Favorite Zoid(s): #1 absolute favorite is the Dark Spiner! I'm a fool for spinosaurs. :-D A close second are the Command Wolves & Konig Wolves! Gilvader/Gildragon come in third because who doesn't love dragons?! And last but not least, Liger Zero Schneider! There's a bunch of others I love, but I was trying to keep this list small, lol! Been collecting and building zoids since I was a wee kid.

I'm looking forward to being a member of the forums - I've been following some folks' customs zoids projects for years!

@ Spiralofvertigo, I hope I do, too! I wish I had done it sooner instead of just lurking. ;-) And yes! The Dark Spiner has had its little claws in my heart since they first released the model. Crossing my fingers that Koto eventually makes and releases an HMM kit of it. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

@ Maethius, either or works for me! ;-D Or any combination or abbreviation there of, haha! I looooooooooove Gildie and I'd absolute love to see what you're cooking up with it! I've been a fan of your customs for *years*!

EDIT: I went rooting through old posts and found some posts about your WIP custom and maaaaaaaaaaaan, is it turning out beautiful. Love the little teaser photos -- I'm a sucker for darker paint schemes, and that blue light! Can't *wait* to see more! :-D

I appreciate the compliment! My current custom is pretty involved. I think Eradicator was a bit tougher in some respects (hey, I had to invent every body part from scratch!) but Gil has its own challenges (like sheer size, 6 limbs, and pre-made wiring). I'm hoping to be close to photography within a week or so, but decals alone might take a bit of time.

The sheer amount of work that went into Eradicator is astounding! For a fantastic and one of a kind zoid, though, so hey! :-D
But yes -- I could imagine so! The size alone would be challenging, but factor in the amount of work you're doing with articulation and all that... It's super impressing!

I can't *wait* to see more pictures!

I hope this one impresses, too. If it gives you any notion, each FOOT of the Gil has 14 points of articulation.

This is a commission, if I read correctly? The buyer is getting one heckuva spectacular piece judging by all you've shared about it so far!
14 points of articulation in just one foot -- I wish there was emoticon that properly expressed how much just the sound of ithas me jazzed!

Well, I'm not going to want to ship this one away. I admit, he's getting a great deal (I really misjudged how much time I would have to spend in the painting phase; all those glowing bits required a ton of work!)

In all I've increased the size of the Gil about 25% in length and height, about 50% wingspan. It has 82 points of articulation, and that isn't including weapons and a few other features (chock it up to 90 points with those).

The shipping will be so nerve wracking I bet, given how much work you're pouring into it! And, ah, I know those woes well! Live and learn, unfortunately. )-:

Holy moses, I really can't wait to see the pictures of this beast - it's gonna be wicked impressive! :-D

My client is, thus far, extremely happy with what he's seen. Shipping will be an adventure; the last custom I sent off made it just fine, but the packaging process took a lot of time, especially since it was a full CAS.

Way, way late response (where did the time go!) - but man, I bet he's ecstatic! The thought of shipping it out makes my head spin - lol!

The wolverine was received with high praise (considering he does work for Mcfarlane Toys, THAT is real praise!) But I've been having issues with my latest set of custom decals.
