That's looking really good so far! It definitely evokes the 'wolf' feeling, though I have to wonder how necessary the blue and gold Murasame parts up top are to the overall structure. I don't know if the Murasame canopy opens from the scalp or the nose, but if it's from the nose, and you can come up with a clean patch for it, I think the cleaner armored look (like something closer to a Fuhrer cockpit setup) may end up looking nicer than just patching the gap. That isn't to say you shouldn't use the Murasame parts, but finding a way to make the parts fit, rather than just patching the gap, would make the head's profile/outline much stronger, in my opinion.
However, if you do decide to patch the gap, Styrene and Proweld from a model train shop should do the job just fine. Just need to find a way to carve up the styrene at the correct angle consistently.
Also, as an aside, could you do a photo shoot with this thing swinging around a model Volkswagen Beetle when it's done? No particular reason, but I've always thought the idea of a super strong werewolf swinging around a Volkswagen Beetle as a melee weapon or something would be hilarious.

Actually , I agree with your views on the murasame fins! I realised how good it looked without it covering that front portion of the snout when I was applying epoxy putty to blend in and fill the cheeks and joint areas. It had that upturned "snarl" look to it. I may reposition or omit the murasame fins because of this lol. Here's what I meant

that is gorgeous! huge improvement. Though I like werewolves with shortened snouts to emphasize the 'partially humanoid' nature, until now this really just looked like a lionman out of Mighty Max. NOW it looks like a wolf.

Really nice to see this coming together! You know a custom is on the large side when you are using Liger torsoes for thighs!

In my experience, a minotaur looks better with a thicker, chunkier arm, not so much long and lanky like a werewolf.. and go ahead and give him an axe or a hammer if you can make one. For source materials, umm.. an iron kong arm would be too big.. but a modified iron kong LEG with its hand attached might work just great.

some updates. Progressing steadily with the werewolf build. Found time and mojo today to bulk up the arms and do a proper fitment to cement everything down. heres what i ended up with. lost count of the dead zoids that gave their lives to this arm lol. also glued down the torso portions. and i managed to give the head a ball joint for some movement. found a suitable piece for the neck area as well. heres with the head in place.. gaps are nicely covered

That's looking pretty dang nice! I have to admit I kinda like the black and gray color scheme from the Energy Liger parts. Do you know what the color scheme will be?

I can't wait to see this finished, are you planning it to be standing on its hind legs or on all fours when it's done?

did you ahve to use a complete Brastle tiger? Sorry if I seem harsh on customs, but they seem like wastes of good zoids when there are so few of them left...or at elast so few I can find.

Sorry if I seem harsh on customs, but they seem like wastes of good zoids when there are so few of them left...or at elast so few I can find. yes. it was complete. but you see this is where the 2 camps are divided at. Im in the customs camp.. I may be at the extreme spectrum so i do not speak for all the customs camp, i only speak for myself. How i view things is that ALL zoids are just "parts" to me. i see each zoid as broken down individual components, where i can use parts from this to merge into another part to make something new. So except for the obvious taboos.. like cutting up a mint king gojulas or gungyalado (u know what i mean) everything else is jus fodder for the custom project. sorry if this seems harsh to the collectors lol. Not trying to be an ass here hope you don't misunderstand. but this struggle is prevalent in everything that can be customised where the original item has sentimental value to pure collectors lol. e.g.. hot rodders vs classic restoration guys, choppers vs vintage bike collectors, vintage furniture collectors vs custom diy furniture... etc. SO i was just trying to show you theres a fundamental difference in how we view these toys hence the blatant lack of regard for chopping things up in my case and the protectective, restorative nature for yours. lol

I'm tempted to look for gundam kits to use as weapon packs. or in the case of my planned redler custom, grab a small F-22 to make a stealth pack. or an F-15 MTBS. i want to add thrust vectoring boosters and guns to it's back. but I want to also mount it so it can be removed. Heck, you could make a Storm Sword Stealth that way, take an F-22 and use it's fuselage and nozzels over the standard jet pack. I jsut don't like the idea of using a pristine kit...I would kill or at least commit assault for a Brastle Tiger.
