So today I decided to put on the decals for my zoid and get that much closer to finishing it. However, to my disgust I found that the decals were in fact stickers. I tried to work my magic to make them blend in but it just didn't work. You can see the outline of the sticker and it just looks awful. So this model will not have decals on it.

Since when did Koto switch the HMM kits over to stickers? I always thought they used waterslide decals for their kits.
Edit: Is this a legit HMM? I'm surprised it would have all those fitting issues if it is. You didn't get a bootleg did you?

The earlier HMM kits all had stickers (and unfortunately, fitting issues, usually.) Koto has been steadily improving the quality of the kits in all categories throughout the years, including switching to waterslide decals early in. I believe waterslides only started with Lightning Saix and Blade Liger Mirage.
That aside, though, I quite like the work you've done with your Command Wolf! You may be able to use waterslides from another kit, if you have any available.

Ah, today I learned! I didn't think that the Command Wolf was one of the earlier kits.
And yeah, the work here is excellent! I love it.

I think this just a recolor of the original Command Wolf which is why it would have all the same issues as the original. As for getting decals from another kit I though of searching the net for something but as of now I'm happy with the end result.

These are some update photos. The first one is bullet damage to the left rear leg and gun. This picture shows some wear to the right side as well as the weathering done to the feet and legs. I tryed to make it look like the Command Wolf had been running though the desert. This is just and under view to show the sand did hit the underside as well.

It seems like HMM kinda messes proportions up a bit. Not sure if that's for posability reasons but it seems like their C-wolf's feet are too long and torso a bit too short. The original had such elegant proportions.

The proportions that look messed up are most likely due to the position that I choose to put my model in. The torso is turn and the legs are bit extended to simulate a breaking turn. From what I've seen of pictures on the net, this Command wolf is proportioned the same as the original.
