I was going to ask if it's real and then I noticed the shaved arm hairs. Congrats! I like it, and at least we all know it means something to you. Is it your first one? If it is then welcome to the zoids tattoo club ( I have a Brastle Tiger on my shoulder)

Bit off topic but i guess the symbol of the deathsaurer that van and fiona find in the acient ruins might be also working as a tattoo.

This is my first Zoid acquisition in quite a while. Unfortunately, it is the wrong one. I ordered a built Blade Liger with an AB unit. I got a Shield Liger with a DCS unit, packaged in a Blade Liger's box. As I bought it through a deputy service quite some time ago, chances are I can't get any resolution. He needs a lot of work. Covered in caked on dust, so he needs a deep brushing and better bath (just gave him a rinse.) The DCS unit won't connect hardly at all. Need to adjust the hinges and probably glue to the base. I'm looking into possible customization options as I've already got an NJR Shield Liger. I'm thinking maybe trying to turn him into a Spark Liger? It used to be one of my favorite Zoids. Still, I am back to square one looking for a cheap Blade Liger to use for my Slash Liger project. Was really looking forward to starting on that, but I really wanted to start with the Blade Liger parts.

Just got very lucky and found a seller on eBay who has the Koto HMM Cannon Tortoise for 37gbp! Free p&p, just bought one as I've wanted one for ages but they went for silly money then disapeared completely, the only other one I found was for 105gbp! These are MIB new obviously and he/she has one left if anyone is interested: canon tortoise hmm 37gbpPlease let me know how it is! I am always wary of Koto's loose fitting piecss and weird engineering choices but I love their designs. I just finished building the Buster Tortoise version recently which is practically the same and it went together fine except for the shell sides on the bottom section which will need to be clamped and superglued, no big deal.

Oh I see what's going on here. You received a Shield liger and now you have to nourish it, look after it and with the help of an organoid it will eventually evolve into a beautiful Blade liger. Patience required. DCS Shieldy's Big bulky weapons are the worst when it comes to ageing. Out of my 2 DCS Shieldys none of them still have their big guns. They just fall off. What exactly is spark liger and slash liger? Have a link or something? I tried Google searching but 10 million photos came up of all sorts of ligers.

It's a lot of work to raise 100 Zoid children! Nonetheless one that needs special attention. I was surprised about the guns. They just seem to have ... given up. I wonder if the hinge is just too thin, so stretches over time? I have a DCS-J and it has held well over the years, the guns still stand high. Of course, I haven't tried to move him much. Hearing that, I think I'm afraid to! Slash Liger is a Blade Liger variant that, along with Snipe Liger, appeared in the Zoids Web Comics. It has been a favorite of mine for a while. Not sure if I'd paint mine the same; seems like color matching may be a right pain on that one. Spark Liger is a Shield Liger variant that has the E-Shield replaced with a generator unit that instead sends electric shocks at enemy Zoids, short-circuiting systems. Most people probably recognize it as the Liger from the Saga series that shoots lightning from its head, but it has been in a few things (battle story, BCG, one of the offshoot comics, the games, etc.) I always used the blue one, so if I make it a Spark Liger, I will probably go blue, but probably a lighter, more electric blue. I'm trying to consider how feasible it'd be to glue card paper or something to the surface of the armor for the lightning patterns, to make them actually extended from the armor instead of just painted on.

Very cool, I'll be aware of them now. I want to see Spark liger shoot sparks from his head in an animation of some sort.
Electric blue ey, I see what you did there. Whatever you decide , Good luck! I'll be interested in the final outcome.

Another smallish haul, but there are a couple of interesting things in there... The CD contains audio ads for Zoids Battle Colosseum and Naruto Ninja Destiny, and the booklet at the bottom centre is a Generations info booklet I've been trying to nab for a while. On the bottom right is an OJR colouring-in book, and on the bottom left is the Gusoku Myoukou armour for the Liger Blue Souga. Unfortunately it's missing the Midori pilot figure, but instead it came with a mini Mononofu katana for some reason. It's my first resin kit, so it's going to be a challenge - and speaking of firsts, that Gun Sniper LS is not only my first HMM but the first Zoid I've bought in person for about a decade (it was at a convention in Melbourne). I also had the option of a Gojulas The Ogre, but I decided not to kill my wallet >_>

Nice haul! I don't think I've ever actually seen the CD before. What kind of art does the coloring book have? I'm guessing very simple cartoony stuff?

very cool, Souga was already constructed? How's the scar sticker on the face doing with age? I'd love to see the Souga content in the magazine.
Nice you could buy in person, even at conventions zoids these days are so rare to see like that. P.S Though if you ever come to Sydney, zoids can be bought in Hobby co in the city.
