A bit late, but I was preoccupied by an unexpectedly long trip to Orlando. Nevertheless, here are the Zoids I won via auctions on eBay on New Years' Day- 1. BravejaguarThe pilot uses the newer design, but came in gold chrome. Nice! 2. Metal HopperWhile not truly a separate Zoid, as it came with Bravejaguar, I still appreciate it on its own, and don't plan to combine it with jaguar any time soon, as it's the closest thing I have to a Baratz. 3. Lord Gale (Fuzors)Back view Head/claw Cockpit- the pilot uses the classic design, but came in red, oddly enough. 4. Hel Digunner (with CP-07 Unit)Altogether, a pretty solid haul from 2 auctions. Finally got my first Hel Digunner, and with the Shot Cannon, to boot! Fair prices on these; Lord Gale/Bravejaguar and Metal Hopper were won at $23.60 USD, and Hel Digunner with CP-07 was won at $12.17, although the Blox set had $9.75 shipping and Heldig had ~$6.80, so the prices really added up afterwards. I'm still very happy with these, and both Lord Gale and Bravejaguar came with their original boxes, although the Lord Gale did have a broken leg that needed to be repaired, and Bravejaguar has some yellowing on the head and legs. Thanks for looking!

I haven't gotten any NeoBlox yet but I do LOVE Lord Gale. It might be the most perfect of the Blox kits, especially Saint Gale. Nice grabs.

Thanks! Yeah, I've never had any NeoBlox Zoids before, so I never knew how nice the joint systems are on the main body! They hardly seem like the classic Blox at all, although I do feel as though they push the boundaries of Zoid designs overall, and not in a good way- the dinosaurs especially remind me of knockoff BioZoids.
To be honest, I don't really like BraveJaguar at all, save for its companion Metal Hopper. But that didn't stop me from cleaning it up and filing every single nub mark just as lovingly!
Lord Gale is probably my favorite composite Blox kit, as it looks well-balanced and aesthetically pleasing over the whole body and from every angle. and is slim and simple enough to where it looks more like its "own thing," rather than an obvious jumble of several independent Zoids like the Chimera Dragon and, to a lesser extent, the Matrix Dragon.
So if there was a single Blox kit I'd have, it would have to be Lord Gale (mission accomplished!). Still, I now have a small collection of 4- Lord Gale, Bravejaguar, and a Cannon Spider and Fly Scissors from my childhood. I was (and still am) all about the arthropods.
Because of this factor, Bravejaguar (not Metal Hopper) is really out of place in my collection, so despite the effort I put into cleaning it up, I'd be willing to sell it to someone if they really wanted it, although my desire to do so isn't strong enough to offer it up at the trading post.

I think Neo-Blox wasn't that horrible, it was the timing of when Zoids interest waned down dramatically that made Neo-Blox a hard sell. Compared to the Blox, the joints were tighter, and the parts were more specialized (not easier to create a harmonic fusion).
Lord Gale, oh yeah, what a classic design! It does have that sinister evil look, and the portions look about right. I think LeoStriker was a good design, EvoFlyer was ok, Dispelow needed to be larger (IIRC it is smaller than Cannonfort?).

Leostriker has the one good form (I personally dislike the Gunner form) but it has some weird pieces.
Dimetroptera is an interesting concept, and Cannon Spider is really solid. Mosasledge is cool too, and Leoblaze just ...is what it is. The rest is all pretty horrible.
Those and Lord Gale are really the only Blox I am proud of displaying. I had to customize my Chimera Dragon to make it worthwhile.

CISsuperdroid: Congrats on that lot! As Lord Gale is cool and well known for me from the Zoids VS Games on Gamecube, I like the Hell Digunner the most in that lot! The design with this many tubes is very unique and reminds me only of Dead Border also because of the similar canopys.

I never noticed before how much brave jaguar looks like a little weasel or stoat.. pretty awesome. And yeah the fusion concept was smart but it didn't work that well. They kept making easily-reused bodies like Whitz Wolf with removable heads and tails, but almost nothing had a head large enough to use except Demonshead, whose entire gimmick was 'having a large head'

So I've got another haul to post, and I'm pretty pleased with this one... A set of 20th Anniversary postcards, the last Z-Knight Legends pamphlet I needed (unless the rumoured Vol.7 is real), the second last ending single I needed (still looking for a cheap copy of Into Yourself by Transtic Nerve), the MSX2 version of Battle of the Central Continent, and a little pile of stuff I picked up for $25. And by "a little pile of stuff" I mean one of the most awesome lots I've won in years: That's a Zero artboard, a Core Box ad, five Fan Books, four Official Fan Book EX issues, the 20th Anniversary Graphics issue, two Coro Coro bonus posters, a Big Zoids Expo info poster, two Big Zoids Expo tickets, a 20th Anniversary sticker, 15 promo cards from the Battle Card Game, a set of Planet Zi Ultimate Battle Cards, three Coro Coro bonus booklets, an Eisen Dragoon ID card, a set of "Battle Chips", a Cyberdrive guidebook of unknown origin (it's almost identical to the Nintendo Dream bonus booklet, but with a different cover)... and 21 issues worth of Coro Coro clippings (December 2000 through to August 2002). So much new stuff Oh, and not pictured: I also picked up all the 2006 issues of Dengeki Hobby, because I totally wasn't running low on space already >_>

also I missed when we were talking about lord gale earlier. I love that gargoyly lil plumbus. I particularly liked using the alternate blue flyscissors wings

There never seems to be a downside to chromes except the gate marks. Excellent acquisition!
