I could create a line that folks could print piece by piece, but I imagine the expense would be truly daunting. Omlet- Thank you so much! I've thought the same thing about several Zoids, and Gil was at the top of that list... such potential, if only design was pushed a bit farther! Of course, the original was limited by the mechanical action, but this was a great opportunity for me that might not come again in a long, long time! If you lost just a piece of the wing tip, I would say try to obtain some BLACK sheet polystyrene . I would have to check my thicknesses, but you want something pretty robust. Shape it and glue it with Pro Weld, and then use some very fine wet/dry sandpaper to attempt to match the sheen of the original plastic.

I'm glad you like it, Fontana! I wish I had taken more and better pictures of her... well, I also wish I still had her flying in my garage. ^_^

I wasn't expecting to see pictures of another custom of yours so soon after the Wolvreaver, but my god this is astonishing.

Thank you!
Truth be told, I held on to the pics of Wolvereaver for a while. My client really wanted me to enter it into a custom contest, and often the rules stipulate that a custom must be seen for the first time during the contest. After Zoids Poison went down it was apparent that, at least for the time being, my contest building was done. He wanted Wolvie to be seen, and so it was finally posted, albeit later than either of us wanted.
Gil Kaiserin, on the other hand, had to wait until the whole web page was finished and for my client to receive, examine and approve the build. It was really hard to let both models go, but Kaiserin was the harder as she was entirely my design from the beginning.
