I guess I'll post my treasure trove lol. Can't wait to finally assemble my liger unit with all his chromeness! Some rare finds I acquired while looking for other zoids. I really just wanted on set of hmm-003 and hmm-004 for my van blade liger but ended up with 2 more sets. So why get two more ligers to go with them? ^.^ Zoid cps I snagged that I don't have the models for yet lol. The big "unbuilt" lot. The only thing you can't see here are the silver cp parts for the gun sniper, the shadow fox with his gold parts (built) and the normal molgas (built) ^.^

Who / Where originally made them? I think it's a copy of an original, but I'm not sure on the history... ^ Don't know the artist's name but they could be from the same person who has the mold. The "original" 2008 Wonderfest ones should have come in a plastic baggy with paper that has a picture of the Cannon-equipped Seismosaurus and some assembly/warning text below (if memory serves, the modeler's signature was on there too, but mine's long gone) A certain amount was sold at the convention but there's nothing stopping the artist from making more. In other news; my Sauro Knights came in today adding to my biker-style pilot collection. Cute little guy, pics coming when it's not so grey out.

Nice HMM wealth, Gigaman222, lol. You finally got your LZ chrome parts! Thank you! I was seriously starting to get depressed looking for those parts. Feels good to be done. Right now I'm finishing up painting my other stuff (2 gundam models and the metal gear rex model) then I'm jumping into my zoid models ^.^

I don't think I can see those pictures without signing into...some Microsoft account thing, is what I get when I try going to the address on its own. Maybe they need setting to public somewhere (I'm not sure where they're uploaded)? Or upload them on another photo site. Thanks for letting me know, fixed! Here's my latest batch of customize parts arrivals from Japan. I now have at least one of every single CP except for: 9,10,12,15,16 and that damned elusive CP-21 schneider chrome blades. Getting there! Also can anyone tell me what the model in the second picture is? Strangely, I never ordered it. The auction never mentioned it, but one of my CP 002's came inside of the box. So I'm thinking maybe the guy/girl just decided to throw it in there as a thank you for winning all 4 of their auctions so they didn't have to ship each CP to different addresses!

Ah, those Ideon models bring back memories! Some of the first anime models I can remember seeing at Ted's Toy Shop back when I was a kid!

^is that a Mad thunder behind Gultiger in the second pic? Sauro Knights now built with a couple extra bits and some visor position fiddling. Anyone know how to contact Darwock about waterslide decals for this guy?

FINALLY got my batch of coins after some stress with the post office. I have a bunch for sale; more than I expected actually, and will be putting up a thread in the trading post soon. Below is what I kept from the lot. Not sure what's up with the black coins. I'm assuming they're the base for the bronze coins and never got a top coat. I don't think that's a legitimate gold coin either. All the ones I've seen have been a much more shiny gold, and I'd think they'd be the same size as the silver coins, if not a little larger. Also of note is my beautiful Blue Sissy! Been hunting for over a year and finally snagged her without having to sell a limb to pay for her. A Special Edition Murasame, Red Horn keychain, and blue chrome CP also arrived, but I haven't taken pics of them yet.

Actually for bronze (IF that's real bronze they are using, for collectibles like those coins there are many types of 'faux metals' that can be used with bronze powder) it wouldn't be a matter of a "top coat" missing but a shoddy job of not taking off the thin top layer of fired metal instead. When bronze comes out of the oven and has cooled, the surface -which has had the most chemistry mojo going on with the air- of the metal will have a very thin layer of corrosion crud on top of it ranging from a matte brown to black in color. To get the bronze to look shiny, you need to take steel wool or a file to it to get that stuff off within a couple of hours of cooling. Wait too long and it gets real tough to remove without leaving scratches. Adding a patina (this is similar to a "top coat" for metals) to the filed and shiny bronze will protect the surface from corroding again later. Plus you can change the color some with different patina agents. Here's some real bronze getting filed: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1t8TU_EWxzQ And here's some fake bronze (which I suspect the coins might be made of) getting finished: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QA0PssidXIAnd congrats on the blue Sissy! Is the Murasame you got the one that came with Ruuji?

Thanks for the info, Greengai, that makes sense. The black is pretty unique though, so I'm not complaining. All the coins do have a bit of weight to them so I don't think they're too cheap, but I'm not familiar enough with metals to speculate what they're cast in.
And thanks! Loved Blue Sissy the first time I saw it and it's been a Holy Grail since the beginning, so it feels nice to finally have her in my clutches. And I haven't opened the Murasame yet, but there's a little picture of Ruuji on the box, so I think so.
