Just arrived. Shield liger holotech.


I got this one as a freebie from an ebay seller a few weeks ago. I did not really give attention to it as I thought it was just broken parts. I think it is a remodel set one mixed with sea panther extra weapons.

Nice find! Those Sea Panther parts are great custom fodder! Do you have a grasp on the extent to which the Liger itself is complete?

My MIB Hammer Head arrived. One gun loose but that seems to be a manufacturing problem. The smooth movement and nice look really make me appreciate this oid in a new light



And ericmd looks like aprts of FOUR remodel sets. Starting from the top row, left to right: 3 Gun shields for making manned turrets or use as armor, 3 open cockpit/detachable scout vehicles with 2 small and 2 slightly larger energy weapons each, either laser or beam or a pair of each, 2 ballast/fuel tanks
Next row: 4 beam cannons, 4 dual beam cannons,4 equipment aprts not sure of, 4 pairs of torpedoes, 4 large beam cannons
Bottom: 2 30mm hyper beam guns, 2 equp parts and one tiny part not sure of (possibly goes with shields and earlier parts to make turrets? TIny part looks like a peg to peg adapter perhaps?), radar/sensor mast (could be used on turrets or cockpits or by itself). Looks like an extra generator or similar part to me, and last but not least, 4 more beam cannons in matched pairs.

How much for1 30mm cannon, a cockpit with 4 guns, a pair of torpedoes, a set of the beam cannons and the large beam cannons, and a dual cannon pair? Or at least one of each of those cannons. I could really use those parts. If you want to part with them that is. I could see them used to up arm a godos or other small zoids. Heck, you could make your own Dark Kurtis like Maethius did with 2 of those last blasters and some other parts. You're one lucky guy. It would normally take like 3 ZOids Graphics Pteras and four sea panthers to get the same number of many of those parts.

Even if you don't part with them, you should try putting them on something. ANd try assembling a gun turret. Please?I'm kinda drooling over my laptop screen at the custom fodder possible.

Nice, Ceil! I have an old Hammerhead, but all of its guns are glued in except the left Shot (Shock?) Cannon and rear gun, which is the wind-up "key." I wound the wrong way a while ago and severely weakened the motor, and I'm also missing the top boosters, but I know on eBay, Hammerheads are relatively easy to come by at around $25.00 USD shipped.

Awesome to see the kit made it safe and sound! Shame about the gun, which one was it, one of the ones on the lower missile pods or one elsewhere?

On the front missile pod, I swpped the guns and the one was still really loose, the other clicked in and stayed tight. SO it's a moulding issue apparently. I'll jsut get some parchment paper and wrap it around the gun to make it tight again or something. It's still really cool how it mimics the swimming movement of a real shark. In the anime it was just stiff and didn't swim at all really.

Also, the box seems to list an extra weapon not on the wiki too. Specifically those vertical missile pods. It also seems to ahve a battle story entry, which is not on the wiki. I just need to get it translated.

Those vertical missile pods were used in that one episode in New Century Zero when Dr. Laon tied Harry Champ to the bow of the Hammerhead in hopes of defeating the Blitz team without retaliation.

Time for me to update the ZOids WIki entry and yeah, I noticed the wiki either lacks weapons or it seems like people added junk that isn't actually on the model. Like it says Gunyalado has a flamethrower. It doesn't unless you replaced it's CPC with it. Also i ahve noticed people added junk that was anime only or can't be considered reliable.

Also, funny how I was correct or close on those weapons when I pretty much guessed.

Masterpiece Saber Tiger arrived, I do not know when I will open it as I have a very busy week ahead of me, but I hope to do an in-depth review of this one, since I didn't for Shield Liger. Now I can make a direct comparison anyway, to see if anything was upgraded or improved in any sense, might be a more valuable review~

Good to see another member got a MP Saber Tiger, and a Sturm Tyrann is a excellent grab for sure.
(I'm still thinking, should I go to get a Saber Tiger too?)

Well, I will be able to answer that better after I review it~ I am thinking of at least starting it tonight :°3

And the Sturm Tyrann is old just running out of space to put stuff so that and the shield liger ended up in the image lol

That looks awesome. And I was about to comment I don't like the sturm Tyrann because it has fewer ranged weapons than the base unit, lol. I'd probably jsut add the claws onto the base Fury and not swap the backpack parts but that's just me.

Also, am I the only one hoping somebody makes garage kits of the CP02, CP01 and the parts to make a strengthened Saber for the MP kits? That would be awesome.
