Over the last couple of weeks, I've been typing up Battle Story text from various Zoids boxes... which has kind of expanded into "any story text from boxes, manuals or catalogues". Through stubborn Googling and auction site browsing, I've managed to track down readable images of almost all the text I'm after, but there's still a few bits that have eluded me. If you can post readable photos or scans of any of these, I'd be really grateful. - All Zevle models except Bolide, sides of boxes (preferably including the colour variants, but the text is my main priority) - This Command Zoid's name ( bag or catalogue) in the highest resolution you can get (I just want to be absolutely certain whether it starts with a ブ or a プ) - HMM Shield Liger Ramar manual (I'm looking at you, Hanyoutai ...) - Manuals for the Blu-Ray Box ligers, the BL Leon Renewal version and the contest prize HMMs (ha ha), if they're any different from the normal versions - Any Z-Knight or Starriors boxes, manuals, catalogues, comics etc. (I know they're not Zoids, but still) - OJR Raynos, back of box (for some reason, this is the only OJR I can't find any back-of-box images for, besides the non-Memorial Set versions of some early windups) (finally found one) - Storm Sworder FSV, side of box (you'd think this one would be easy to find, but no...) (found a blurry but usable pic) - Any Neo Blox/Legend Blox manuals (I think G2 Rex, Valkyrie Caesar and NBZ-01 to 06 are the only ones with story, but just in case...)- OJR Gunbluster, Gil Vader and Descat, backs of boxes (I have pictures, but they're barely legible) (found slightly bigger pics) - Any Rebirth Century models, sides of boxes (found pictures of all of them now) - OJR (not Memorial Set) Pegasuros and Spiker, backs of boxes (just to confirm that they have the same story text as the other early windups)

I can upload the Ramar files if you like, but do you still want them if there is no story? The Ramar does not have a single bit of story information anywhere. The instructions and the box only have random mentions of the band, and not even anything particularly interesting, it seems. Just "Oh look they did the song" kind of stuff. I'm very interested to know though, how do the HMM stories seem to progress? I've never seen a single mention of them anywhere but always was interested. Is it just an echo of the usual battle stories?

Is it just an echo of the usual battle stories? I'd kinda like to have the RAMAR stuff anyway, since it's the only HMM manual Dalong doesn't have scans of besides the Blu-Ray and contest prize models (which are probably the same as the normal ones anyway). As for the HMMs that do have stories, they're based on their Battle Story/anime backstories but far more detailed, and like to mention unique characters/companies/etc. (They also seem likely to cause continuity issues, but that's par for the course with Zoids material >_> ) I'd like to translate them at some point, but I'll probably do it separately from the "box" Battle Story stuff because there's just SO MUCH TEXT By the way, I'll be away again for the next few days, so I still won't be able to participate in Material Hunters stuff...

Anyone have the Zevle kits and feel like sharing? Maybe Lionel (hint hint)? Also, after looking through some of the HMM stories, I'm impressed with how much they know about the Zoids canon, and they generally stick pretty close to it. ...But I've still got some complaints, of course. The main one being, please stop trying to blend the anime and Battle Story universes already. Seriously, the Blade Liger manual starts with the Battle Story background, then talks about how Van's Shieldy got shot by Raven's Geno Saurer... and then engineers remodelled it into the Blade Liger using parts from a new prototype. Also, apparently Harry's Dark Horn has a Crimson Horn core (Oh, and to whoever wrote the Shield Liger Mk-II manual: if you're going to borrow a character from one of the 80s books, maybe avoid the one who's best known for dying at the end of that book, 4 years before the Mk-II was released )

Thanks, but I already have a picture of the pamphlet (in fact, I think it might be yours) - I'm looking for what's on the sides of the boxes. So far I've only found Bolide, plus unreadable versions of Golgola and Zargam (but good enough to know they have more story than Bolide). Ideally I'd like to have a high-quality picture of the side of every Zevle box, but anything you can provide would be nice, even if it's just a fuzzy-but-readable photo of one of the story sections. Also, if you still have easy access to the pamphlet, would you mind confirming something for me? I'd like to know whether the characters 総司令パルース and マイア・ランバート use a バ or a パ in their names (curse you, handakuten!)

Did Hellbound crow end up scanning the Valkyrie caesar manual for you? I have it infront of me if you still need it.
Also relevant or not, I have guitar tabs for Ramar-wild flowers if you would like a scan.

Still no word from Crow, so the VC manual would be much appreciated. I don't really need the Wild Flowers tabs, but I suppose it's another thing to add to my collection

Awesome, thanks! Now I just need G2 Rex and the Zevles... (I suspect there's only one bit of story text for the small Zevles and one for the bigger ones, but that still means I need to find a Zargam or a Golgola )

Sorry to bump this one, but Fal, do you still need some Starriors scans of the covers? I came across 2 of the 4 comics and can scan them for you if you'd like.

Thanks, but I've already found scans of the four Marvel comics (plus mini-comics 2 and 6). If you have any of the other mini-comics, though, those would be awesome (especially 5 - the first four are pretty easy to find on eBay). Still looking for the Zargam/Golgola box story and G2 Rex manual too, if anyone else is watching
