Got this in the mail today from South Korea! Only took about a week, and the shipping was EMS FREE!!! There should be 4 more MISB Genesis Canory units on eBay right now for the (relatively) low price of $24.90 shipped! Pictures below- sorry for the grainy quality; I think it was the yellow lighting. With box- HMM comparison- More reference- Overall, I really enjoy this kit, and it's the first Tomy motorized Zoid I've built off the sprue in many years! It's motor seems decently strong, and I haven't experienced any molding issues that this Molga reportedly has; the plastic has been consistently sturdy, although I noticed that the army-green plastic comes off as the weakest (not brittle, but thin; not so much so that it feels like a knock-off, however). Ayyy, that's the same guy I bought my Genesis LC Wolf from! Glad to see someone else got a good deal from him, hoping mine gets here today.

Those hilarious old designs.. I want them to show up sometime in an anime, and everyone laughs at them. And then their simple, functional designs actually take damage pretty well.

I managed to find an incredibly amazing deal at a small local convention this morning. That's NJR Gojulas and Storch, NAR Molga, Techno-Zoids Battle-Saurus, and a vintage Gordos (Gorgon?). Everything except the Storch was sold loose, disassembled in bag with no guarantee they worked or were complete, but amazingly as far as I can tell Battle-Saurus is only missing a single neck hose and Gojulas is 100% complete, and both still work perfectly. Unfortunately, the Gordos is missing several parts and doesn't work, but he's still cool to have. I'll probably hunt for some parts to restore him at some point, but for now I'm just excited fore everything I was able to find. The best part is, everything all together ended up being just $100 combined. Probably never score a deal that good again in my life, but I couldn't be happier

Definitely! He's probably the one I'm happiest about. I had a NJR Ultrasaurus years back, but I never had the techno-zoid version before. If I'm rebuilding my collection, I'm super thrilled to start with this one.

Time to show off this season's grabs... The most significant finds this time are probably Battle DVD (a collection of videos, music and story text from the first PlayStation game, plus the OJR Battle Video for good measure) and volume 5 of the OJR Graphics (spotted by kpstormie). There's also a bunch of magazine bonus items (pamphlets of customs, calendars, artboards, and a poster), a bunch of video games, a bunch of cards, the last Dengeki issue I needed from 1999, and a couple of obscure records. (The story behind the records: back in 1987, Chika released a single called "Suteki na Summer Boy", which was branded as a "Zoids image song" and used in the Shield Liger TV commercial. However, I recently found a page revealing that Chika's song is actually a cover of the original Suteki na Summer Boy, which was released two years earlier on Megumi Hayakawa's album Cinderella Syndrome. Something feels a little off about using an (undeclared) cover as an "image song"...) On the far right are a Blade Hawk, an overgunned custom Command Wolf (I got it for the bonus booklet that was in the same lot), a Masterpiece Saber Tiger (very nice kit, and the snarling face isn't as silly as it looks in photos), and Resident Evil Biohazard Zero (which came with one of the game lots, along with two spare HAKW DVDs - anyone want one?). I'm starting to run out of media to collect by now. I have nearly all the (Japanese) Zoids books, videos and music, and most of the games. I'm definitely not going to try for complete sets of magazines, cards or toy lines - that way lies madness So once I pick up the NES, PS1 and 360 games, I'll have pretty much run out of media that isn't horribly rare and/or expensive... (Sadly, almost all the English media falls into the "horribly expensive" category.)

I would love to see a better picture of that Command Wolf. I am painting/customizing mine right now and I need some ideas.
If you need, I have a Robostrux comic and some sort of English promotional material from Hasbro. If you are looking to add to your archive, they are yours. PM me.
