Great Ape great Box😃 will looking forward to see it build. But sadly this HMM will not find his way to me cause without movement its not a real zoid for me. But it will look so damn great will have to think about it...

Grats on the IKPK! I just paid mine...damn, shipping is like 1 hmm zoid  . Yeah shipping was more than half of what Iron Kong PK actually cost, it's crazy but i've gotten used to it from Macross and other kits i've ordered before =) Nice grab everyone. So the HMM Iron Kong PK's box is same as Iron Kong SS or even bigger? I'm not 100% sure since this is the first Kong i've owned, but from unboxing videos and pics of other HMM Kongs i'm guessing it's the same size as HMM Iron Kong and HMM Iron Kong SS (i believe those had the same size box). If your question is about the box of non-HMM IK SS i have no idea, sorry. Great Ape great Box😃 will looking forward to see it build. Well we all have different wishes for models, the Zoids i used to have as a kid were assembled, tested to see if they work, then put on a shelf for display, only time they ever had to move is when others wanted to see. So to me they have always been for display mostly so i don't miss the movement (although i did also pre-order a Masterpiece Saber Tiger to get at least one old-school moving Zoid for nostalgia =) ). I do wish they came with (optional) LED kits though, especially since all of them are displayed with light up eyes on the box. It would add a little bit of life to the models. I might mod some LEDs in myself but i'm afraid i might mess it up and ruin a great (and expensive) model =\ |

I run my new ones occassioanlly, seized motors come from them not being ran at all. SO a little movement is good for them. My Elephander and gunblaster are both seized up. ALl others move as expected.

novastorm: You are right 99 % of the time the zoids are not running. Its totally individual but i love to see the mechanics COULD work also if the stand still. But i must confess i am into the HMMs too and bought a Mirage liger and some others. I think the building and Optic is mostly superior to the old ones but i try to get especially the dinosaurs and apes as old ones. Your IKPK will rock as i said am curious how he will look assebled. novastorm : Your IKPK will rock as i said am curious how he will look assebled. I am curious too, i might be blaspheming here, but i'm going to paint it. Don't know the colour scheme yet but i'm leaning toward gloss black with red metalic and chrome details, or gloss white with blue metalic and chrome details. Who knows, it might turn out looking crappy.....luckily i could always just soak the parts in alcohol to get the paint off  First i'm working on some other models as birthday presents though, so sadly mr. Kong will have to wait a while to even get unboxed. |

i think these colours could work very well, and it would be YOUR Kong! My Problem is often taht i kill the movement with too thick colours, will take care next time.

That one color scheme would kinda make it look like Shubaltz's at the end of Guardian force, and that's a nice color combo for the Kong.

Go for it. Any excuse to get a kit for pennies on the dollar is great.
Word of advice though, don't let your backlog get too large. Only reason I offered some kits up for sale/trade was because of that. Since I'm looking to get into HMMs (I have Zero and just need to assemble it), my stock of NJR kits needed to be thinned out. Also cutting back on Gundam kits...save the RG line. Those are awesome as crap.
