Got this awesome zoid from Gojulas Omega! This is a wish that comes true for me to lay my hands on this HT. Personally i think it is the most beautiful one cause of the light colored caps matching the crystal parts perfect. I plan to build this one soon as usual i am no zoider that can collect them unbuild... Good to know it is arrived safe. Hope you will enjoy it. Lionel, never know something like this, must be the forum hate "crystal".

Officially it was always "Clear", not "Crystal" - but even so, autocorrecting it seems like overkill.
The Clear/HoloTech split is also a little more complicated. Hasbro came up with the term "HoloTech" for its transparent-coloured Zoids (it didn't have any transparent-white), but Tomy used "Clear" for everything transparent even if it was coloured (such as the "Clear Lord Gale" or the "Geno Saurer Special Color Version Clear Black"). Then Fuzors came along and Tomy borrowed the "HoloTech" term for the Saber Tiger, Command Wolf and Leostriker (all coloured)... but then for the Genesis limited editions, they used "HoloTech" for the white ones and "Clear Color" for the transparent-coloured Murasame (the transparent-coloured Hayate was just called "Special Edition"). Since then, we've had the transparent-white "Gojulas HoloTech" and "Mirage Fox Clear Ver." and the transparent-coloured HMMs "Berserk Fuhrer HoloTech" and "Liger Zero CAS Set Clear Ver."... so yeah, it's a mess.

Probably added years ago. re: On topic, very nice pickup cougan. Gojulas Omega's providing a lot this year for forum members. Cool to see.

OK, my turn, here are my new(possible the last) grabs in 2016- First Crimson Horn Box a bit beaten. Inside It's has been open, motor taking out from the insert, around 3 pieces fall off from the tree/frame and the manual doesn't looks good, but over all it is still a new Horn. Also this lot Got this lot off YAJ again. The Candy toy Gojulas is a surprise for sure(didn't see it when the time I bid on this lot). Sadly, a few pieces is broken from 3 Zoids and 2 missing pieces. The one that affect me the most is Bio Tyranno, it's has almost all the parts except a piece of nail from it's front claw.... (And Bamburian are the one that take most of the damage, 2 broken pieces and 1 missing piece)

Gojulas Omega: Are the Genesis Zoids good builds? Or are they "cheaper" or more "dumbed down" than regular zoids?

Gojulas Omega: Are the Genesis Zoids good builds? Or are they "cheaper" or more "dumbed down" than regular zoids? Genesis's three Liger's had the main frame mostly pre-built, while the rest are very close to traditional Zoids, many were redesign Zoids from OJR/NJR. ALL Bio Zoids are original designs that were never re-used.

Genesis's three Liger's had the main frame mostly pre-built, while the rest are very close to traditional Zoids, many were redesign Zoids from OJR/NJR. ALL Bio Zoids are original designs that were never re-used. Just like SkyKnight said, most of them are repaint or base on the OJR/NJR kits. For the new kits, Ligers are kind of boring since most of it's already built for you(but Mugen Liger is a very nice Zoids no matter what), Rainbow Jerk don't have much to play with, Lancetag is just another Gravity Zoids and Bio Zoids....I only feel 2 of them worth for getting(Bio Tryanno and Bio Volcano). For the quality, some of them has bad plastic. Not all of them, but some of them do really causing problem(like the Gold plastic from Bamburian). I will suggest to starting at the Ligers and some re-issue like Hound Soldier. Next will be the dragons Zoids and put Bio Zoids at the very last to try them out.

I concur with G-Omega- if you want to play it safe with plastic quality and build complexity, go with reissues- often they're unique enough in color but have decent molding and familiarity in build that make them a worthy addition to any collection (Canory Molga, Houndsoldier, Cannon Fort, etc.). Although I must add that some kits are hit-or-miss; plastic quality varies from sample to sample, and there's no guarantee that any one kit will be 100% safe.

It comes with a grade up unit? I thought the Genesis mold gutted the grade-up stuff God I love the colors on that kit.

I don't see a grade up unit on this one. For me, another OJR MIB : The box is in good condition, which is not easy to find. Lionel
