Is this saying that the MP Shield Liger will be postponed until December? I've been seeing posts to this same tangent for months now but every store that I check, including the one linked from the site still list it as October. It is not just Zoikino, but multiple twitter users I've seen mentioning something about the Shieldy being postponed until December but I can't find official sources for it. I'm wondering if google translate is just gnawing on a particular key word or something.

There doesn't seem to be any official word, but Dengeki Hobby and Mercy Rabbit have mentioned the sale date being December, so it's probably just a matter of time until TT announces it properly. |

This is kind of turning into Zoids Original, which makes me slightly anxious. I know delays are common, but ehhhhh. The Masterpiece Shield Liger has been pushed back even further until February according to my pre-order message.

Oh wow, the walk looks actually very cat-like when suspended. Does this mean they may make different color variations of the model? I like that desert look; it even has a clear canopy.

Takara Tomy for some reason changed the release date to February 2016. I decided to cancel my pre-order for this kit on amiami.

Seems Shieldy was delayed another month (Feb>March) and Sabre a few months (March>August). Hopefully this date will stick!

That's good to know actually, I noticed ami ami don't actually specify when they are pushed to in their emails.. well the latest one anyway, So I had no idea. March to August dang that's quite the pushback

Here's a really cool interview article that features pictures of both Zoids and concept art for the Shieldy. It also has another view of that prototype Cyber Kong we saw forever ago. Not as a new release or anything, but still. We also get a real good look at the striped armor of the tiger.

Not as a new release or anything, but still. We also get a real good look at the striped armor of the tiger. And this whole time I thought those stomping noises were added in for the promotion video. Funny how shield Liger walks, then stops , the tail does a clicky thing moving up and down then it carries on walking, Almost as if that clicking thing is serving some kind of purpose like rewinding the walking mechanism like in wind up zoids. Saber tiger is looking fantastic too in those photos, Think I'd have to go with panel lining mine like they did. Just noticed the legs have three different cap sizes and oddly some lime green colouring under the bigger one. |

There's a lot of nice stuff in that interview - the concept art, the Iron Kong Evoluzione photo (from 2004, but still...), the Shieldy's sprues (looks like the "gearbox" will be making up most of the body after all)... But what I'm most interested in is this, the "Zoids Concept Book". It's shown up before in a 2006 interview (and now that I know what to look for, a 2013 interview), but despite the 2006 interview's claims that it was "issued to commemorate the 20th anniversary", nobody outside of Takara Tomy (and anyone who read the interview) seems to know it exists. I think it's safe to say this is the ultimate grail for a Zoids book collector like me... (Thinking of unfindable books, I wonder what happened to Concept Art IV?) |

I wouldn't be surprised if it was delayed indefinitely due to the delays of the MPZ line. Depending on what's in the book and whether or not it spoils designs that are currently in-the-works it may not be ideal to release when the line hasn't even launched.
