Managed to find one for $90 on ebay... From Malaysia. At least shipping is free. (And it'll take until Jul 20th/Aug 3rd to arrive) And apparently this person has multiple, as they relisted another after my purchase. At least, I hope that's the case, or I'm going to have quite the long talk with ebay's customer service. I've only ever seen these for $200+, so hopefully this works out well. That's the same deal I got last year; turned out just fine for me! Congrats! |

Oh wow! Nice grab! That is one very rare item for now a day. Here is my grab for this while-  I think everyone know the ZA Hayate Liger, for the Gorem, that is the Panzer Tire version, got it on ebay. Not cheap, but reasonable for now a day(expect the shipping....). For the Doujinshi at the back, just saw it on Mandarake when searching for something, didn't thinking to much and add it into the shipment. It got some nice graphic, but if you not crazy for the line works and details, the back cover is all you need. I also has other stuff received, but they are either parts or junk Zoids, so I'm not taking any photos from them. |

My Geno Ritter has arrived safe and sound, and lies unbuilt in the box pile (I like saving the boxes/artwork) until I can get the paints for it settled and ordered. I'm thinking a clear pearlescent over that wonderful blue to touch it up, a chrome on the vents and edge of the blades, and some metallic silver on the plain gray feets and claws. Debating the chrome or the metallic on the helm. There will also be some clear matte applied to some of the underbits to take away some of the plasticy look, hopefully. And I'll see about how the nice red forehead blade looks with clear metallic or clear pearlescent.
Basically, I really like the Geno Ritter with its current color scheme/layout, just not necessarily some of the finishes of those colors, so it's going to be mostly clear touchups, with the boring gray feets done up nicely.
Also, I didn't realize how freaking MASSIVE those blades are! I haven't taken a proper measurement, but they look to be 12-13 inches long - they practically span the length of their sprue, and almost the the entire box's width. They're like the eggbeaters on the Fury, maybe longer, but EXTREMELY intimidating, even when not in motion. I couldn't believe my eyes, shining my flashlight through the plastic, at how big they were. I love it.
Also, I have been meaning to upload a couple of pics of my collection so far, but my wife has the laptop that can actually read my camera's memory card, so I've been waiting for a day when she's at work where I can use both computers without cutting into her game time, since we both work full time, and time spent just relaxing is rare around here.

Yes, it's a crystal/clear death saurer and a silver chrome geno saurer. I've never tried a clear zoids or chrome either so idk what one would be easier to put together

Scored an incomplete OJR Storch from Israel on Ebay that has the pieces I need to fix my own! After nearly a year of searching, I'm glad to say I am looking no more!
