(Also that site is way overpriced compared to just buying it directly from amazon.co.jp, which I've found will usually ship overseas if you're buying from a store rather than second-hand from an individual.) EDIT: Oh hey, Amazon actually has a photo of the chromed parts now!

For me, Amazon is not shipping overseas for this particular item. I'm not sure why since I have no problem with the blu-rays and stuff? But it says "Sorry, delivery is unavailable to your address." I believe a couple people from the US have had the same issues. Any idea what countries are allowing international shipping?

Amazon JP won't ship toys internationally. Books and movies, yes, but not toys.

That's a shame. It means you'd need to use an importer. By the end of it you are paying bare minimum $53 extra just for the chrome claws and teeth... and that's not including shipping of any kind.

They don't look very chrome to me, they look more like spray paint.

Well that Saber Tiger looks really nice, and so does the Shield Liger. Kind of glad to have preordered it.

Just translated this from Coro Coro Aniki... Now I'm confused. The "60 thousand light years away" suggests it's not set in the Concept Art universe, but the description doesn't quite seem to fit the OJR (Sabretiger was released first, and the Shieldliger's release only slowed the Empire's advance slightly) or NJR (again, the Shield Liger only slowed the Empire slightly, and neither Zoid was new) Battle Story either. I'm going to assume NJR (since that's where the nicknames, colours and "Saber" spelling are from) with a few OJR elements, like the name "Planet Zoid" and the gold pilots. Oh, and the pic Hanyoutai linked to suggests that the Saber Tiger will be coming out in January, which is a good sign.

^Kind of sounds like they're winging it with the story, throwing elements in from various older sources to get something "new" but familier.

Between Christmas and Zoids, I don't think I'll be starting the new year well off. XP

I pre-ordered this kit off AmiAmi on July 26. Do we REALLY have to wait until October for this kit to be released?

I've waited over a year for pre-ordered items on AmiAmi, and have had yo put up with with GoodSmileCompany delaying three of their figures making a six month wait twice as long. This is nothing compare to that.

Yes, preorders are almost always posted several months in advance. At least you get a hugely discounted price, though. As toymon said, delays are also not uncommon (though fault of the company, not the store most of the time unless they didn't order enough stock.)

HLJ also says October, so I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles.
I really badly want to believe this is going to be the first of a new series, by the way, but...

October is the general release if I recall. And I'm on that same boat. I really want this to be successful....
