Hi.. this is Thecurrymaster from ZP! I totally forgot my old pheno account's name and password so I just made a new one ^_^ Glad to see some of the regulars are still around! I'm a sophomore in college now (Leon you'd be a junior now right?) and a few months ago I visited Japan for a week, and in Akihabara I saw... ZOIDS ON SHELVES. YES, you heard me right. They were selling HMMs and a few of these model geno saurer things that looked like they didn't require much or any assembly. I just wanted to share that with you guys. Also I picked up a Japanese game cube (for only 1000 yen..) so now I can finally play the copy of Zoids VsIII I've had for a year or two now. If anyone is curious about that game, e.g. zoids/pilot/area lists (there's this one really cool multiplayer map where you fight on a whale king!) let me know since I have it and can also read Japanese!

CURRY! Wow, how are you?!
There are still some of those jointed figures out there, like the Yamato and Revoltech versions. It's nice to see from you again, sir!

As long as you haven't given up on zoids there's still hope for the world! I live a lot closer to you now too (far northern CA) assuming you're still in Seattle xD Are you still working on customs?

Nice to see you too Skynight Really? That's awesome, where is he located? I'd ideally like to go to Japan and study insects there some day, but I would probably end up teaching English too to support myself. You'd be surprised at how many fairly pristine mountains there are on Honshu. (oh except you've probably been there too huh?)

I was on ZP but wasn't very active. I started to get more and more active again right before the site crashed and then moved to Pheno's. I can't recall what my profile pic was, but my screen name was the same. If you remember a very specific thread from ZP, I'm one of the guys who made Lego models of various Zoids and got them into a magazine. Here's my Flickr album of them (you might recognize some of them): www.flickr.com/photos/kylepeckham/albums/72157630954904456If you wanna read the article, here's a version of it that I've got on my Dropbox (this wasn't the final version, this was one I was sent before it went to print and I made some corrections to the model names that were missed): www.dropbox.com/s/0zi1iyr93xx3r4k/BrickJournalZoids26.pdf?dl=0

I actually don't think I've ever seen those, or maybe I just forgot? Usually I remember stuff like this.. anyway I don't think we ever talked much on ZP, so nice to meet you Yeah your legos are amazing, do you still make them? You should do Glaive Quama <3. Nice harry champ cosplay, looks like we're around the same age too, how old are you? I'm 19.

I think the thread got buried in the general section, I found it about a month after it had first been posted. Didn't garner much attention since people were making new threads pretty quickly. Nice to meet you! And yes, I still build, just not as actively as much as I'd like due to college. If you just go to my main stream you'll find some of my newer Lego stuff mixed in with some cosplay that's been posted there. Next Zoid I've got planned is a Raynos, but gathering parts to make a teal one is proving difficult. I've been hunting for mass quantities of Lego team for about 3 years now and I still don't have enough to make a proper Raynos. I'm actually considering some of the Bio Zoids or Liger variants if I can get around to getting the parts I would need for them. Thanks for the compliments on the Harry Champ; I've been considering revisiting that one and making it better since I'm far more skilled at cosplaying now than I was when I started. I'm19 as well, in college, and have hobbies that make me broke! Seriously, Lego, cosplay, and Zoids really take their toll on a budget.

Yep, I still live in the Pacific Northwest (a little farther north, though) and I'm still doing customs. Once I get the okay from my clients (yes, I build on commission now!) I will post some galleries of my latest two; each one took the majority of a year to build! I'm working on my third commission now, and my client has voiced an interest in having another one made, but we'll have to see how this one turns out.

I can't wait to see them! Now that you mention it I remember you started doing commissions sometime around when we last talked. That's awesome, you get to refine your custom skills and you (presumably) get paid. But since it's a commission I guess it won't be posted as part of your age of war site :/ (which I'm glad is still up... I still miss Pheno's site...) Who asks you to do these things anyway? Are they people from the forums? From the US or overseas?

I think you're the first zoider I met who was exactly my age We should be friends. What are you majoring in anyway? Yeah, that's why I only bought one zoid last year ^_^" I still love em though, but I'm the type who's satisfied with not having a huge collection.
Yeah you should, though I have to wonder why Harry Champ? xD Are you just a Man Destined To be King? I would definitely cosplay as Jamie Hemeros because we look fairly similar, although I'm much taller.. (6'5) plus the wild eagle/ raynos
Wow, so you collect all your parts from normal lego kits? I kind of thought you might use one of those services where you can order custom made legos, that's crazy they look professionally built! Well keep at it man, lego Raynos would definitely be cool.
You should have put it in customs haha, generals was a fast moving beacon in a sea of molasses. I think I might remember you now, but I think I basically just ignored your thread too. xD sorry bout that.
