Hell of a tax! Maybe in Europe they're used to that, but shipping these days is killing me[/quote] After some of the bidding war battles I've been in a 20 or 30 dollar shipping fee isn't much to quibble about. I was simply trying to point out that it is an incursion that, like taxes, it is something we can do little about. If we want the item we have to accept all that getting it entails. I could complain of the thousands, yes thousands, I've spent on shipping since the inception of the internet or I could be happy that all it has given me that I would otherwise not have at all. I for one am greatful for all that has landed in my collection and have no regrets.

I haven't been following with the latest trend for Japan auction bidding services, so is Buyee the main source? I don't know if it's the main source but for me it has been a painless, quick and easy way to bid and purchase in Yahoo Japan auctions. I went and got the app for my phone and I bid thru them. Once won it auto pays out via what I've set up. A few days later I get an email it has arrived at thier facility. Then I choose shipping and or combine it with other wins to ship together. Then they email again shipping has shipped or in the case of combining is ready to select shipping method. Select shipping again auto pays and next day email tells me it has shipped. 2 days after that, at least with shipping options I've tried, it arrives here in Central USA. I've got to stay off it. Either that or get a second job. Lol! SOOO many great items so little disposable income.
