Ok, I know I am being on here kinda back to back....Random inquiry #3!! Has anyone ever made a waterslide or sticker from the Zoids 2 Sabre that works on HMM?? That gold Great Saber variant is making me want to copy the one from the Three Guards episode from Chaotic Century. After looking at the original Zoids 2 kit, its only the fancy cheek design right? Zoids CC used it to represent the Guylos royalty units and now I want some. Not trying to seem needy, but I dont have any graphics tools or experience to do it myself, so is anyone interested in tackling it? I would pay for a decent waterslide set for about four Sabers, with bonus if in chromatic.

I have sent them an inquiry about the labels I have ordered in the past being an option, but they arent on their site anymore. I originally got chromed versions of the Republic, Zenebas, Guylos, and Proitzen Knights symbols through them. I have less than four total mini insignias left, but they are the stuff!! As far as the Zoids 2 stickers, they would have to have an original to copy, let alone a modified version.

Ok...quick disappointing update. Toyhax (Reprolabels) has discontinued all Zoids labels and will no longer offer them. Its a shame really because the ones I got were absolutely brilliant. IS there any other source available for sticker sets or water slides??

The subject seemed to fit what is on my mind. I have in my collection a scitex drillgan unit, no not for sale, just one. I've desired vastly more for decades. Yet they seem to never appear in Ebay. Something that has appeared there twice now, taken off currently, are two garage kit transfighter zoids, golo launcher and eagle shot. This has me thinking. How does one go about remaking an item like the drillgan unit. I have a few 3d printers. I'm lacking 3d scanners, some more softwares and I too could give it a shot. Also yes my resin printers print in outstanding quality. But it could very well wind up costing me my only drillgan unit just to even start attempting the project. That is too great of a fear to overcome! The other options are just the same. I would have to relinquish my prize possession to a maker to make the knockoffs. Again possibly never seeing my only one ever again. Plus spending quite possibly 1000's of dollar just to get the project accomplished. This very night I even wrote Tomy US and begged for a remake for us zoiders and encourage others to do the same. I know that will get me no where but nothing is what you got when nothing is what you do. Maybe some day when I get all my equipment I will give it a shot.

Ok here it is. I have, in my collection, a hasbro sea striker prototype. It was painted primer gray by them. When I bought it there was a crack in a part on it. This reveals that it is ghost zoid semi translucent white under that primer gray. Would you leave it as bought or remove that primer gray and have one of a very few extremely limited ghost zoid? What to do.....hmm?

I will try to post a pic later today. That ghost sinker is the regular size sinker from the looks of it. The sea striker is smaller. Oh wait, I have a size comparison pic of it here somewhere.....hang on...... Bill fumbles around with his phone......'Damn it! Where's that file?' He mumbles to him self.... a hour later after searching 1000's of pic in several folders I think you might be mistaken, the primed model you have is the Hasbro action figure, not a motorized model kit like the traditional Sinker. The smaller size and presence of a Phillips screw give that away. I don't think such a prototype is mentioned on the wiki. As such, I would be hesitant before I remove any primer, assuming this really is a legitimate prototype. Where and from whom did you acquire this?

Yes I know it is the action figure version. So no I'm not confused. I just mearly forgot to clarify which of the hasbro sea strikers I was referring to. After all they had several. I Bought it in ebay many years ago. I removed the cover, fake rubber stoppers that are too also plastic, off in the pic so I could get a shot of the crack better. It also comes with the firing mechanism, not pictured, the bottom of which, the part that connects to the zoid where the windup on a normal sea striker or sinker is, is not primered gray and is also the semi translucent white plastic however the rest of said gun is primer gray. I've been torn for many years. I know all that ghost zoid is sitting under that primer gray yet have not worked up the nerve to remove it. I, like most of us collectors, would love to add a ghost zoid to the fold. Yet leaving this as purchased seems somewhat proper. The only other proto type item, zoids wise anyway, I have is actually just a test box for the technozoids gator. Made by the company that was making the boxes. It is complete with the bagged unbuilt zoid inside. The cardboard is random junk cardboard from other boxes they made. They called it a test fitting box that after getting a go ahead they would go into production and printing of the boxes for the line. Odd ball stuff I know, but you add what you can when you can. One final thought on the sea striker I have. Note how many caps it has. 4 not 6. All others I can find have six even in both versions of the action figure types. Thus at the very least this one is unique.

Ultimately then I would agree with your sentiment regarding leaving it as Hasbro did (primer and all), but that's just my opinion. Merely knowing that it has the clear plastic underneath is good enough for me, personally- and should the need to sell it ever arise, I'm sure you could mention the clear plastic and give it a corresponding mark-up in value!

Lol! Actually I have trouble letting things go. The reason for the move to the upstairs rooms was to separate collectables to start thinning out the non zoids stuff. See room of that stuff here. All must go or at least drastically thinned out to the high dollar stuff.

Some Hot Wheels road wars and Hot Wheels Liberty base is about it in that catagory. There are a few more Hot Wheels line toy that fall in there but I don't remember the names.
