Happy Birthday to me!Last week this old fart turned 59. My gift to myself was a crown jewel that once was another zoiders who was willing to part with some of their treasures. After a bunch of conversations, emails back n forth I set forth a plan to make it mine. We agreed upon terms and all were happy with the outcome, or at least I was. The Bloody Gilvader has a new home and now my Gilly platoon grows even more! Here's what I need to know. She was told it was a prize giveaway when she obtained it. I see on the box in the upc symbol the word customs and below that the words black label. So does anyone anywhere have any information on customs black label or black label customs? I know leoshop and mechadios did lots of chromies but this is the 1st I've seen of black label customs. My quick net search was fruitless thus far. I may post pics later after rebuilding the bloody thing lol.

Well I've still yet to rebuild the bloody thing! However I thought I'd at least share the box pics for now.    Again I will share more once built. Still doing the same crazy routine to upload a pic. |

And to think she was worried about the box's condition! I think moreover it was the way they made it. They got a box and then attached these panels onto the box. Some of the gluing didn't hold and there's some bubbling hense why I know the process. I love the box! All 5 sides of the top outer box has these awesome panels. I love the back story side panel in the last pic. Sorry I should have corrected orientaion before uploading it. My bad! That pic was actually send by the seller to me for accessing the box. The other 2 I took. If you look close there are 2 of my 4 printers in the pics. Glad you guys like it as much as I do! |

Right now, I just in Hong Kong and shopping after 5 years wait. This time, I found-  They got more, I just but these 3 first, since I don't have them yet. The best thing is, all 3 of them cost me less than HKD$460(less than USD$60). Too bad can not find some of them from this series like the special Black Fang Tiger. But still very nice grab for me. |

Not necessarily a latest acquisition, but my latest build, the HMM Storm Tyrann.  I grabbed this guy back in 2021 to replace the first one I accidentally ham-handed while building it and shattered one of the main body halves (not because it was fragile). The build wasn't bad, but panel lining it was terrible. It killed three of my panel lining markers, two of which were brand new. And it took hours, and I still keep seeing tiny details that I missed even while looking at it! It seems like the ankle issue the original HMM Fury had has been fixed, as they're much tighter now. Speaking of, need to get around to fixing my original HMM Fury... His latest fall left him in pieces, but I want to see if I can't fix his ankles without permanently gluing them in place. |

So my patches arrived today! My they look great! Also in the package were my other items, I bulk ship from buyee when I can. The other goodies were. 1) A zoids journal 2)Another pencil holder, this time a box not a bag 3)A zoids mahjong set, er I think that's what it's called anyway. Still on the hunt for that umbrella only 1 slipped thru thus far. I was too late to find out falcarious was willing to pick up items. Anyway this is the haul this time.  |

YES!! I just won an FZ-03 Zoids soldier set. I have always loved the vintage human figures since they come with creative armor sets, weapons and now....a mini mech suit!! Its gonna take all my strength not to just paint and build these right away, but I want to mold and cast multiples of them to army build somewhat. Time to start looking at casting materials again...

I have only done casting on a micro scale. I bought a molding kit from a hobby shop and made molds of HMM pilots. I dont have a pressure pot, so my success rate was only about 75% coming out without bubbles after trying different methods. The two part resin from the kit works pretty fast. It generates serious heat as it cures within minutes. I can crack them open in about an hour to inspect details. The largest part I tried was a Zoids base plate.

Last week I won my first Robo Strux kit in an auction on eBay! Presenting the Robo Strux Kreep, AKA the 1985 American release of Molga! Now I'm missing only Dark Molga and Zoids 2 Slither before I can call my collection of Molga variants complete!  I must ask! Where pray tell did you get the tire smoke stand for it? I now want one! Drool! Hey, sorry for being a year-and-a-half late  but the smoke/dust effects came in the Bandai 30 Minutes Missions Customize Scene Base (Desert Ver.), which includes a hexagonal desert sand dune base, two mirrored dust cloud effects, and a couple of rocks/boulders! The base alone isn't really useful for anything except a single 5-6-inch mech/figure, but the dust can be useful for other things!
