We also have our first look at the plated parts included with Amazon orders, confirming that they are chrome. I was actually quite surprised we didn't see earlier looks at these on the Amazon site. At least I don't think? Looking forward to seeing a build Shieldy with them. Order of that person apparently and you get a bonus bird icon thing attached to the box? and lollies, cute. Usually it's random anime tissues, though once I received Green tea off a Japanese seller, I love how they do that, back on track though yes chrome parts on Shieldy will be good to see. And anyone with those chromies will have spare liger teeth. So if anyone breaks a liger tooth , you know who to hassle. EDIT: Armorless Shieldy with chrome teeth spotted and walking on a stand without armour That'san interesting video. Is this common to have the body underneath the armor to be modelled out like that or is this something HMM/Master special?

The grey under body still comes in Pieces and needs to be constructed around the main motor body If it was just the detail of the body you were referring to well I guess zoids have always had some degree of detail under the armour, This could just be seen as taking it to the next level.

Just asking because armorless (or detailed under-armor) I've seen so far only with CAS.

It's not horribly uncommon for Zoids to have some under armor detail. Usually not a lot in areas that aren't visible, but Konig Wolf has a decent unarmored frame. So does Command Wolf and Energy Liger.

Any Masterpiece therapod dinosaur Zoid would be great, but Death Saurer would be awesome.

Zoikino has a review featuring some very beautiful pictures. I'm finding myself really fond of the multitude of colors used for the frame. Makes it look way more detailed.

We need a Masterpiece Death Saurer. I agree; for something so iconic that had to be so stylized in the anime, this Zoid really needs an update. As for the Masterpiece SL, the subtle color differences are actually very cool. Is it just me, or is the battery fully exposed on that thing? The shot of the side view clearly says, "Panasonic" on the belly just in front of the rear leg. Also, anyone notice the pair of machineguns they added to the triple shock cannon? One detail I don't like is the flattened hydraulics on the sides of the body frame... they look silly. The stand is very cool, too.

Well the impact cannon always had two pegs there for putting guns on, I think most people put at least one there. I know I did.

Congratulations on being the race winner!
Re: Machineguns, do you mean those extra barrel-looking things up in the corners? I don't see anything where the pegs usually go. Either way, a lot of nice details here.

I don't think these are machine gun barrels but I could be wrong. It's quite small those thingies.

I don't think these are machine gun barrels but I could be wrong. It's quite small those thingies. Maybe its just a detail, but it depends on your scale... a 50 caliber gun isn't very large at 1/72. Most of what Zoids label as "machineguns" would be closer to 50mm than 50cal!

But maybe I'm looking at the wrong 'something'?
