Beautiful assembled. Makes me sad that this kit didn't see full production, I would get one in a heartbeat! Great sculpt all around! That tail seems familiar.....

It's look better than other Zoids in Gravity series. Too bad STUPID HASBRO stop the Zoids line and tread them like garbage.

Yeah it's exactly the same as gravity saurer. On a side note I -am- planning on starting to practice casting custom zoids pieces. . . So that COULD evolve into being able to cast the gravity saurer one day. I'd love to do it, I could even cast it in different colors and even holotech if I get enough practice in, lol. My wallet just needs to recover now from buying the gravity rex so I can afford the supplies to practice with! I'd think a 3D scanner + 3D Printer could maybe work, it might not walk but at least for me I don't care haha. And I don't know how good 3D scanners are right now, but I do have a 3D printer...

I wish I had an extra weapon for it! It would look so badass with 2 cannons on the back, lol.
I think most of it can definitely be resin cast without any problems. There aren't many awkward weird shapes or anything. The peg holes would all have to be drilled though, because that weird triangle shape makes them fit SO TIGHT... that seriously the plastic can barely handle it. Resin would completely bust if you tried to snap the pegs together.

Seeing this cheered me up a little after the whole ZP thing. Nice to see the Gravity Rex going to someone in the community that will actually share pictures and information. Nice photos and review.

It's look better than other Zoids in Gravity series. Too bad STUPID HASBRO stop the Zoids line and tread them like garbage. I've had the exact same thoughts. The designers at Hasbro were really onto something. The Energy Zaber was never even completed. It is a shame that Hasbro ended the line the way they did. When they transported the rest of the stock out of the United States, instead of at least giving the new stock a chance, it is like they couldn't end the line soon enough. I would have liked to get a Seismosaurus. On another note, it looks like Gravity Rex, in addition to have that missile/harpoon/whatever launcher, and the twin shock cannon, also has twin snout cannons.

Quad, more like. The more I see this kit, the more I like it. It's actually a medium sized Zoid, isn't it? At least it looks that way next to the Konig. Any chance we could see a shot or two compared to a Geno, Fuhrer, or Deadborder... something more akin to a 'Rex?
I wonder what the odds would be of my finding one of these at a local garage sale? Actually, if I had the means, I would love to be able to buy a resin cast copy of the whole kit! That should be a garage industry for someone... reproductions of out of production kits. Probably illegal somehow. (Descat would be another I would buy!)

As Maethius said, it would look incredible painted up with all those little details. Great job managing to score it though, even with the price it went at (but for such a rare zoid, it would have been worth it )

Heeheeheeeeeee This won't get traded off unless someone offers their whole collection maybe. LOL
I still need to find a freaking rip cord so I can take a video of it running. (anyone want to trade me a rip cord for a gravity rex? LOL)

Where did you get this, and if you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it?

Where did you get this, and if you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it? Rhas hasn't been on in sometime. But I do remember about it. She got it from a guy off of eBay, he used to work for hasbro before retiring. He had a bunch of prototype toys, a decent amount of Zoids. He had around 3 of the gravity Rex, a hasbro unltimate seismo, and a hasbro blade liger limited (which someone on here has). The 2 gravity Rex sold for $1000 each, give or take. I believe she paid close to that for the third.
