congratz for getting those Zoids 2 ultra. I have 2 of this type, 1 common ultra and 1 ghost-part ultra. you should check him after arrive wheter he is common black one or ghost one  thinking : now I really need TZ ultra too  Can't you tell from the pictures which it is? I'm not sure what to look for to be honest!  Which is the TZ Ultra? Cheers! |

@shovelchop: You push it, great finds! I am a total fan of ultrasaurus and especially the Zoids 2 one! As Zoids 2 where common in the UK you should have find some of this perfect zoids there, and this one looks good. I got mine from the uk too, and some other Zoids 2 Zoids. Its some good opportunity as the shipping cost to germany are ok. darksoul: a picture of the 'ghost parts' ultrasaurus would be interesting! |

Also, I remember Enbahan has a Techno Zoids Batlesaurus for sale, you can go to trading post and take a look. Nice Ultrasaurus and HMM there. |

When I saw the size of DeadBorder compared to other Zoids, it is not small, after all it is a battery motor Zoids.
But I think the short arms and comparative large head offsets the scale a bit.
I do wonder if TT were to refresh DeadBorder's design of the current understanding of dinos, how much will it change? If you look at Godos design for HMM, and Dos Godos in Rebirth, there was a strong attempt to bring the Zoids design up to date. DeadBorder could be similar in size and design with GenoSaurer/Breaker.

TZ ultra should be Techno Zoids's Ultra (Battlesaurus) for ghost part at Zoids 2, you can check the color of plastic inside those chrome part, but this check only valid if you decided to build your Ultrasaurus, because it will "damage" MIB zoids and his price in future. If you OK, you can remove some chrome of the sprue (just sprue, don't damage your chrome parts) if the plastic color is white or semi transludent white, then congratz.. your ultra have ghost parts  darksoul : a picture of the 'ghost parts' ultrasaurus would be interesting! I should dig my zoids grave.. maybe tomorrow OK, I just put the parts aside, and once I got your list, I will try to look for the parts that you need. Use SILICONE gun oil, it's used to protect rubber seals, not regular gun oil, that will just eat it!

I understand what you are saying but what's the point of having a Ghost version if it just looks the same? I'm assuming this is just a general oddity as they chromed extra ghost parts stock to fill their Zoids2 line or it was a reissue etc.. but I guess you'd have to be an ultrasaurus fanatic to chase one down and it would always have to be used to know if it was one! LOL. I will of course be building mine, never understood MIB only collectors especially with model kits, why not just down load the box cover art, it'd be a lot cheaper! ;-)

I've had good luck with them on my Heldigunner and Demon Lizard but you never know. |

he should be white translucent color when I save him 5 years a go, but now he is yellowing I don't know why he is yellowing.. I keep him folded inside newspaper, inside vaccum plastic and inside a cardboard. no sun or other light came in touch with him, and he still yellowing  Use SILICONE gun oil, it's used to protect rubber seals, not regular gun oil, that will just eat it! did this method still apply when the rubber hose already hardened? or just a pre-care method to preserving rubber hose flexibility? In fact after trawling the net I only found 4 for sale worldwide! This one in the UK 250gbp asking price that I'm getting for less obviously and these (all Zoids2 versions with box):
