My latest haul is here, and it's a good one...  Firstly, that's five new OJR Graphics volumes (plus a spare of 8), which brings me up to 17 out of 22 (I still need 3, 12, 13, 15 and 18). Secondly, I managed to nab the Iron Bible and the Blox Creation Chapter from a flea-market site called Mercari, completing my set of mailaway-prize DVDs. I also got the 10th Anniversary Shieldy and the DVD from the Iron Kong SS (from Ceil) to go with the one from the Anime Encyclopedia... so now I just need Rayse Tiger, Brastle Tiger and D.A. Lizards, and I think I'll have all the physically-released promo videos! Then there's a couple more magazines, some Blox that came with the Shieldy, the doujin game Zoidon 2: All Star Battle Story... and last but not least, 12 OJR kites featuring the Ironkong Mk-II Limited! Anyone who wants a super-rare Zoids kite, let me know  Ok those kites are really cool! |

Nice hauls all around. I'd throw my bid in for one of those kites, but I'm not sure where I'd store it so it wouldn't get torn up...
My HMM Storm Sworder should be here sometime next week. Not sure when I'll get to build it. I got a sizable backlog of kits to keep myself busy this winter.
Also, I snagged a blue Slithor for my Robo-Strux collection, however it doesn't have any stickers. Would anyone on this board happen to have a scan of Malder's/Slime's sticker sheets, or have access to an unused copy and could get me a high-res picture/scan?

My first large haul in almost two years, and I'm a little happy.   (Bonus: I'm in this pic) In the box on the left are a bunch of the Genesis figures like the boxes in front of it, and the Saber Tiger is the initial release with the yellow claws and teeth. Also, if anyone has more info on the single color erasers, I'd appreciate you sharing. I remember being told they were OJR but that's all I know about them. The blue, orange, and yellow appear to be complete sets according to a foldout that came with one of them, but I'm curious to know if there are multiple sets as I have a stray yellow Brachios and have seen a Shield Liger as well that aren't included in the foldout. If someone wouldn't mind translating I've scanned the most pertinent part of the foldout I feel would have this info. I can scan the whole thing as well if anyone's interested.  (Sorry imgur kills the quality...) And lastly, some extra special items:  Gold chrome Geno Saurer, Revoltech Geno Breaker, and something I'd never thought I'd obtain or even see for sale, the gold chrome Blox Shield Liger, Sauro Knight, and Blade Hawk contest prizes! The GB is special because having both it and the gold Geno means I've FINALLY re-obtained all the items from my lost package! Only took me two+ years. XP Edit: Oh, and this guy! He's missing his weapons, though.  |

Wow, that Gold Chrome set is an amazing find! We must see pictures when they're completed!
And congrats on the Saber. I spent a fair amount of time looking for the original yellow claw/teeth version myself, and it was very difficult to find one when almost every auction at the time used the yellow version pictures. Took me several months to track down. That is also only the 2nd or 3rd packaged C Wuf figure I've seen for sale, ever!

The single-colour minifigs are called "Colour Pose Figures" - at least in this case. I'm not sure which came first, but there was a 1987 box set by Tomy called "Zoids Collection Series No.1", a big lucky-dip box called "Big Pose Prize" by Amada, and the Colour Pose Figures (also by Amada), all of which use the same molds. I think there should only be twelve of them, so the Brachios and Shieldy are probably from some other set, or maybe even bootlegs - it's tough to find information on all the mini-Zoids.
By the way, the foldout is just story, stats and painting advice, so it's not much help, but I'd definitely be interested in complete scans anyway.

The Shikkoku ! Very hard to find ! I only managed to get it last year. And a gold Geno still on sprues, that's a good find too.

Thanks for kind words! I tend to feel a bit guilty getting packaged/unbuilt Zoids as I plan on building and displaying everything, but they're so hard to come by it's hard to let them get away.
And thanks for the info, Falcarius! I'll email you some full scans of the foldout. Were the other sets that used the same molds similar colors? Any references or links?

Some really interesting hauls! Old timey Zoids stuff is always neat. And I've been meaning to get a ZA Liger 0 for a while... But instead I got stuff for my next project! Nothing crazy, but rather than getting another HMM Liger 0 I went with a Berserk Fury to paint instead. And got some neat little tools to go with it.  |

The Big Pose sets seem to show up on Yahoo Auctions fairly regularly - here's one currently on auction, and here's a previous one showing the contents. As far as I know, the Big Pose figures come in the same colours as the Colour Pose ones. (The bigger red/grey figures in blister packs, which sometimes show up on their own, are copies of the three Collection Goods No.2 figures.) Collection Goods Series No.1 seems to be a bit rarer, but slightly better documented. As far as I know, the No.1 minifigs are always red, and the No.2 figures are always grey. |
