Porting from Zoidspoison because of all the useful trivia... This auction went up on YJ and I was wondering if anyone recognizes what the little card/sticker things to the right are from? And possibly the little booklets, especially the Gojulas one in the bottom/center and the Dead Border one. Also, does anyone know where these random Liger Zero baggies are from? The Deadborder booklet is a catalog that were put inside several Zoids box from the same period. The cards, I already saw them. I think they are just little cards. For the Gojulas booklet at the bottom, I don't know. I never saw that before. Lionel For Dibison, from the box, how do i confirm if its metal or plastic horns and hoof? Only Hasbro version has plastic horns and hoofs? And also, what is the price like for a new Dibison in SGD? Thanks guys! As far as I know, the Dibison all have metal hooves except for the Hasbro/American release. As far as I'm aware there's no difference from the two besides boxing and instructions (languages). One is Tomy and one is Academy. Academy is a company that distributes Zoids in Korea and often had different boxes. This Brastle is likely one of the 2010 rerelease ones. While we're posting random questions here- How many issues were there of Spiderman and Zoids? I have the one book of the UK comic, but then there are issues listed in the numbers 30-40? But I thought there were only like 15. Are there separate books/publications? This auction went up on YJ and I was wondering if anyone recognizes what the little card/sticker things to the right are from? And possibly the little booklets, especially the Gojulas one in the bottom/center and the Dead Border one. Also, does anyone know where these random Liger Zero baggies are from? I've seen both the bags and cards before, but don't know much about them. The top row of booklets are some of the OJR Graphics, and the next two rows are catalogues. As for the big book with the Gojulas, it's a Battle of the Central Continent walkthrough book that I'd never heard of until this auction. That and Zoids Battle Comic make me want this lot so much, but it's going to be so expensive... ;_; While we're posting random questions here- How many issues were there of Spiderman and Zoids? I have the one book of the UK comic, but then there are issues listed in the numbers 30-40? But I thought there were only like 15. Are there separate books/publications? There were stories in 8 issues of Secret Wars, then 51 issues of Spider-Man and Zoids, along with a single Annual book and a rather overdramatic book-plus-tape (which is what you have), then a cancelled Monthly with only one volume known. There are also 4 season-length collections of the Spider-Man and Zoids comics, containing about 13 chapters each. And as I'm sure you're aware, all of these are on zoidstar.com, although arranged in story order rather than release order (for instance, the stories from the Annual are scattered all over the place). Hanyoutai Tried pming you but your inbox is full Whooops- Inbox has been cleared~ Thanks for the info! How much of those stories is the same story/art? Like, is secret wars the same thing that's already found in the 51 issues? The secret wars issues were not reprinted in Spider-Man (which is officially volume 2) but from memory they may have been in the annual. It was the real start of the story. As far as I'm aware, the seasonal collections were the only real reprints, although the backstory about the Zoidaryans and the Namer (as well as the associated artwork) showed up a few times in promo pamphlets, posters, the Annual etc. There's also scans of the Annual on this forum, so you can check what content was originally from there and in which order (unfortunately, it doesn't contain any Secret Wars reprints). Thanks for the info, guys~ I didn't realize that there was such a massive number of books involved in this series. That's going to make collecting them a whole lot more interesting. I'm also cringing at that auction- usually they do not shoot up in price so fast when there are still days left. Wonder what it will end for? It was only $40 when I posted it. I want that comic so bad -- I've only seen it a couple of times. Hopefully someday I'll be able to snag a copy sold by itself. I have a whole bunch of duplicates, the thread is in the sales forum but I was holding out for trades for mint copies of issue 34 and 44 (as mine have writing on the covers). Still if you are embarking on that particular quest I'm sure I can help out. I've just fixed up my HMM Dark Horn but i've got some questions: - What am i supposed to do with the spare parts? The instructions don't say much on it. - Is there a guide on how to make use on whatever spare parts i've got left? Thanks! I've just fixed up my HMM Dark Horn but i've got some questions: - What am i supposed to do with the spare parts? The instructions don't say much on it. - Is there a guide on how to make use on whatever spare parts i've got left? Thanks! Those are probably parts for the red horn. Instead of removing those extra parts from the mold (which would cost more), they just add new sprues for the dark horn parts. You can use those parts to make customs if you want. Same thing with the IK Shwartz kit, there were alot of extra parts but not enough to complete the rocket launcher. Hope this makes sense. All these ugly plastic marks.. is there a way to prevent it from happening? It happens regardless how sharp my blade is.. Well, you're not trimming as close to the surface as you could. The best way I've found to do it is to cut incrementally, several times, until you're all the way down. If you're careful, you can go quickly - just hold the blade parallel to the surface and scrape-scrape-scrape until it's gone. If you still have a discoloration, for some reason rubbing over it with your fingernail helps. I still don't understand why, but that works for me. You won't get every plastic to turn completely the same color - it works better with some material/colors than others. I've tried what you said before. They do work but it definitely isn't working on the dibison I'm working on. I use a nail filer/buffer 2 or 3-in-one for all of my flash grinding. Sometimes my jeans (though it burns a little xD). I use the smooth filer then buff to make it less obvious (though it may make the plastic a little shiny but not too obvious if you do it right). Great. I'm 3/4 done and I tried putting in a battery, it isn't working...... Dibison's motor likes to go dormant when not in use, (two of mine did that.) Try leaving the battery in the motor with the switch on for while. It took one 5 minutes and other maybe a hour to come to life. Make sure you don't have the legs attached when you do this. If it still doesn't move, you could try physically moving/rotating the arms sticking out of motor, ( I did this with a Shield Liger). Hopes it help. I clip away from the part, so it doesn't bruise the plastic, then i clip it a little closer with sprue cutter (like sharpened wire cutters, they cut instead of crushing) then i take surgical scalpels and slice off the last tiny bit of sprue. Sometimes, if I push, instead of slice with the blade, it will bruise anyways. . . So slicing is important. Sanding works great too, but on some things it's not an option, like mirage blade liger, and some darker plastics i don't like doing it because i can tell where I sanded, and where I didn't, no matter how much I buff it out. But if sanding the entire piece is an option, I like the flat look it gets after a good thurough sanding. My poor hasbro Dibison's motor is pretty dormant too; I heard about the method of leaving the battery in so I'll try that and fiddle around and see if that works for me then give some tips for ya. As for sprue trimming I've always used a pair of small nail clippers to clip as close as possible to the quick of the flash; then I scratch at the mark if it's still really visible with my fingernail. I'll get back to you about that motor.

Yeah I'll second that needing advice on getting some motors running again. I have tried that leaving them on with batteries in on Zoids in the past and it sometimes works. For some reason one I had worked again by turning it on and off several times, letting it sit, and trying again. Alas that isn't working now. EDIT Of course after I posted this, and fiddled around some more, I got some working! Aside from letting them sit a while, you can manually turn the motor at whatever limb connection point there is. This is easier on some Zoids than others. Also be careful not to put too much force to it and break things... Still, 2 more Zoids going that weren't before! Thanks guys. 1. Is there any proper blade/knife/scalpel to recommend for cutting these plastics? 2. I left my Dibison on for 10mins, it started moving again. Hopefully it stays like this. At first i didnt like battery operated toys because they always get ruined from battery leakage, now, i have another thing to worry about it being dormant. Thanks guys. 1. Is there any proper blade/knife/scalpel to recommend for cutting these plastics? I think standard is craft blades like exacto knives. But I have scalpels on hand all the time, so i use them. Havel's #22 blades. I find they are sharper than craft blades, though I also think they may go a bit duller a bit faster. I get the stainless steel one, but they also have carbon ones, that I think stay sharper longer. I never got the carbon ones because I used them for skinning animals and the carbon ones rust easier, but for models, they shouldn't be getting wet so they should be fine. There's also plastic cutters that are sold in hobby stores and online. They're like wire cutters, but much much sharper, and pointed at the end. X-acto knives are usually what people recommend. I just use a standard carpet knife because I find X-acto knives really difficult to get a good grip on (They are very thin/tiny), so I don't feel quite as safe with them. Regardless of knife though, I am pretty sure you will get marks on the plastic. The only choice is to try to touch them up with paint. Sometimes gundam markers can work ok on dark/black plastics. I'd start with a dark gray instead of black for Dibison. Unfortunately with motorized kits you can count on many not working. These are very old toys that have not been produced in ears, and it is very common to buy kits with non-functioning motors. Even those that do not come with batteries (I think only the European/American ones had batteries in them MIB?) Well bad news with my poor Dibison. I put the batteries in and did a bit of tinkering around then just left him sans legs sitting beside me at my desk. I picked him up just to tinker a bit more and adjust a few things and everything around the motor was SUPER hot. I immediately removed the battery which was piping hot and felt around the motor compartment. Everything was just emitting heat and thankfully nothing melted. I'm going to safely say that this motor is no longer functional haha. Which is fine! Dibison is one of my favorite Zoids and I never keep batteries in them anyway; I just do enjoy it when their motors work. I have been wanting to pick up a Dibison with the metal horns and hooves anyway so maybe I can get lucky and come up with a motor that works on that one. Has anyone had THAT happen before? I was surprised at how hot these motors can get. (I think only the European/American ones had batteries in them MIB?) Not exactly, almost any Zoid that uses LR44 button batteries has them already fitted in the box - but the Japanese ones have plastic inserts to separate the battery from the contacts. The US ones didn't, and so the MIB kits I opened had pre-corroded terminals. I didn't know any Zoids actually came with button batteries. All of mine seem to use Double A or Triple A. Always good to know though. Off the top of my head - Merda TS, Barigator TS, Tiga Godos, Cannon Spider, Missile Tortoise, Ray Kong, Ray Saurer, Brachiotortoise and others of that ilk were all packaged with button batteries. I think the Bio Zoids too, but I don't collect them. The worst case scenario is the Cannon Spider because it never got a Japanese release so all the unopened ones in the world are probably corroded by now. Good news is the sound box is shared with missile tortoise, so it can always be swapped with a properly protected Japanese one from the Brachio set. Yeah all the Bio Zoids have Button Batteries, bar Bio Raptor and Bio Raptor Gui. Can someone tell me which zoids lines had silver chrome pilots and which had gold? OJR, OER, Robo Strux, Zoids 2, Techno Zoids, RCZ and all of the ZGM reissues. Gold was for republic/blue and silver was for empire/red. Guylos had dark silver chrome. The NJR, Fuzors, Genesis, Generations and Originals do not have chrome pilots, with the exception of NJR Salamander which was kind of a tribute to the OJR. So, I am interested in the Hasbro's Black Energy Liger. Does anyone know if it comes with batteries or not? I don't wanna spend a 100bucks on it and find a pre-corroded terminal.. Most motorizeds that doesn't use button cells don't have pre-installed batteries... I think the Hasbro one actually does come with batteries. I don't believe the Fuzors black E Liger does though, and is the same aside from a couple extra connection pieces. Your inbox is Hanyoutai. D: My inbox yearns for more space- *Has so many he can't delete* There should be space now~ Neither my NJR nor my Hasbro Energy Liger came with batteries. Only zoids I can think of that came with batteries was those button cells found in the Hasbro blox/ Z-builders like Ray Saurer, Cannon Spider, Gorilla Tron... Does CP-13 Wild Weasel Unit fit on Mirage fox? Yes it does, looks a bit weird but it fits. Ok maybe i'll see if i can put it up on the dibison instead. I think I heard once that small Zoids like Gun Tiger/Snipe Master/etc (not sure if those are right, but still) were referred to as 'SS' Zoids. Is this just in relation to the size/is it true? Or does it stand for something in particular? I think I heard once that small Zoids like Gun Tiger/Snipe Master/etc (not sure if those are right, but still) were referred to as 'SS' Zoids. Although they call "Super Small Zoids", but some of them is not small, 1 or 2 are almost the size as "White Head". From what I think, "SS Zoids" is a line of small size Zoids without wind-up motor, and some moveable joints. Also, "I feel" they are the test shot/trail of Blox series. All the SS Zoids- (those I'm sure) EZ - 047 Maccurtis EZ - 048 Demantis EZ - 050 Diloforce EZ - 051 Grounchar RZ - 058 Megaleon EZ - 059 Glaive Quama EZ - 061 Killer Dome RZ - 062 Saberlion EZ - 063 Gun Tiger Beside Killer Dome, the purpose is combine with Dark Spiner, all of them just like a action figure, moving their legs and making pose etc. I think I heard once that small Zoids like Gun Tiger/Snipe Master/etc (not sure if those are right, but still) were referred to as 'SS' Zoids. Is there such a thing as fake/pirated zoids? I see a Mad Thunder on my local ebay for below 200. Whereas the others cost 300-400. Just wondering if there could be anything wrong with it :S ^ There are bootlegs that are obvious. And then there are companies that copy HMMs pretty closely but I don't believe there's a fake Mad T. Someone please correct if they know otherwise.

Very, very few motorized kits are fake. I have also never seen 'fake' ones that were not cast in exceptionally obnoxious/different colors, so I think it would be safe to bid on this Mad Thunder. Every now and then you get lucky and find Zoids for below-market prices~ Koto bootlegs are also almost always clearly marked by the logos (usually BT or STK) on the box. There was a mad thunder on there the other day that sold for about $60. It's not unusual for them to be low. Yup! I got my built Madthunder sans box cheap! Only $51 or so! It can happen. Wow, 50-60 bucks? USD? The one i'm looking at is MIB. I know there are bootlegs around, but what I meant when i said fake.. box displays Tomy n everything is copied, just that it's a fake product. I'm desperately looking for the hmm boxed cp for the zero and bf, I use fromjapan but haven't seen any on there for a while and does anyone know where else I can possible find them without paying eBay prices If the box and everything was the same then you probably wouldn't be able to tell anyway. I still think it is extremely unlikely that it is fake, though. Empirewolf, try Rakuten or Mandarake. I looked at mandrake already, I'll have to try the other Thanks Hanyoutai. Another question: How many versions of Zillon are there? I tried to check on the zoid wiki but i can't find any info on Zillon. 4. OJR, OER, NJR and limited Guylos version. Sounds like what iguan has. So the older ones (OER) were called Zillon, and the newer ones became Iguan? No, the Japanese ones were called Iguan, and the European one was called Zillon. OJR and OER were from the same era more or less, just different continents. Thanks Darwock. - Anyone has any idea how much a Zillon would cost? - TDP DeadBorder, does this version glow in the dark? Or requires ultraviolet light? I noticed in some of the games there are white, green-eyed sabers named Tiger Drivers (I think?). They also have their own logo. Was this a unit in the battle story or something? Thanks Darwock. - Anyone has any idea how much a Zillon would cost? - TDP DeadBorder, does this version glow in the dark? Or requires ultraviolet light? I don't think anyone can really tell you how much for a Zillon. It is a vintage Zoids and it is not very common on ebay. For TDP DeadBorder, it will still glow in the dark, but not strong as the OJR one. I noticed in some of the games there are white, green-eyed sabers named Tiger Drivers (I think?). They also have their own logo. Was this a unit in the battle story or something? I didn't remember any White, green eyed sabers in battle story(or some how I totally miss it?). I'm really interested which game you saw this White saber. Can you tell us a title or where you see it? For now, I'm guessing- -one of the Gameboy color's Zoids game -the very first Zoids Saga (since it got bunch of odd re-color version of Zoids) -just a in game re-color by some player(like Zoids Saga DS and Zoids VS III) It is in the Zoids VS. series. I know it appears in III as its own variation but I seem to recall it also being in Battle Legends and such. In Battle Legends I don't believe it has the logo on the shoulder but I could be wrong. I figured it'd be battle story since the other random variation Zoids that are listed, are often from there (Blade Liger KS = Kei Special, Lightning Saix BS = Barratt Special). Just in case, you're not talking about Proto Saber, do you? Link Nope, I'm talking about this Zoid. I believe in Battle Legends it was noted as "Tiger Driver's Zoid" under the abbreviation "Saber Tiger TD". I did a little more research, it seem this one is call the Saber Tiger TD. Like you said, this is for a group call Tiger Drivers/Tiger Pilots use version, people guess this Tiger Drivers/Tiger Pilots is something like Leo Master. Saber Tiger TD is not in the battle story(yet?), their first appear is in Zoids VS II/Zoids Battle Legend. Sounds like it could be a team from NCZ or something, but I guess people would have noticed if that was the case. There is actually one available on YJ right now, currently at a low price, but I wouldn't expect it to stay below $100. I would recommend bidding on it if you have the money, I honestly can't recall seeing another in the last 1-3 months. I would not say it is impossible by any means, but it will likely be expensive, and require patience to find another. I also highly recommend a glimpse at Darwock's Gosuko Myokou review to get an idea of what quality to expect and the amount of work that resin kits can be.

Argh! I'm gonna have to figure out how to bid on yahoo Japan, and fast. Dx I really want it. I didn't really want liger souga until I realized that it had CAS like that. Can someone link me to something that helps me figure out how to bid on YJ? I have an article on it here, complete with a list of reliable stores and services. If you have any further questions feel free to ask! Ok so on Japanmart how do I find that item? I've tried searching a lot of things but I think it wants me to search in Japanese... Is that the trick? lol OR can I somehow give the site the link to the item to find it? Or? Personally I've used Celga, so I'm not sure how Japamart works, but you can look up the item on their site by going to the 'Yahoo Japan ID search' (left side menu) and put in the ID, which is d151891643 You go to the search bar on the left of the main site then type in what you want (in English), then it should give you a list of links, click on it and it will take you to YJA to look. It shouldn't be that difficult .-. I might as well make a little quickie tutorial so it doesn't have to be constantly asked... I use that site a lot. I don't mind xD Might make a feature on my website for it. Also, Hanyoutai, Japamart now have a longer holding period of 4-6 weeks (probably 5 at the most) It used to be 2 weeks. Yeah I've tried, but when I search for something specific, it gives 0 results. Even when I searched for things that I knew existed on there. lol. But I browsed through the pages in the 'zoids' category, and found the listing for the armor, so I'm good now, lol. I think I'm figuring this out. @-@ Personally I've used Celga, so I'm not sure how Japamart works, but you can look up the item on their site by going to the 'Yahoo Japan ID search' (left side menu) and put in the ID, which is d151891643 Aha. ID search! Thanks for the info~ That article is fairly recent, I wonder if they just took a long time to update the site? I'll be sure to ammend it though~ You can't search the actual name of the CAS or the Zoid it belongs to because that is not how most people identify their auctions (instead putting Japanese titles which a lot of searches like Japamart, Celga, Rinkya, etc., will not translate properly to get results). No probs~ I have written up information for Middleman Services on my site, I probably rambled a bit there. But if people needed a quick how-to, just pop straight down to the bottom of the page for the quickie tuts- Deathy's page about Japamart. I don't explain well xD But I do hope it does help somehow for people who wish to buy from Japamart. I only did one quick explanation, it is pretty late night here xD But if people wish, I can make more quick explanations. What material are zoids one blox made from? I just bought one and it seems rubbery and flexible. I want to make sure it's not a knock off, lol. Since I've never had one, I don't know what they should be made out of, but I thought they would be solid hard plastic or resin since they need to be painted. All of the One BLOX are in that funky material, so no worries about it being a fake~ Okay I just wanted to make sure, lol. It is a real funky material. Has the MSS Zoids line officially ended??? We haven't heard any news about new kits since the Command Wolf. Is this going the same way as Zoids Original??? We can't say it's official under there is an official statement, but indeed there has been no news and the finished Salamander that was at the last Wonderfest did not show up at this one. MSS was never announced as a 30th anniversary only kind of deal, plus the Salamander was already heavily previewed, so if this line has ended pre-Salamander its a much bigger failure than Original was (technically that line was also cut by one but we were never shown what it would be so it hurts less, I guess). If you take ZP as a cross section of worldwide fans, it wouldn't surprise me if MSS failed. Very few of our own members bought into the MSS line. I guess this is the place to ask, has anyone ever ordered off the mandarake website? I really want to buy this, though I think it is storefront only....meaning I can't have it shipped. Just wanted to ask if there was a way. I really regret not buying it when I could T.T lol ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/item_s-1241535.html There are a few storm fury sets on yahoo japan, i think i found 3 or 4 when i was browsing yesterday. o: My deposit on Japanmart still hasn't gone through... I'm starting to worry. :/ 9,000 yen is a lot to pay for a Sturm unit. The most they usually go for is 5,500. That said, you can buy store front items but they are marked as such because anyone can walk in at any time and purchase that item in person before your order goes through. In this case your order will be cancelled/refunded. Rhasputin, what method of payment did you use? Maybe it did not go through because of bank transfer delays. Hanyoutai- I know.....but I will find one someday Rhas- what ya buy now? There are a few storm fury sets on yahoo japan, i think i found 3 or 4 when i was browsing yesterday. o: My deposit on Japanmart still hasn't gone through... I'm starting to worry. :/ It should have gone through very quickly. Did you ensure your names and addresses match? If you didn't use Paypal, I recommend you do if you want deposits to show up immediately. Japamart will e-mail you if it bounces back and tell you why. If you take ZP as a cross section of worldwide fans, it wouldn't surprise me if MSS failed. Very few of our own members bought into the MSS line. The MSS line is nice enough, but are overpriced for what they are...which is most likely the reason they haven't done that well. Hellbound Crow I don't know why that particular SU was so expensive, all the other Storm Units on Mandarake have been around 6,000 yen. So if you don't want to fuss around with YJA, you might want to wait for another one to come up on Mandarake. Shouldn't take too long. I guess this is the place to ask, has anyone ever ordered off the mandarake website? I really want to buy this, though I think it is storefront only....meaning I can't have it shipped. Just a note, if you were to order multiple items from different branches, you'd be paying separate shipping, they don't combine everything. Thanks for this Hanyoutai. Yours and DarkDeathy's guides are super helpful. Thanks for this Hanyoutai. Yours and DarkDeathy's guides are super helpful. Can anyone give me an example of a purchase and what I might expect in fees for it? Like, if I buy one large zoid (like a liger in a box) for $50 what is an estimate of fees? Or if I buy a small zoid for $20 (command wolf in box?)? OR a tiny keychain for $5? Fees are not based on size, just on the final bidding price. If you're using Japamart, you would've found all the infos you need to know in the "Auction" window. Here it is, just scroll down to commissions, it's got all you need to know right there- japamart.com/yahoo_japan_auction.php Ah ok. For some reason I was thinking it had to do with size on top of other factors. While service fees (the $5-$10 usually) are based on the bid amount, you should try to do an estimation of final costs before buying from Yahoo Japan/other sites, since this can be expensive. A motorized Zoid like Liger Zero may end up $70 if you win the auction for only $20. Maybe even more. A command wolf won for a similar amount might only be a few bucks cheaper, at $60. A keychain you could probably get for $35-$40. These are very rough estimates and could be off, but it's just based on personal experience ordering from Celga. I use EMS shipping, and live in Washington State. I'll paste an example here from my CW RCG Purchase from TTM (yes they still have them if you're desperate for RCG's) just so you guys can see how it pans out from Japamart. I bought two RCG's. Item price US$54.04 Commission US$15.00 Shipping within Japan US$ 3.24 Bank fee US$2.00 Subtotal US$74.28 Transaction fee US$3.71 Final price US$77.99 That's just within Japan. I do not ship items individually to save on money, I try to bulk buy through JM then when I feel it's enough or I am nearing the 30 days limit, I ship everything down. No 'Goods' either. Basically it seems like they had bigger plans when they started it but everything fell short of expectations, so a lot of it got nixed. There are still a couple of updates due for the FSV though so we could still see the final movie. Sooooo I bought a d-style bloody death saurer, and the armor is brown instead of red. Are they all like that, or is mine a weird misprint? lol If they're all like this, I'm gonna paint it more red, but if it's odd, I don't want to paint over it. Here's a photo with the death saurer armor on the dark sprue, and a dark red sprue from a kotobukiya nine ball kit on top. . . The nineball red is pretty dark, and on top of the death saurer armor it looks like bright red. o-o Looks more like a dried bloody deathsaurer I don't think I'm allowed to say what it looks like.... XD If you got a standard Death Saurer and not a Bloody (because that is what the Bloody looks like. WAY darker than you'd expect) then I think that must be a funky misprint or bootleg. Mine is black. Got a picture of the box? STK and Dragon Momoko are the usual D-Style bootleg guys. Here's a review from Zoikino of the basic one: LinkYeah this is the bloody death saurer, it looks like an official box, I'm sure it's the real thing. But damn is it DARK! If they're all like that, I'll probably just re-paint it brighter. I don't remember mine being that dark...but I never took pictures of the original form and painted over it :/ Yeah, it is nothing like the box. Red is a difficult color to photograph so in most photos it actually turns out brighter than it really is. I was really stunned to see they were barely even red. Hopefully it'll be easy to repaint~ Yeah, the box art is probably painted + lighting. So if you want it more red, your gonna have to paint it. From Hobby Search: That's exactly what you got. That looks really dark... lemme find that pic I had of Bloody Deathy holding Baby Bloody Deathy's sprue... here it is~ The color of the original bloody death saurer (and at least your d-style one) is like the colour of the nine ball sprue that I have laying on top of my d-style sprue. @-@ I'll take it outside in a bit and get a photo in natural lighting too. It's really abnormally dark I think. xD At least it is a good base to paint a better red over. If I may suggest, iron man colors? Lol. Is this Chrome D-Style Blade Liger the official version or a bootleg? I only ask because I don't see any Kotobukiya logos; only TT logos. Also, how would one get a hold of the Republic and Imperial flying base nowadays??? my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbay&gbh=1 Pretty sure selling your soul is one of few ways... Leon, you have linked to the 'My eBay' page, not the item. Ah ok now Motor whipped's photo is showing up, looks just like mine. How dumb. xD Welp, guess iron man colours it is then!

Page 6 seems to be missing from the cache Haha, fear my stubborn resourcefulness! Oh man there must be a more efficient method than copy-pasting and manually fixing all the formatting D:Seems like a batch issue then, as Deathy's looks fine. With colours that dark there is zero point in there being two separate versions for sale, as you would need to paint them anyway! It says takara tomy on it, so it should be official. It's being sold as official, so if you find that it's not you get a full refund from ebay anyways, lol. Yeah, my Bloody Deathy was just as dark. It's good to know there are lighter ones out there, but kind of a gamble to shop around on them. That is an official Bladey (bootlegs for D-Styles almost always have a logo of the bootleg company. Never seen one that didn't) but as a warning they have absolute crap quality. Actually way worse than any of the bootlegs. The color layer comes off like it wasn't sealed properly or something. Chips everywhere, leaves silver marks, even on parts where you aren't cutting. This was a known issue before but I also found that mind had gotten splotchy dust stains on it that couldn't hardly be removed without damaging the color layer even more. Well....I just ordered both chrome versions with prepaid Visa gift cards...I plan on doing a review with them too... Going to need to be extra careful with these 2 then. Thanks for the tip The ones that are out on display in the koto shop are fine, no flaws in the chrome at all. I wonder if it depends on if you get the domestic Japanese versions or the overseas ones? I still need to get rid of the two that I was asked to buy for... well take a guess who... don't want to start that topic up again. Are they in a display case or something? Maybe it's just a matter of more carefully cutting, but I got chips in parts that I hadn't cut (like on the little square that goes over the canopy). I tried to be much more careful with the red Bladey after messing up the blue one, but it still got chipped quite a bit. Small flecks here and there. If it's a release question though, that is a good question to ask. I got the overseas ones that had the black Blade Liger sticker on the front. I believe mine are coming from Hong Kong but I wouldn't know if they were originally from Japan or not. I already have been crazy-google searching the best ways to cut parts off frames in preparation for these badies. Normally I just take my scissors and cut with the flat end parallel to the part. Now I see it would be much more effective to leave a bit more plastic on and slice the rest off with my blade for a cleaner cut. Can anyone tell me the rarity and some kind of monetary value on a Brachiotortoise new in sealed box, still plastic wrapped and everything? I'm thinking about building it but I don't want to ruin the value. Hmm honestly, I don't think it's worth much more than 40-50 USD at the most. It's not a particularly popular zoid, so the demand isn't that high, and while it is uncommon, it's not exactly rare either. If I were you I would just build it XD The only reason I ask is because I can't seem to find any for sale, except for one on ebay that's listed as $114 or so and I felt like that was high for them. The only reason I ask is because I can't seem to find any for sale, except for one on ebay that's listed as $114 or so and I felt like that was high for them. Yeah haha, I saw the exact same one, but I think it's just a weird exception, you know the stupid prices people ask for zoids these days. Also.. as of now I am an energy liger.. I'd like to thank my cat and my pet glaive quama. The ones that are out on display in the koto shop are fine, no flaws in the chrome at all. I wonder if it depends on if you get the domestic Japanese versions or the overseas ones? I still need to get rid of the two that I was asked to buy for... well take a guess who... don't want to start that topic up again. I have a Japanese and overseas red one (and a Japanese blue one). The chrome was horrid on both from my minimal inspection, but I can check again--though I remember reviews of others who got the Japanese ones and found the color layer of paint flaky, so I don't think it's just me. Clearcoating it again may help, which reminds me I still need to test Future. Vallejo gloss acrylic clearcoat helped my test piece a lot, but I'm not confident in my ability to apply it neatly enough by brush to preserve the sleek look. Future should spread/hide brush strokes better, from what I hear... I get home tomorrow tonight. First i am going to do some light cutting to the frames of the spurs to see what I am up against. Then I have to see what Clear Coat I have; it has been almost 2 years since I last used my paints (the last ZPCC) so I need to check. Thanks for the idea Tilly How do I check if the models were from Hong Kong or Japan? The overseas versions had large black Blade Liger stickers on the lower left of the box, above the text. The Japan ones I believe have the box shown in the auction ID. I found a KZ-02 King of Flexible Mobile Berserk Fuhrer (which is one of my grail items) on yahoo japan auctions and the current bid is 100 yen.... Thats about $0.98 USD right? Can this be right? Granted there is a few days left on the time. I've never messed with yahoo japan auctions so any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks guys Google up a currency exchange site and you can find out anytime from there. But that sounds about right. Yep. it is safe to say that each 100 yen is 100 cent in US, or $1. So 1000 is about $10. Link arrrrrrrrrg! Such a good deal. The KFM Zoids frequently go for $50 or less, although Fury is harder to come by. Got my two ligers for $15 and $40 before fees, and my Panzer came in a lot for $90 (which also included x3 Soul Tiger, x2 Reissue Zeek Dober, x5 Blitz Haken, and a couple Genesis CPs) Hanyoutai where did you get them that cheap? YJA? Cause on ebay the ligers go for around $100 Yeah, they are pretty cheap on YJ. You have to account for shipping fees that are gonna jack up the price, but they are still cheaper than Ebay. KFM Berserk Führer: Currently at 710 Yen KFM Berserk Fhrer: Currently at 1 Yen KFM Liger Zero: Currently at 2,565 Yen KFM Liger Zero DX Playset: Currently at 5,980 (includes liger and all armors) The 2.5k Zero is pretty good deal and you can occasionally find them for cheaper. Thanks for finding these for me Hanyoutai, really appreciate it. Yeah I'm no stranger to the fees unfortunately haha I usually use Jauce.com which is all in english. Can I ask you how you found them? When I type in specifics into yhj I usually get nothing.... I usually have to type in simply "Zoids" and skim through all the pages Usually you need to have a Japanese search term. The Zoids Wiki is a great place to look up the Japanese names of things, then you can just copy/paste it into the search term. The text to find Zoids KFM models is the kanji writing below. Copy/paste it into the box and it should bring up all properly labeled KFM kits. ah awesome. thanks so much for the help The overseas versions had large black Blade Liger stickers on the lower left of the box, above the text. The Japan ones I believe have the box shown in the auction ID. I received my Red Blade Liger; it has the black "Overseas Exclusive" label on it (even though the auction does not display that label but whatever). The kit is definitely paint scratch prone, but I ran into no serious problems with quality other than that. I made it a point to be extremely careful when cutting off the spurs. I am still waiting on my Blue Chrome Bladey to arrive. Then I will post my review would someone tell to me all Leo Master zoids? im planning to collect them all. Leomaster is an honorary title, and not so much a faction. You could technically count any Liger/Lion type Zoid as a Leomaster Zoid. The title was given to skilled pilots of these types, but in order to gain the title you had to have piloted a Shield Liger DCS-J at some point. Even if you had mastered others you were not a true Leomaster until you had done this, making the DCS-J a sort of honorary mascot. Some model kits come with Leomaster stickers (I think the Shieldy BLOX and maybe DCS-J do? Not sure on the others). would someone tell to me all Leo Master zoids? im planning to collect them all. Well it was a rank that was awarded to skilled pilots (kind of like being knighted) who specifically piloted liger/lion-types Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but as far as specific zoids the ones I know of are -Blade Liger AB -Liger Zero -Liger Zero Schneider -Liger Zero Panzer -Blade Liger Mirage -Infinity Leo any others? In terms of stickers it's only the Blade Liger Mirage and Shield Liger Blox that have the logo. DCS-J doesn't even though the logo is on the box. In Zoids VSII/Battle Legends for Gamecube, for whatever weird reason, the Shield Liger DCS-J is not a Zoid you can buy, yet it is split up into 2 new variants; one green and one red liger called LMA and LMB (Leomaster A and Leomaster B) Yeah not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but whatever, I'm wiring up my hasbro ultrasaurus with led lights in preparation for a gravity cannon, and while doing that i starting wondering whether or not to attempt making the neck able to lay horizontally, it turned about to be a tad more...annoying that i planned, anybody else ever attempted this? could use some tips or ideas You COULD go for the ball jointed approach... if you're willing to lose the motor driven motion of the neck and end up with a slightly longer neck. Bionicles joints are more commonly used but I think there are other things you can use. thats not a bad idea, thanks, im not worried about losing the neck motion, i dont know if its the paint or what, but none of my ultrasauruses neck motion works like it should anyway, seems like the mechanism is too weak What was the whole story behind the neo blox... did it have its own battle story? I know there were two new empire and republic, but did they ever even do anything with them? and how did the combinations like valkrie ceaser and the custom blox fit into it all? Oi! Has anyone on here ever done a secret santa? I've set one up on another forum before. . . You could send someone a kit, some cool parts they might need, a drawing, a sculpture, anything related to zoids. I could set one up towards the end of the year if anyone is interested in that. Wow, and its barely even March, lol. This is a very international forum, shipping costs would make it pretty expensive, plus our membership is constantly fluctuating... a lot of people come and go in the space of a year, can be regular posters one month and never heard from again the next - I don't think it would really work... Nice idea though. Yes that's true. We had this same problem on another forum that I did it on. For international problems, we paired people who lived in the same countried together (and it surprisingly worked perfectly!!) and for people who 'come and go' we only allowed members who had been active on the forum for 3 months or longer, AND had been active for at least the whole month of november (reasonably active) to participate. Some of those entries are absolutely fantastic! Anybody have any of the D-Style model kits? Would You recommend them? was thinkin of getting a D-style Gustav.. are they as cheap as a lot of people say they are I would recommend avoiding all D-Style Shield Liger and Blade Liger. Shield Liger holds together a bit better but both have serious problems keeping the feet and legs one. I also wasn't very impressed with the Death Saurer series. Gustav on the other hand is adorable. It comes with the little trailers and I've had no issue with shedding parts. If you're going to get a D-Style it's an excellent choice. The only way to know how cheap something is though, is to go looking for it. For those of us that don't live in Japan nothing is really "cheap" anymore due to shipping costs. I bought a knock-off blade liger, and it's completely useless. It absolutely shatters into all of it's individual pieces at the slightest bump, even after gluing!!! I can't imagine that the real thing holds together well, if the knock off doesn't. Usually the knock-offs fit TOO tightly, compared to the real thing. I've got all of the alternate color bootlegs, and they hold together the same or better than the original -- so if you're knock off is that bad, it might give you a pretty good idea of how bad the official one is. I definitely wouldn't say it is 'better', so if you ever plan to buy one for better quality, my advice is: Don't. Especially with the feet, because the double ball joint bar is not long enough to keep the armor from pushing them off when you turn the foot. More specifically, the d-style blade liger. I like the hmm knock offs, they seem okay, no real structural problems that aren't already on the real kits, imo. I only have the first two d-style releases, bladey and deathy, and I painted both, but they are holding together well. Still posable and not floppy, parts never pop off. Did production quality deteriorate? Or was I just lucky? I own both Chrome D-Style Blade Ligers, Deathsaurer, Shield Liger, and Ultrasaurus. Despite the bad reports my chrome Blade Ligers are holding up fine. The head design is horrible though; both times I couldn't get the head pieces to snap together all the way so it looks a bit stupid. My Deathy has one slightly loose joint but otherwise no complaints. From my experience the Shield Liger is leagues better and of higher quality than the Blade Liger. Keep in mind that I did build the non-standard Blade Ligers though. Ultrasaurus is my favorite so far. Obviously not extremely poseable bit it is sturdy and looks great. My Blade Liger review should be up by tonight so look for that. Thanks for the help guys. also another thing: I'm a HUGE fan of the KFM versions of L0 and BF. Until today, I was certain those were the only two KFM Zoids released by Tomy (besides the 3 CAS systems for the L0). However today I heard about a KFM Murasame Liger that was released as a contest prize or something... Is this true? and does anybody know where I can see pictures of this thing? This? That's a resin kit, I think Hanyoutai has one. I'd say you were just lucky, Darwock. As far as I'm aware I own all the Bladeys and got the blue one on pre-order when they first came out (for the special stand). They all have at least a couple problems. The feet stay on better for the chrome ones but that's just because the chrome doesn't allow as much room to move. @leon, the issue with the head not snapping together is probably because of the chrome. Chrome adds extra thickness and makes it exceptionally difficult to put parts together, especially when pegs are as small as on Kotobukiya kits. If you can get them apart without breaking you can probably trim the pegs (the chrome /and/ part of the peg itself, because the socket also has an extra layer of chrome) and it should go together better. ligerzero91, A promo image can be found from the UltraSaurus Red site, here. I honestly can't tell any difference between it and the kit, so wonder if that was just a mockup and the real thing is just a customization of the Liger Zero? Only one exists, so chances are it will never be seen for sale. The one Rhasputin posted is the Tateishi Store Resin kit, not the KFM.

I own these D-style: plain Blue blade Liger-not a bootleg, not chrome, Shield Liger, Ultrasaurus, Death Saurer-red/black color-not Bloody, and Command Wolf Irvine. By far, the two sturdiest are Shield Liger and Ultra. And the Ultra comes with parts to make either its regular cannons, or the Gravity Cannon, which is a huge plus, IMO. Oh and the Death Saurer is really sturdy too. My Blade Liger's feet and legs wanna fall off all the time, and the Command Wolf's head likes to come off its shoulders. I think cuteness wise my favorite is the Death Saurer...something about seeing such a fearsome zoid reduced to this little adorable kit=love. And of course the Ultra is awesome cause you get Gravity Cannon! Ok this is a really stupid question lol but this is the first forum I've ever been part of (proud that it is ZP) so here it goes: How do I post pictures in here? I understand how to use the "image" in brackets code but do I need to create an account with a photo sharing site like Photobucket or something in order to link the image? I know there is somewhere on ZP that explains all of this because I remember looking over it once before but I can't seem to find it! >_< I have a DeviantArt account can I use that? If not, is there any specific photo-sharing site that you guys would recommend? I've noticed that Photobucket hasn't worked once in a while for some of you guys... sorry for being a n00b I stopped using photobucket because they stopped allowing direct linking, but that is less relevant for just posting a picture. Imgur.com is a good site. You can use DA and just right click > Copy Image URL. Using a site like imgur for posting a lot of stuff would be more ideal than cluttering a DA gallery though. Also be aware that ZP can be fussy about the Image tag. It has to be IMG in either caps or non-caps *can't remember* or it won't work. I asked this same question once, here is something a member told me to do. It works, its free, it just takes a bit of patience to load though:"Go to tinypic.com/ upload your image. When it uploads and shows the different urls highlight and copy the one under 'direct link for layouts' Paste the url into your Zoidspoison message (make sure the image is resized and not HUGE when you do this) highlight the link and click on the 'image' button or alternatively just type the [image][/image] code out yourself for example: [image]insert your image url here[/image] Are all manuals, and parts numbers for a kit the same through each release? Fort example, is part A5 on a regular TOMY/Hasbro Command Wolf the same as Part A5 on a Command Wolf AC, Irvine, LC, etc? I am also worried that part designation not only varies between release but manufacturer as well (TOMY vs Hasbro, for example). Also, does anyone have scans for instructions for a TOMY/Hasbro Berserk Fury? Geno Breaker? How do you guys justify or explain your Zoids purchases to your parents/spouses/roommate? I just turned 23, graduated college, have a beautiful girlfriend, and got a good job so I'm living at home. Not that any of that matters, but I just thought I'd give a little bit of background to my situation. In the past 4 months I just recently got back into Zoids and I wouldn't say I'm like, out of control with my purchases by any means but I'm buying a few here and there. I don't go out and drink or smoke so I'm not really spending money at all. Part of me thinks I'm being silly messing with essentially toys but the other part of me immensely enjoys them and just thinks they're so cool. My dad kind of gives me *Watch your language!* for a lack of a better phrase at the "toys" slowly starting to build up in my room, and its almost slightly embarrassing for me, cause I can't really explain it to him. I feel like I almost have to hide my purchases from him and intercept my packages to avoid him saying something. Let me also say that my dad is awesome and my best friend, and is one of the kindest and most open-minded individuals I know. So we're comfortable kind of "calling each other out" for stuff. But yeah I was just kind of wondering how you guys deal with it or explain it to them Pretty much what you do too: underdeclaring the price and the number of purchases haha. Since im earning my own keep now before heading off to uni and i dont have much time left for social events due to 12 hour shifts, i spent the majority on zoids, but then again, i dont even spend much compared to the pros here ^^. My parents are more accepting of my hobby now surprisingly since the `growing out` phase of my toys is over and Im still into zoids. My room is a sectioned off part of an old livingroom, which the front door opens up to. Because this room is the only place they can go it bothers dad a lot that they're the first thing people see when they walk in. The room was previously owned by my uncle, who was ... Ugh. Nobody would touch this room with a 10 foot pole after he moved out because he left buckets of food that he had 'hidden' and then forgotten about. And I mean perishables. It gets way worse than that but I won't go into detail. I was the only person brave enough to clean it (and replace the floors. DON'T ASK.) and since it's no longr a health hazard they can tolerate a few robots, so in general I don't get much flack. That being said, dad likes the Zoids, he just doesn't like them being so 'right there'. It'll be less of a problem when I someday get decent display cases. He does have a fit over big boxes at the post office. Not because it's toys but because it's boxes from Japan and he's an extreme conspiracy theorist who is confident that we're gonna get flagged for terrorism over my Zoids. Ok, well, they may be war machines, BUT THEY'RE JUST LITTLE ONES. Mom on the other hand is head over heels in love with the Zoids. She thinks it's so cool that you can build a moving kit, so she likes the motorized ones especially. If she's sitting in here talking I often catch her tinkering with the ones that are out on the book cases to find all the moving parts and stuff. She's always asking who is who, and what types they are, too. My sister also loves the Zoids, but she can be a lot to deal with (she likes to steal the ones with movable jaws and make them sing horribly oldtimey songs) My mother used to be pretty opposed to my Zoids buying, that I too had to stealth my trades/buyings. Because it started as "10 Zoids only and that's it" agreement with my mother til I discovered there's WAAAAY more than what I've seen in my local stores. She eventually understood it's a hobby, still was a bit leery about it all til I started earning more money then she said it's fine. I always undeclare the prices and don't announce half of my purchases. I've moved out now and mum eventually found my vintage Zoids awesome. My room is the old living room. I am lucky enough to have the front door to myself. So any packages that come, I can easily grab. Lol. Once I move out, I should be in the clear.....so long as I get a new display case. I am using the old family china cabinet. Lol I ask my Dad, "would you RATHER me spend my time and money like you did when you were my age?" My dad, from the stories I here from his brothers and sisters, about when he was my age-24 years old- was a bit wild. he drank. A LOT. Got into lots of fights. And lots of nights in the local jail. He always shudders and says Nope. Keep the damned toys. My old room had been turned into the "zoids hanger". Shelves are literally wrapped around on all four walls, at various heights. There is a small twin size bed, if there is a guest. And all four video game consoles. So that room is a combo guest room/zoids hanger/game room. My bedroom is my bedroom. No zoids...yet:) would someone tell to me all Leo Master zoids? im planning to collect them all. I know I'm really late to post this, but I'm pretty sure only DCS-J pilots can be Leo Masters. Here's some relevant quotes from the Official Fan Books: "A crest in the shape of a lion and a shield. It was a crest only allowed for the "Leo Masters", seven chosen knights of the Republic Army High-Speed Combat Force." (Fan Book 2, p18) "The DCS-J was too hard to handle. In the end, production was discontinued at a mere 7 machines. But there were pilots who could handle these picky machines. They were high-speed Zoid specialists possessing the title of Leo Masters." (Fan Book 2, p72) Knight Veikern: "A man rumoured to be the next Leo Master after the death of Arthur Borgman." (Fan Book 3, p78) - implies that there can only be 7 Leo Masters at one time, but the title can be passed on. Winner Kid: "A high-speed combat pro who has handled every generation of Liger excluding the DCS-J." (Fan Book 3, p78) - note that Winner Kid is never referred to as a Leo Master. Also, each Leo Master's emblem has a different background colour. Red is Arthur Borgman, blue is Ray Gregg, purple is Ceres Ardoise, pink is Cicily Volta, and yellow, green and white are unknown. Red emblems were also included with the Blade Liger Mirage, which was piloted by Peter Eisop in the webcomic, and yellow emblems came with the Shield Liger Blox (whose only story information is that it was produced in limited numbers to test artificial Zoid Cores that would later be used in Blox). Some Japanese sites have rumours that yellow is for a certain "Colonel B. Freiheit" or that the next wave of the Battle Card Game would have included Leomasters Mizumo Tomi, Amy Ishikawa and Judge Lyre, but I haven't found anything official to support either suggestion. If you're looking for Zoids piloted by Leomasters, then apart from the obvious DCS-J, there's also Blade Liger/AB (Arthur Borgman), Blade Liger Mirage (Peter Eisop), Liger Zero Type-0/X/Phoenix/Falcon (Ray Gregg), Zero Panzer (Ceres Ardoise) and Zero Schneider (Cicily Volta). If you trust the rumours about wave 7 of the Battle Card Game, there would also have been Saberlion (Judge Lyre), Spark Liger (Amy Ishikawa) and Aqua Liger (Mizumo Tomi), but good luck finding models of those last two. As for Infinity Leo, I haven't heard anything about it being connected to Leomasters, and a Google search for Infinity Leo and Leomaster together (in Japanese) doesn't turn up any meaningful results. I haven't played through Infinity Fuzors yet, so I can't be sure, but I suspect someone just confused it with the Shield Liger Blox. If anyone knows more about this, please let me know (but don't cite the Zoids Wiki, it's already full of blatant lies about the Saga and VS stories/characters, among other things). Geno Breaker has 2 parts that go on the part of its tail. They are like movable vents I suppose. They are parts 52 and 53. Here is the manual for a visual. Step 17 www.hasbro.com/common/instruct/Zoids_Geno_Breaker.pdfNow, I know that these parts are numbered differently, but are they identical in shape and dimensions? I recently acquired a mostly in-tact Geno Breaker, and one of the few things it is missing is piece 52. I might have found someone who owns another piece 53, which is why I am asking if they are identical. Second question, how is the quality of the Shield Liger girl? I have been thinking of starting a small collection of figures...but I won't be buying anything over-sexualized or distasteful. My brother recently bought a Zero figure from Megaman/Rockman, and I already have a Gundam from RobotSpirits. I was thinking of getting a few Halo Spartans, the RWBY girls, the Kill La Kill Nendoroids, maybe some TTGL stuff, 0and the Shield Liger Girl in the distant future. How much does that figure usually go for? I think the quality of the Shield Liger girl is ok. The material is soft but the Shield Liger armor is super sparkly blue (it is also the Shield Liger girl that was in the Generations book which is a nice touch I never noticed before). The waist can be a little floppy but you get a stand for better posing which helps a lot. I've got a review here. This is the bone geno, but they use the same parts. The parts you're referring to are not identical. One is longer than the other. It is still possible to swap them, so yes, you could attach that other piece as a temporary fix but one will be uneven. The first pic shows them assigned to their proper places, then switched. Also, yes, I realize his tail is upside down! I checked my Geno Breaker, 52 is bigger than 53. So it looks like 52 and 53 both will fit on the bottom (in the photo, even though it's upside down so technically the top, lol) of the tail, but only one will fit on the top (bottom technically) Both can be attached to the other's sockets, but it will look uneven and not fit flush against the curve of that tail panel. Quick question, what is a reasonable price for a Bio Volcano nowadays? I have seen a few for ~$80 and that seems justifiable in my head but then again I am inexperienced. Also, do you guys have any recommended places to look (I don't really know of any others besides Amazon and eBay which are by no means dedicated hobby sites)? Go to Yahoo Japan Auctions too- I use this third party www.japamart.com/In that search function, simply type Zoids and it'll give you possible results to click on to browse. Typing individual names of Zoids won't work though, but browsing might throw you some other interesting things you'd like? If $80 includes shipping that is a good deal. I suspect on YJ you'll pay just as much. You may get it for $30-$50 on there, but after fees you might actually end up paying more than $80. I would expect around $8 domestic shipping, $2 banking fee, $5-$10 service fee, $30-$40 international shipping on the single item. They do not go quite so cheap as other Zoids in YJ. Here's one currently at $20 which I suspect would end up in the $65-$80 range after fees. I didn't realize there would be so many fees involved, seems like it'd be viable in a pinch but international shipping drove my last order up ~$52 so I don't want a repeat of that so soon xD I know a couple people have been mentioning Jauce lately. How is your experience? Has anyone received their items / can confirm the good business? Any complications? I noticed that, in past years, this forum held diorama contests and photo contests but hasn't done so recently. Is there any plan to hold one soon? They sound really fun! And if anyone wants to hold another avatar and signature contest, I'd be very interested!

Hanyoutai I've been using Jauce for a few months now and I think it's great. I just recently got my first haul from them and there were no complications whatsoever. They make everything really easy, a couple times I had questions I'd email a rep and they'd get right back to me. Even the international shipping was relatively fast. What's more is all your packages are insured which was cool. I'm a big advocate of Jauce Any of you guys have the Tomy "QuickKits"? Are they cool or just cheap and not worth it..? Found a cheap Murasame but idk if I should get it They're neat, I have the soul tiger, I want the other 2. They're really crummy as far as quality goes, but that's the definition of 'quick kit'. I think the whole kit comes on 1 or 2 sprues. The box is smaller than a piece of notebook paper. I was surprised how small it was. The kit is bigger than 1/144 scale but smaller than 1/72 scale. The legs are each 2 pieces that just snap together, one for the inside of the leg, and one for the outside. They need a lot of work to look any good, but they are really cool little doodads. I'd love to get the murasame if you're not getting it, lol. I think I got my soul tiger for $10 shipped. Can anyone tell me what 'zoids zupreme' is? Is that the electric ligers with the lights and sounds? Yep Rhas thats them. Made by Hasbro, 1/52 scale (I believe). They only released 3: Liger Zero, Midnight L0, and Command Wolf Ok cleaning question. What do you all recommend to use for cleaning the chrome on zoids kits? Is there anything that polishes it nicely? Also anyone have any tips on sanding/polishing regular kits that have minor scratches in them? Thanks. Don't use plastic polish on Zoids 2 chrome. I did with my Slither and it wiped the chrome right off like paint stripper. In fact I'd say better not to polish it at all. I think later chromed Zoids were done better, but I don't know for sure. Yep Rhas thats them. Made by Hasbro, 1/52 scale (I believe). They only released 3: Liger Zero, Midnight L0, and Command Wolf I've also seen a clear liger 0 . I found an auction claiming to have the elephander, and the berserk fury from the supreme line. They are in a shipping box, unopened, so there is no way to actually tell if they are in there or not.... He's selling it as sealed in shipping container. Yeah I saw that, for $225... Idk I've never heard of the BF or Elephander Supremes.... The electronic supreme is not a kit, it comes pre-built and is more of an oversized action figure, there's no real assembly. I've never seen either one of those in electronic supreme version. I don't get why he doesn't just open the outer box lol but oh well. Definitely a gamble. Maybe somebody else on here will know for sure And I'm pretty sure there's no clear Liger 0 in the electronic supreme line..... if you have a pic show me Or is this the smaller action figure? Or is this the smaller action figure? Yeah that's the smaller holotech one seen here (kinda want one) www.figurerealm.com/actionfigure.php?FID=37458&figure=ligerzeroholotechI'd be careful with that ebay listing Rhas, it's always risky when you can't see the actual product. My best bet is that they're just 2 Hasbro model kits of the Elephander and BF, and the seller either titled it wrong or just doesn't know what they're talking about. I think back when Hasbro shipped Zoids by the case they were called like...supreme/ultra/etc assortments and such? Something like that. Could be a reference to that. I buy from Ali express. Most of the kits on there are knock offs. They are usually sold as knock offs though. I purposefully buy the knock offs for customizing purposes. They are a good site, they hold the money until they confirm that you received the package so that you cannot get scammed. If you want a knock off, it's a good site They are pretty legit looking, but putting them together can be a challenge. I often have to widen holes and clip off pegs and use glue to get them to go together. I would dfinity not get one for your first hmm zoid. However, I have built buster tortoise and cannon tortoise hmm zoids, fm Kotobukiya, and both have the same errors as the rip off kits. So that's interesting. I highly refine the lightening said or shadow fox/fire fox for.your first hmm. They go together really we'll and don't have any of the structural problems of the larger kits. For those that have worked with Hobby Search do they do payment confirmations? I got to the "Thank you for paying!" screen, but I have not received a payment confirmation E-mail and there's no status or anything on my on-site order saying if it was paid or not. I'm a little worried about if it went through correctly. I haven't shopped with them for a while(because of amiami). I honestly don't remember, but I do know their customer service is much better than ami or hlj. Just contact them to confirm it. For those that have worked with Hobby Search do they do payment confirmations? I got to the "Thank you for paying!" screen, but I have not received a payment confirmation E-mail and there's no status or anything on my on-site order saying if it was paid or not. I'm a little worried about if it went through correctly. Hey Hanyoutai, I purchased several Zoids from Ho33y Search and I received a "Thank You Very Much For Your Payment" email as a receipt for my pre-order. However, for the other two I just got Order confirmations and nothing else. It usually will say something like Payment Confirmed or Pending Shipping in the account settings if it went through correctly. Does anybody know what Gashapons come with the TOMY Hover Cargo? I know for sure it's a Liger Zero, Gun Sniper, and Raynos.... but does anybody know the 4th one? Is it a Command Wolf? If so, is it a blue Brad Command Wolf? so is that a yes?! thats a command wolf right lol my eyes aren't deceiving me? sorry too early in the morning here Yes!

Welcome! I almost want to buy a NIB hover cargo to get the mini figures out of it. I've had 2 second hand ones so far, and none of the mini figures (I have liger 0 gashas though) I love the ones that came with my dragoonest. They're a little different than gashapons, but i love them. Considering I've seen the berserk fury gashapon go for $40 on it's own, I'd rather pay $90 and get the whole dragoonest playset!!! I remember having the Hasbro Hovercargo as a kid...it came with a Shield Liger and Dibison. No idea what happened to it. Now that I have a few gachapons I really want another play set... Yup, Hasbro HC comes w/ Dibison and Shieldy. Tomy HC w/ Liger Zero, Gun Sniper, Raynos and Ballad Command Wolf. Pretty awesome little play set, IMO. Always wanted the Fuhrer gashapon, just not enough to buy the Dragoon Nest though Thanks for the help guys. Yeah I agree, all the 'transport' playsets are really cool if you ask me. I've just always wanted the Tomy Hover Cargo cause NCZ was my favorite. @rhas: Look on YHJ/Jauce, I just got one last week MIB for 1,000 Yen (About $10) Leon35: Same thing happened to me. I was indifferent about them at first, but now that I have a little gashapon army (steadily growing) I really wanted one. vishus: There are actually two versions of the BF gashapon. One that comes with the Dragoon Nest and one that comes in Set #4. I bought the one from the Dragoon Nest individually. If you ask me, the one that comes with gashapon Set #4 is way better. The one I have has weird paint inconsistency (and so does the one Rhas has, also from a Dragoon Nest). The one from Set #4 has better detailing, with red (which mine doesn't have), and it also comes with 2 egg-beater things (forgot the name); one set is back, the other set is in attack mode. I'm not sure if the one with the Dragoon Nest comes with both of those options, but mine didn't, they're just back. Hi all, I have been lost for almost 6 years now. Anyone knows where's the best place for Zoids these days? I have been to CSC but the good old days are gone. I still remember the shop at the basement of Excelsior Hotel too, now trying to look for the 3 sets of Liger Zero, any good recommendations? Thanks. Not really an inquiry... BUT.... THE NEXT ZOIDS ORIGINAL LINE SHOULD HAVE A PSYCHO GENOSAURER IN IT.... JUST SAYING. Thanks. Not sure how out of the game you are...but quite a lot has happened. HMM has taken off. At the risk of sounding biased as hell, Zoids is probably one of their best selling lines for Koto Japan, and is now an equal to the MG Gundam Kits. After releasing Gojulas, their most expensive and highly detailed kit, HMM is on break, and Z-Knights is getting an HMM treatment. The 30th birthday for Zoids just passed; we got some old motorized kits with new weapons called Zoids Original, a new line in 1/144 called MSS, and a very brief manga. Overall pretty weak compared to the 25th birthday but it was something. You might also have luck finding some South Korean Zoid re-issues (that may have been from '11). Depending on where you live, hobby and anime stores are your best bets. Here in the US I only find imported Koto Zoids. All motorized and blox are long gone, and I haven't seen MSS or Original anywhere. Tl;dr: no where. Check local hobby shops, anime stores, yard sales, and maybe get lucky. Or bite the bullet and order online. As you may be able to tell, Zoidspoison has also lost it's tight Singapore focus. I assume that's what you're asking based on the store names you mention. I'm not sure who is currently the most active member that could answer your question. Doc doesn't post anymore. Thanks. Hey miracle, welcome back I would say if you are looking for HMMs, check out either Lets Play at sunshine plaza or TFH, though Lets play has a wider range of HMMs available since TFH only does pre-orders and only have stock on whatever thats left. Should be convenient since they are both around the bugis area. The guy at robo robo(Excelsior Hotel) has stopped importing limited zoids for a long time now and focuses more on the TF line. Also do visit taka since they are selling the Zoids Original line, which reminds me that the Storm Sworder should be out by now. They do have sales for the zoids once in a while (SGD$60 for Geno Ritter!) so do check up on Taka more often. Not really an inquiry... BUT.... THE NEXT ZOIDS ORIGINAL LINE SHOULD HAVE A PSYCHO GENOSAURER IN IT.... JUST SAYING. I think that would have been more likely with the CC 10th anniversary a few years ago. I was hoping for it to be released and thought it had a real chance of happening( hey, it only required a few new parts) but alas, it didnt happen ice newb question for ya', what is TFH (Taka)? I'm sort of interested in seeing that Geno Ritter deal. Alright so HMM noob here, bare with me. I've never purchased/built and HMM Zoid. Part of me wants to try my hand with an HMM Liger Zero, and if I go through with purchasing an HMM it will only be a Liger Zero (at least at first). My question is, if I decide to go through with it, what exactly would I need? For example, a sprue-cutter? an exacto-blade? I literally just have no idea. I'm not even gunna try to paint him so don't worry about that. But like what are some of your guys' essentials when building an HMM? I just use a pair of wire cutters/sprue cutters and a knife (users choice, really.) I personally find x-acto knives to be too small/delicate for me to handle safely, because I don't have a good enough grip. If you've got small hands they might work much better. I would also recommend glue for those parts that won't stay on. Thankfully Zero doesn't have too many. However, as a word of warning, after your Zero is built make sure you can take apart the torso BEFORE gluing anything. I've had an issue where in time some parts may loose up causing the Zero's back to buckle (I've had this in all 5 of my Zeros). It is a simple fix where you just take off the two side parts of the torso, open it up, and tighten the part around that sliding PC/rubber part. However, if you glue the main body you may end up unable to do this, and be stuck with a floppy Zero later! Actually that word of advice can go for anything you glue. Make sure that it doesn't impair your ability to do maintenance later on. I build mine straight out of the box and I just use some sprue cutters. That's all, haha xD Also, yes. You will need glue. Seems like there's always at least one part that needs to be glued to stay on! Guys may i ask a question? is the njr dark horn glows in the dark like ojr version of it? For the gashapons.... anyone know the names of the Z-Knights? are any more rare than the others? I know there there were a total of 5 or 6 Z-Knight gashapons released with the gashapons (Set 6-11?) as "secret figures" I know Marine Kaiser was one? Eagle Head or something? uhh someone help me out Ok, those of you who own a Zrk... On mine the place where the neck meets the body was broken. I glue it back together but the neck does not want to stay in place. Aside from gluing the whole neck in place, is there any way to make it a more solid attachment? Otherwise I have just been trying to get a new motor. Awesome, thank you Gojulas Omega On mine the place where the neck meets the body was broken. I glue it back together but the neck does not want to stay in place. Aside from gluing the whole neck in place, is there any way to make it a more solid attachment? Otherwise I have just been trying to get a new motor. I see, if not the peg part is broken, it is ok you only glue the part #22 to that grey part and make the whole neck to fall down. Or, try to put a layer of super glue/crazy glue inside that grey part(where the part #22 will put in). When it is completely dry, it should be more tight, hope it will hold the neck. If you don't want to damage the parts, try to take it out, put a lot of "white glue"(that used in school for art and craft). Then put the part #22 into it and let it dry. When it completely dry, it will have a soft plastic like layer around it. Hope it is strong enough to hold the neck, and if it is fail or you don't like it, you can easily cleaning the glue out. The very last and easiest way, just buy another motor. Beside Giant Zrk/Bigasaurus, Mammoth and Gordos/Gordosaurus are also using the same motor. (In the very worse case, in your up coming Zoids lot, there has a motor you can use, either the part out to replace the broken, or change the motor) For the gashapons.... anyone know the names of the Z-Knights? are any more rare than the others? I know there there were a total of 5 or 6 Z-Knight gashapons released with the gashapons (Set 6-11?) as "secret figures" I know Marine Kaiser was one? Eagle Head or something? uhh someone help me out Technically those are called Armoured Titans, Z-Knight is just one of them. I should probably translate some Z-Knight info someday, there's very little English information about them. Here's some Japanese info, if you're interested. Anyway, the gashapons are Z-Knight (set 6), Marinekaizer (set 7), Zerros (set 8), Gaimu (set 9), Eaglehead (set 10) and Flamesol (set 11). The only ones that got model releases are Z-Knight (plus Great Z-Knight) and Marinekaizer, but Zerros and Gaimu showed up briefly in one of the OVAs. As for Eaglehead and Flamesol, the gashapons are the first time they were given names or appearances, but the Z-Knight storyline did specify that there were 6 Armoured Titans. I don't know much about the rarity of the gashapons, but I haven't noticed any for sale recently.

That's just an advertisement for Hiou. It's not in color so it looks kind of deceptive. I believe Rapto Caesar was only ever sold as the white box but I could be wrong. It would supposedly come with the base component BLOX in new colors? If any other 'final BLOX' are any indication. I don't own one so can't vouch for the validity, it's just a guess. Yep, Rapto Caesar was a white-box event-limited critter. Sadly, it only contains the frames necessary to make the Rapto Caesar, so you can't quite build any of the component Zoids (Raptojaguar, Stegoganzer, Hurricane Hawk, Harpers) without already owning the other pieces. It does, however, include the Hybrid Vulcan from the LB Dark Horn - some people probably buy it just for the Vulcan, since the Caesar itself is rather ugly. Also, not really an inquiry, but I was image searching for a Battle Card Game character called Mami Brigitte ( here's a picture) when I found this photo - someone who looks rather like her, has the same colour shirt, is on a photo site called brigit.jp, and is actually called Mami, but as far as I know has nothing to do with Zoids. Pretty impressive coincidence! Really need some kind of display case.. Doesn't have to be huge as I don't have that many Zoids. I'd just like something that looks nice and isn't $1,000. Really just looking to display what I have while protecting them from dust and sunlight. Any suggestions other than Ikea's Detolf? or is that really the best option... open to options Make one - Buy a cheap $40 book shelf from target or something, then buy plexiglass from Lowes / home depot and cut it into sizes that cover the shelves, and add hinges so they can be lifted up.. Also try Craigslist and Freecycle! One of my favorite display cabinets is actually a pair of old filing cabinets (they were puke green and rusted) with sliding glass doors, I spray painted the outside black and the inside red, and added felt to the shelves. It turned out really nice. Finding shelves that look ugly but have all the pieces (glass and hinges and stuff) works nicely, because you can get them cheap or free, and just add paint. hmmmm maybe I will try that, I just have no time lol I'm always working. Thanks Rhas The other thing is, I'm currently the highest bidder on this auction: www.jauce.com/auction/r114261282Can somebody translate and ensure that the gashapons are included in the listing? I know I'm being paranoid but I just wanna make sure. I really need that Shadow Fox and Gojulas MKII. Also, is that a Tomica Blade Liger? I don't know if the gashapons are included but yes, that is the Tomica liger. Note that he is missing his hind right foot. lol damnit. I didn't even notice that. I mean the bid is only at 310 yen.. Hopefully the gashapons are included, idk If i can even contact the seller Ok my old model glue is failing me. I'm not sure if it is just because it is old or some other reason. Can anyone out there recommend me some good glue to use on Zoids with broken parts/for customs? did you use glue or cement? I like MR.hobby model cement Hey, could anybody show me a size comparison pic between an HMM Berserk Fuhrer and, say, HMM Shield Liger or similar? I wanna get the Fuhrer next and I want to know how big it is compared to my other Zoids and so I can show my dad! I have been using Testors. Works well and dries quickly. It does tend to eat at the plastic a little if too much is applied but so far I have no negative complaints. For giggles, I put a crap ton on one of my No-Grade Gundam kits with a broken leg peg, because I could have cared less about it. It is stuck on there, but the glue did some petty nasty looking things to the peg. Hey, could anybody show me a size comparison pic between an HMM Berserk Fuhrer and, say, HMM Shield Liger or similar? I wanna get the Fuhrer next and I want to know how big it is compared to my other Zoids and so I can show my dad! The HMMs are generally the same scale(1/72) as the TomyTakara kits. This pic from member Woftiger is the closest I could find. s444.photobucket.com/user/WingedWolf9/media/Zoids%20HMM/HMM%20Blade%20Liger/7c08822d.jpg.htmlThe Blade Liger and Geno Breaker are the same sizes as the Shieldy and Fuhrer, respectively. So hopefully that will give you an idea of scale. Ok my old model glue is failing me. I'm not sure if it is just because it is old or some other reason. Can anyone out there recommend me some good glue to use on Zoids with broken parts/for customs? I use Loctite super glue. It is strong enough to bond broken pieces together well, but does not seem to eat plastic. Use sparingly. Once it is bonded, it is pretty permanent..so I don't know if I would use it on customs unless you are sure you are not going to make any changes. I don't prefer super glue, because over time it 'blooms' ... which I have no idea what is actually happening, but the plastic around the glued area becomes smokey looking with a white coating over it. The glue also becomes yellow and brittle over time. Some of the thick model cements also become brittle over time, and can snap really easily in glued areas. Liquid model cement is the way to go IMO. It bonds the plastic together dirrectly instead of sticking it together with an adhesive. They also range in strength from things meant for models, to things not really meant for models. Mathaeus mentioned a brand that he has that will absolutely liquify plastic when it is used, lol. That might be helpful for some areas that need serious strength like leg joints or something. Mr.Hobby is medium strength, and can in a desperate situation be un-done if you work fast. Are there any structural differences between the Saber Tiger HMMs? I'm curious if they underwent any non-cosmetic updates like the Genos. Nope. The Raven and Reese specific Genos underwent structural/mold changes in order to be able to better achieve the CPC firing stance. One Saber variant is no different than any other as far as structure...only color and weapons vary. The quality should at least be improved though right? Less loose fitting parts with the newer releases? Thats why I am so excited for the Leon Re-issue, and hopeful for a Schwarz one. Also, Royal Saber has the Rudolph pilot. Thats about it. The opposite would normally be true. If parts havent been redesigned, then they wouldnt bother to make new moulds for the sprues. Therefore the moulds will have degraded with later releases and parts are more likely to be loose. Older is usually better with multiple releases of kits made from the same moulds. Usually. I dont know about HMMs. The Riesegeno definitely had some mold degredation going on, at least for some of them. Mine had lots of little stray bits of plastic on edges, and a few bits that needed trimming/gluing flat out (the torso wouldn't even go together otherwise, and one of the purple decorative pieces had a whole line of stray plastic down it). A buddy of mine got one that was even worse. I've glued SO MANY pieces on the blasted thing it's gotten a bit silly. At least it hasn't started flopping/collapsing at the hip joints. Fingers crossed at least I got a decent one there! Believe it or not, this isn't actually a Zoids question, but a question for another Koto product. Can anyone vouch for the Frame Arms model kits? I saw 2 at my local suppliers as limited edition first waves, which include special parts. I have to know; is it worth the purchase? They look kind of cool. I just want to know if they are of good quality, and look good on display. Thanks Tough call, actually. The two-tier case is fine, but the other does look better. However, it really depends on how much overall space you have... would you want to stack two of the nicer cases? In that case, I would go with the double case because the nicer case would block light from the lower tier. Tough call, actually. The two-tier case is fine, but the other does look better. The second one looks like it'll lock out dust about as well as anything possibly can. But yeah, can't stack that, so no matter what you do with it, it'll eat up more space.

12's gone too Or not. I like the option #2 myself. Looks more...professional? Grown-up? I like the second one better also. You'll have to let me know how it looks, cause I could use one myself. But yeah, can't stack that, so no matter what you do with it, it'll eat up more space. @darth Escargot: Hahaha thats what I was saying, it just looks... cheap or something? And yeah the second one is more like a cube that goes over the base. Space isn't a huge issue really I don't have 100s of zoids or anything lol so I guess I can spare the extra 10" I like the option #2 myself. Looks more...professional? Grown-up? @command_Liger: I agree, and I'm a sucker for anything black haha favorite color I like the second one better also. You'll have to let me know how it looks, cause I could use one myself. Ok I'll definitely let you know about it! I've been saving a little bit and I'm in the process of remodeling my bedroom (yes I just graduated college and still live at home lol). By remodeling I mean getting ride of all the clutter and crap and potentially getting new furniture. I tend to be a bit of a packrat sometimes. So ideally I would really really like to get some kind of cool display case for my Zoids. Like I said I really don't have that many, so a tower display case or something of that nature would suffice.... What do you guys think of something like this? Display Case W/ Cabinet It's enough space for me and I like the cabinet at the bottom to put boxes or something Idk..... Is that price ridiculous? I know Ikea Detolf cases go for around $70 but Im a strong believer in you get what you pay for.. and I like the cabinet for storage What do you guys think of something like this? I know Ikea Detolf cases go for around $70 but Im a strong believer in you get what you pay for.. and I like the cabinet for storage Strongly disagree on this Cabinet, although it's look nicer, but it is very similar to the Ikea one(just look a bit stronger and better), but it is 6-7 times more expensive. I will spend the money to buy 2 from Ikea, put them side by side and use the rest of the money to get something else like Zoids. here's a random question but talking about the custom bf that sold high, where could I get a custom hmm at? who could I get to do one? I live in the US and all I want is a hmm zero painted to be a blue souga and the chrome cp pieces to be rechromed to the appropriate colors Your best bet is to ask on here. There's people that are quite good with painting. Keep in mind, I wouldn't expect anything less than a $500 price tag. Edit - For chrome pieces, expect up to another $100 just to have piece re-chromed. I am saving money to have the heavy armor for my lightening saix chromed in silver. It's going to be around $100. what would I post that under? Maybe under the custom section? Or the for sale section, as a 'wanted' ad. I think either way would be acceptable. What do you guys feel is an appropriate price for a MIB Shield Liger Blox? Really debating getting this one on eBay that I've had in my watch-list for forever and there's a sale going one putting it at around $45 with shipping...... would you say that's fair? Yes, that is definitely fair. They are about $10-$15 on YJ so you are paying less than it'd cost to import it. Yeah that's what I figured.... I've also done business with this seller before and they are great. So I think I'll go through with it Hey everybody, yes I haven't died, that's correct I've just been busy. I thought that Summer would give me time to work on Zoids but lo I still have 3-4 incomplete/unbuilt kits and only the weekends to work on 'em. I guess the benefit of working is that I have more money to buy Zoids with though, haha. In any case, I'm just wondering if anyone know of any good articulation tutorials for the motorized kits. I am thinking of just getting a cheapish one to experiment on then moving up to the one that I'd actually like to give articulation to (probably like the Rez Tiger/Whitz Wolf). I sort of looked around the customization section but didn't see much. Thanks in advance EDIT: I've found this but I am sort of opposed to cutting up my dualy precious Bionicle pieces, not entirely opposed I would just be sad... ligerzero91. Good price! I paid $35.00 for mine last year (for just the Shield Liger Blox; I don't know what it was with shipping because it came in a big order with several other zoids) from the eBay seller I think we both said we like, apezyap. And Wingpad, you sound like me there, lol. I mean, you work so you don't have time to build but on the plus side, you can buy more zoids (that you still don't have time to build). In my case, this has led to "the stockpile" over 20 MIB kits just patiently awaiting the day to be displayed properly. But in my case this is a good thing. I have been slowly reducing the hours that I am working as my classes get harder and harder and plan to quit altogether come August..I will have nursing lecture each Tues/Wed and all day clinicals each Thurs/Fri. I have my LPN license, now I am planning on signing RN behind my name. ...And maybe come next May (hence, the stockpile) I will be thru with this torment and go back to actively collecting! @command_Liger, congratulations on getting your LPN license! Unfortunately, I still have two years left of undergrad and then possibly four more of hell grad school. I can't really cut back on my working hours either, its pretty consistently 8:00a-4:30p every business day (but I come home tired and not wanting to really start anything). I finished one of the legs for my HMM Geno Saurer (Raven ver) when I had some downtime today so I was pleased about that... ok so when I was packaging up the royal saber for a member on here, I found a poster hidden underneath the two boxes in the box, my question is how many or which ones came with posters? ok so when I was packaging up the royal saber for a member on here, I found a poster hidden underneath the two boxes in the box, my question is how many or which ones came with posters? My HMM Schneider came with a file folder that showcased all the box arts of the HMMs that had been released previous to it. None of my other HMMs (Shadow Fox, Berserk Fury, Gojulas, Gun Sniper, Dark Horn Harry Special, Cannon Tortoise) came with one though yea I have that along with a art poster of mirage and royal saber and shield liger bang came with a alternate color scheme book I believe Shield Liger Ramar also came with a music CD based on the Wild Flowers opening of Chaotic Century and Guardian Force. Anyone know of good places online to get LEDs that would work with Zoids? Preferably I would like them to not take too much soldering/wiring. I have a few gashapon doubles and I wanna try customizing some.... specifically, I have a double of Berserk Fuhrer and I'm kind of interested in painting and altering him into a Quadra/Shadow Edge... Thinking about cutting his egg beaters, sanding them and what not... Anyway, what kind of paint would you guys recommend? I'd only need the obvious black and red, and not a lot of it for obvious reasons Acrylics never did me wrong. I dunno how you're gonna go about modifying the egg beaters though. . . I would practice on one that you have triples of, lol. I mean, the fury i have that came with dragoonnest is actually pretty hard, so maybe sanding would work. But the other gashas are soft plastic, so it might involve cutting or even removing them all together and relacing them with new parts. haha well the double I have of BF is actually the one from the DN cargo playset! Remember we talked about them being discolored for some reason? yeah it bothers me haha so I don't mind. As far as the egg beaters go, I was thinking about splitting each one down the middle with an exacto knife or something, to make the 4 wings/blades of the shadows edge, and sanding them down to take better form. It wont be perfect but it will give the effect. I agree the BF that came with the DN playset is made of a harder plastic and seems more dense, so that should make it easier. But I do know that the plastic will sand down, I've done it with a metal filer on many of my gashapons that come unbuilt in order to make them fit more snug and sturdily. Or I may just say screw it and leave the egg beaters alone and just worry about paining and detailing it... It could be fun? I say give modifying them a shot, and if it doesn't work out, then just chop them off and make completely new ones out of something. yeah true... I'm interested to see how it turns out. So acrylic paint? They are the Spiderman & Zoids comics. Compilations of the weekly stories were published in seasonal 'collected comics', there are four for the Zoids series. Its just reprints of the original issues, minus Spiderman. REALLY off topic, but not worth starting my own thread about. Does anyone here live in Florida, or the tropical US areas? Or somewhere in another country with palm trees? I'm looking for palm seed pods, and I figured someone would sell them online, but I can't seem to find any! Let me know if these drop on the ground near you! Not to be rude but I thought random inquiries was for Zoids discussion? I don't think this belongs here ha ha; you can probably find another place to get better results for this sort of thing like a forum about Florida locals with a sales section, they do have those. And we do have an off topic section anyway. I'm just asking here because I am familiar with people doing deals on here, and it is a random thought and if someone responds, that's cool and I can do deals with them. Not a big deal, no need to spam the (another) thread with an argument! But thanks! How do you use Jauce? If I am wanting to bid on something, they don't have information for shipping outside of Japan. Is Jauce a proxy that they could ship to and it would be forwarded, how does that work? Thanks Basically Jauce allows you to buy things that you otherwise wouldn't be able to get (where they don't ship to US). It's really just an english version of YHJ. So first you need to put money into your Jauce account through paypal (it is always refundable) and bid on an item. You will only be able to bid what you have in your Jauce account. When/if you win an auction, the item is sent to Jauce's warehouse over there. Once the item is received at their warehouse, they notify you, and then you order a shipment to your home (internationally). The good thing with Jauce being that you can win a number of items, and Jauce will hold your previously won items at their warehouse for an extended period of time until all your items arrive.. Once say for example, all 5 of your items have been received at their warehouse, and you order a shipment, they individually wrap and label everything and package it together in one box, and then send it to you. Awesome, that is exactly what I was wondering. Thanks! No problem, I also replied to your PM too. Shoot me another one if you have any questions Thanks, I really appreciate it I°3 Hey Hanyoutai check your PMs I just won this lot of 14 Zoids off ebay. Does anyone know whose parts these are? I can't figure out who they belong to! I'm pretty sure the green bits and pieces with four cannons belong to Dibison and the two large two part thrusters definitely belong to Konig wolf. I see a Saber Tiger gun set too but the other bits I'm not too sure of. Looks like the other parts are from a Dark Horn? They also has some Elephander's parts, a few piece from Liger Zero and 1 piece look to me is belong to Raynos. Thanks for answering! All the zoids you guys listed are in that lot, so it's very likely the parts belong to them. I have another question! Who is this? He's so cool looking... I found him while looking up the Whitz Wolf, and apparently its called Whitz Wolf Imitate? but when I google it, nothing comes up. I want him! His name is Fang and he's a custom Zoid that can be found on the Zoids Hangar-029 website, here. One of my all time favorite customs that I've seen others create! Whitz Wolf Imitate is a yellow 'limited' (used loosely) version of the Whitz Wolf/tiger. Such an amazing custom! Has a very "wild Zoid" look to it. Will ya look at that... That isn't official, is it? If it's not official it's at the very least endorsed officially! A link has been on the main Koto page for a while, but not clickable. I guess this is what it was pertaining to! Thanks for sharing, Fontana! Could anyone tell me what this text says? Someone took a stab at it as Liger Zero Prime Field but I'd like to be sure. It's a name for the Liger Zero without any armor on. Can anyone provide me with some decent pics or links of the BF Shadow's Edge // Quaddra edge? Looking to customize a BF Gashapon into one but I can't really find any good pics through google... Can people from countries other than Japan enter, and do they have to be HMM models? I wish they did more contests.

Could anyone tell me what this text says? Someone took a stab at it as Liger Zero Prime Field but I'd like to be sure. It's a name for the Liger Zero without any armor on. "Prime field" is an algebra term, not really applicable to Zoids. As Fontana mentioned, the kanji in this context mean "naked body". Incidentally, the Web Comic uses the term "nude" (in katakana), but when using it as the Zoid's name like that, I'd probably go with "Liger Zero (Naked)". Can people from countries other than Japan enter, and do they have to be HMM models? Any Kotobukiya kit was fine (so Zoids entries would be HMM or D-Style only), but the contest ended months ago and I expect it was Japan-only, as usual. Can anyone provide me with some decent pics or links of the BF Shadow's Edge // Quaddra edge? Looking to customize a BF Gashapon into one but I can't really find any good pics through google... The first few Google Images results for "Berserk Fury Shadow Edge" are pretty much the only good official pics of it. If you can't get enough detail from them, you'll just have to look at awesome fan customs. As for the Quadra Edge, this chapter is literally the only time it's ever appeared (apart from one silhouette at the end of the previous chapter). So... good luck! Haha yeah Google didn't give me much unfortunately! Hence why I asked. But that one on the custom page you provided helped a lot, that was basically what I was looking for, thank you! OJR or OER, it depends from where the photo is coming from. Ok. I just wanted to confirm it is not a zolkon. For a built model, there is no difference between a built OER Zolkon and a built OJR Reddra. Both are made in Japan. Oh! I thought that the wings were a slightly different shade? But if there is no difference, then I probably don't need that zoid also, lol Is there any place to get Zoids posters? Or does anyone have links to high quality box art images sans text? I see advertising materials including posters pop up on ebay.co.uk a lot more often if that helps? Is there any place to get Zoids posters? Or does anyone have links to high quality box art images sans text? A little over 10 years ago, there was a Zoids poster in GamePro or something like that. It was to advertise the upcoming Zoids Legacy and Zoids Battle Legends games on one side, and the Zoids Chaotic Century DVDs on the other. I've actually got mine up on my wall still (I framed it, it did get a little damaged over the years, as it was not initially framed...) Also, some of the HMM series kits actually had a high-quality print of the boxart in the box. It was always in the larger-boxed kits. I have a few of said posters, though I will have to go through and figure out which ones had them, since I generally collapse and store the boxes, and any included materials. That said, I also think that those prints were only in "first run" kits, or perhaps reissues. I'll have to investigate further before I can say for sure. The HMM posters were usually advertised on the box. To my knowledge there was only two, the Blade Liger Mirage and the Saber Tiger Gold. If you have others I'd love to know of them! Schneider also came with a clear file folder. There is no good place to get posters since all sources will be very expensive. The best bet is to check Ebay in your country of origin for decent (sane) deals. If you're willing to shell out a lot of money you can try checking Yahoo japan which gets corocoro goods regularly, but most posters are still almost page sized. Is zoids 2 sabre and techno zoids sabre different? I've been going back and watching chaotic century/guardian force, just so I can keep sane while I between jobs....(god I hate my old company) and couldn't help but notice that in episode 21 of guardian force, supersonic battle, a pilot by the name of Carol, uses a storm sworder that looks near identical to the new Original release storm sworder. I know this really isn't an inquire, as it is more of an observation. I just wanted to ask if I wasn't the only one to have noticed this? I actually made a post about this when they announced the FSV regarding the similarities, and I'm sure others have too so no, you aren't the only one. Hard to say whether it was an intentional choice, or whether or not red is just a popular color, especially for speed demons like the Storm Sworder, lol The HMM posters were usually advertised on the box. It's funny you mentioned the Schneider, as I was actually working on mine at the time. I have yet to check which ones have posters, but I think you're right. I don't actually recall them being referenced on the box, though, unless it was text-only, and with my limited knowledge of Japanese, I don't really often read the boxes. I've been building them up pretty quick lately, though, so I should be able to tell if I've got any other posters soon. (I filed the posters away with the boxes, I have a giant porfolio bag I put the collapsed boxes in, though I need another soon because that one's getting full.) Is zoids 2 sabre and techno zoids sabre different? Nope, no changes were made between the TZ and Zoids 2 versions, they are identical. Regarding the blue Schneider/Jager Hybrid HMM Knock-off kit - I'm aware it comes with a Liger but, does this kit come with a complete set of BOTH armours or just what's pictured here? I've read mixed answers so I'm unsure on what the real answer is. Mine came with both sets of armor~ Mine came with both sets of armor~ Oh okay, hopefully mine does too. I bought it purely for the cheaper base zero for a custom but the schneider blades (for MS) were a major bonus.... but the Jager Armour I'd love to custom paint, if it comes with the whole set. Does anyone know where I can get some replacement parts for an HMM Geno (Raven ver.)? The upper part of the left arm broke on mine during assembly (I was just flexing the elbow and it went SNAP!) and so I'd like to fix it (as it looks awful right now). Unfortunately you can't get replacement parts unless you ordered from Kotobukiya Direct. I found this out while going through deputy services to try and find replacement parts for a Command Wolf AC/LC I wanted to rehome. You needed an order number from the Kotobukiya store to submit the application for replacement parts. There's a parts section in the trading/selling forum, it is likely your best bet. the best thing to do would be repair it if possible. hmm parts are hard to come by with the acception of liger armor, since it's so interchangeable Unfortunately you can't get replacement parts unless you ordered from Kotobukiya Direct. Heres a pic of the damage, any tips? Probably just glue and repaint? From a macro lens I see all sorts of blemishes that the OCD person in me now wants to fix... You can see my terrible repair attempt >.< Yeah, glue and repaint. I recommend taking some sand paper and sanding down the surface to make it more smooth, but show extra care since round parts can be easy to distort the smooth shape of. That's a pretty bad break! Sorry about your luck. It also looks like gluing might (have already?) hindered the arm's ability to turn. Not sure much can be done there! If it can still move at this point be sure not to put the arm in for quite a while until the glue sets. Yeah, glue and repaint. So fortunately, the elbow joint maintains its full range of motion!

Send your photos to neonjewel@hotmail.co.jp Please state "LIGERZERO COLLECTING" in your email. Waiting for work from you. Hey guys; I just won this Tomy Thailand version of Dibison off of Ebay for a really good price. I have a question about the "Not for resale' stamp on the box as well as if there are any differences between Tomy Thailand and the main division of Tomy? The photos showed that the kit was complete so I was pretty happy; just have to hope it gets to me okay I'm always nervous about overseas orders. Thanks guys! I had a dream last night that I found a blade liger at a thrift store, and now I want one even more than I did before! Does anyone know how much Hasbro Blade Ligers usually go for? I wouldn't really care about coloer, as blue, black, and red are all awesome anyway. Also wondering how much I can expect to pay for a D-style shield liger, becase they're adorable Blade ligers can be from $20-$50 built, and $50+ NIB for some. D-style is usually around $20-$30 including shipping. They're pretty cheap NIB. This is either a really dumb question, or a really awesome one... Do some of the water zoids actually work in water? The plastic means a lot of them float. It's probably not best for the motors to leave them in water, but I used to do this with my warshark and it was ok! I also found the BLOX Zoids don't sink so you can have a Mosasledge pool floaty if you want. I try the Hammerhead once, and it is half way float(I think the booster trap the air, so it can float a bit). In the worse case, just put some form inside the Hammerhead's booster, then it should float. Wow, didn't think the Hammerhead could. Cool. Speaking of foam, Warshark, Sinker, and Aquadon all come with foam floats, so they're probably bathtub-worthy. Quick question, how much did you guys pay for a MISB sturm tyrann? I wouldn't be surprised to see them go for around $150-$200 including shipping. I paid only $70 on mine before importing, but the box is HUGE. Like, insanely. It probably challenges a lot of the larger Liger HMM boxes, so shipping is a *****. Most of that is wasted space. If you're patient on Yahoo Japan you might find one for less than $100 before costs but to be honest I haven't seen many around lately. Couple value / rarity questions since I found a seller selling a bunch of ZOIDS at what I believe is a nice price but... For the sake of not getting ripped off- I can't confirm if they are Hasbro or regular TOMY. How rare / sought after / much would you say the following ZOIDS (assembled with no box or manual) are and what would you pay max for them? Techno ZOIDS Iron Kong (Chrome armour with the red/orange body and appears to have all his weapons) Tomy Storm Sworder Tomy Dark Horn Tomy Guysack (brown) Tomy Cannon tortoise (dark green) Tomy Gordos Tomy Shadowfox There is also a smaller raptor like one that I believe is a TZ but I don't know Just to give me an idea whether the price they're asking is decent or ridiculous. Thanks in advance Techno ZOIDS Iron Kong: $80-$90 Tomy Storm Sworder: $40-$50 Tomy Dark Horn: $50-$70 Tomy Guysack: $20 Tomy Cannon Tortoise: $25 Tomy Gordos: $60-$70 Tomy Shadow Fox: $30 That's just my guess. Since you can't verify, though, I'm assuming they're built, so all those prices cut in half at least. Maybe even more. I can confirm they're all built and have decals applied. They also appear to have all of their pieces and no damage. Coming from an adult owned collection and seller claims are in excellent condition. The pictures he provided (which I can't really link as I'm on my phone) seem to reflect this accurately so it seems the only downsides are that they are prebuilt with no original packaging. His asking price was $250 (postage included) AUD but he'll drop it to $200 total if I get the whole lot. I only own one of them in this lot so I'm very interested but yeh... Just didn't want to find later that I got ripped off. Would you, personnally, say this is a good deal or should I pass it up? Also unrelated how rare are holo tech spinosnappers? There's one for sale in i think Victoria. No interest in it myself just asking others Here's my estimates for built zoids. Techno ZOIDS Iron Kong:$30-50 Tomy Storm Sworder: $20 Tomy Dark Horn: $10-$20 Tomy Guysack: $5-$10 Tomy Cannon Tortoise: $5-$10 Tomy Gordos: $20 Tomy Shadow Fox: $20-50 If that price is including postage I think it would be a decent deal. Some of those Zoids, especially the Iron Kong are quite large, so postage is going to eat up a LOT of that cost. Holotech Spinosapper is VERY rare. I think people would be interested! I personally wouldn't buy it for more than $100-$150 and only if I wanted all of the zoids in the lot. Usually, lotting them together lowers the value for a bulk price. Adding my prices together is about $170, so that's where I get my $100-$150 price, because i feel like in a lot I shouldn't be paying full value for each individual zoid. Also: I'M ITERESTED I THE SPINOSAPPA. Sent you a PM $200AUD incl postage yeah Okay thanks guys Regarding the holo snapper I'll ask the seller if he will sell it individually. I /think/ it is NIB (but has been opened to show that all th parts are in the box and still in plastic bags so yeah only box has been opened). He's selling it in a lot with a Hasbro Elephander, Tomy Dibison from memory I think a Zabat and another one for $150 but I don't think he will ship outside Australia. I will contact him (already been asked via pm here about it lol that was quick!) and see if we can possibly do a third person trade. That's granted he will sell it individually. !! Let me know. Another note, I guess $100 would be without postage, but $150 might be includinng postage. lol I don't think I would pay over $150 including postage. BUT I also have no idea what the zoids are worth in Australia. They might be harder to come by, and if that's a factor, then going up to $200 might not be bad, especially if they're all complete, and you want them all. Well generally purchasing ZOIDS in Australia is far more expensive as, for example a Shadowfox being $40 will actually cost us $55-80 instead because of postage- especially from America. So I'm thinking this might be a good deal taking into consideration the stupid postage costs from overseas. I've asked the guy to give me a week (to get paid lol) so I'll think over it. Alright thanks guys I just bought the reissue saber tiger Swartz mainly cause I wanted the pilot and I didn't glue parts down so pieces fall off but as I was looking is seems the reissue has different color feet and teeth than the first one, is this true and are there any other differences? Yes, that's true. It's the only difference I'm aware of, and only the very first release had the bright yellow feet. All subsequent releases had the bone colored claws/teeth. (This annoys me greatly because the tiger has bright yellow claws/teeth in the anime. It's an anime version. Whychangetheanimefeatures. But then I don't think the SS kit has the bright pink missile launcher either so I don't know.) I don't remember it having a pink launcher in the anime He had some random color preferences. the reissue didn't even come with a Swartz pilot

I don't believe any of the tiger reissues did. It was originally made before custom pilots were a thing. The same can be said for the Blade Liger Leon, which is why they're making a big deal out of the renewal version having the pilot. I don't believe any of the tiger reissues did. It was originally made before custom pilots were a thing. The same can be said for the Blade Liger Leon, which is why they're making a big deal out of the renewal version having the pilot. I wish they would focus more on new model kits than re-issues. Bladey has been released like 5 or something times now and it seems a waste on re-releasing the same thing with a new paint job over and over. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they suddenly churn out FnNF and Black Impact versions. At least with the sabre tigers they had different equipment or were different enough to be worth their own release. I mean they sell CP parts, why not CP parts that come with pilots? Asking my question again since we're on a new page and I didn't get an answer last time. Is there any difference between a Tomy Thailand release compared to an NJR release? I recently purchased a Dibison with an NJR looking box complete with metal parts but the copyrights on the spures say Tomy Thailand. Would they still be considered NJR or something else entirely? Also the box has a stamp on it saying 'Not for Resale' is that of importance? Asking my question again since we're on a new page and I didn't get an answer last time. Is there any difference between a Tomy Thailand release compared to an NJR release? I recently purchased a Dibison with an NJR looking box complete with metal parts but the copyrights on the spures say Tomy Thailand. Would they still be considered NJR or something else entirely? Also the box has a stamp on it saying 'Not for Resale' is that of importance? Ok, first of all, I'm not a expert or professional on this, I just said/type what I know. First, "NJR" is just mean where this version release. So "NJR" is only mean "New Japanese Release" version, but not where they are made from. Just like many "OER" or "OAR", a lot of them are made in Singapore, not in Europe or North America. For I have seem so far, I think most(all?) the "NJR" are made from Thailand(that's include many limit version), since they are made in Thailand by Tomy, so the spures just paint "Tomy Thailand", because that is where they have been made from. So don't worry, your one 99% is NJR version. (Ok, I'm not 100% sure since there always has some odd on this world) As for the stamp, can be lot of reason, like this is a contest price, item that for store to build and display, sample, etc. I think at this point, except the seller still remember how he own your Dibison at the very first place, if not it will very hard to almost impossible to find out now. PS. like I said, I'm not expert on this, so that can be wrong. So im in Japan right now, and today I was wondering the stores, when I came upon ALL OF THE ZOIDS!!!!!!! With a near perfect conversion rate of 100yen to 1USD, Blade Liger Bang was $55, Gun Sniper Naomi was $35. Berserk Fury was $60, Dibison was just shy of $80 You get the picture. Kits that normally go for HUNDREDS of dollars I am finding below the $80 mark. At this point I have 2 things; money to spend and a euphoria high that will keep me away from drugs for life. Long story short, what are the very best HMM kits out there? Im looking for quality and a fun build. Price is not an issue (save for Gojulas).Whatever you buy, don't buy the tortoises. They blow. On a side note, good idea or bad idea - I have a crystal deathsaurer, and I'm thinking I am going to dye it so that it is transparent, but red and black and gray. Is this an awesome idea? Or do you think I should leave teh whole thing completely clear? Well, you have a rare kit, but it is YOUR kit. I can't recall ever seeing one dyed the normal colors... maybe it would look cool? Personally, I've never been a fan of clear or chrome kits. If it were my kit? Well, I would find a way to paint it in the Guylos Black theme.... BUT, I would leave windows in the clear so that it would light up like a friggin Tron lightcycle with glowing green outlines and details! Oh, YES!!!! (great, now I want to buy one....) Or do you think I should leave teh whole thing completely clear? The store had a Cannon Tortoise as well. Not the Buster version though. I am actually more interested in the original version because of the color scheme. What is so bad about them? For the Deathsaurer, if you can pull it off I say do it. My philosophy these days is to be happy with what you have on display. I recommend that you do some tests before doing anything permanent. With my buster and cannon tortoise, they were impossible to put together. I actually checked every aspect of the box to make sure it wasn't a knock off, because it had just as many fitting issues (if not worse! I can actually put a knock off together) as the BT and STK models. My cannon tortoise, I never even got completed. The top of the shell basically just sits on top, and the front leg armor absolutely will not stay on. I took it apart yesterday, to store in a box for when I move in the near future, and really, I just needed to tug on it a little for it to be dissasembled. . . The buster tortoise had the same problems, only it actually went together after a LOT of pushign and pulling. I will deffinitely be doing some tests before going straight in for the death saurer, lol. I need to find some scrap clear pieces, good luck with that... Or a cheap clear molga to test on maybe. I have 2 clear molgas, but I have plans for one, and I want to keep the other clear, lol. Well, you have a rare kit, but it is YOUR kit. BUT, I would leave windows in the clear so that it would light up like a friggin Tron lightcycle with glowing green outlines and details! Oh, YES!!!! (great, now I want to buy one....) I actually have a DIFFERENT death saurer, to paint in guylos specs. lol. But I wanted to do something like this: My understanding, is that this one is a crystal red horn, dyed with fabric dyes. I also thought about swapping the clear cockpit cover from the crystal one, to the one I'm going to paint guylos, so I can make it light up with a green LED in the eyes. And the smoke cockpit would be just one less thing I would have to dye on the crystal one. Long story short, what are the very best HMM kits out there? Im looking for quality and a fun build. Price is not an issue (save for Gojulas). I was in South Korea last year and asked myself this same question. I went with a Shadow Fox and Cannon Tortoise. I'd say that of all the zoids I've built (aside from the Gojulas) the Shadow Fox has been by far the most fun. I was able to buy it for just $40 and built it as soon as I got back to the hotel. I also really enjoyed the Cannon Tortoise and didn't have any trouble with mine staying together (but do be careful when attaching the legs to the body). For the size and price, I actually think the Tortoises are really cool kits. I personally don't think there are any bad options as I've enjoyed every HMM I've built, but if I had to pick one it'd probably be a Shadow Fox, or a Fire Fox if you like that variant more. Should be noted Rhas, that the person who did this custom warned that after a few months the red was fading and within a year it was far more orange than red. This could just be red though, as it's not the nicest colour to play with when doing transparents (always ends up orangy or pink ) but yeah, thought I should remind you (and anyone else) of that. Would look epic though. If I had it I'd probably do the same - custom paint it with transparent dyes because as nice as the crystal kits are, they'd be nicer in colour imo. A transparent guylos black/green colour scheme would look nice How much would cp-27 "CAS Storm Unit" for ber serk fury will cost now? is this is rare? limited? It is semi-rare, but not hard to find, just a matter of waiting. They show up on Yahoo Japan fairly often, usually in the range of $45-$55 before fees. On US markets they are much more expensive and hard to come by. Yeah in the US you can expect to pay up to $100 for a built one. I don't even know what a NIB one would go for on ebay. BUT, I have seen a few people list built storm units as just berserk fury, because they can't tell the difference because they're not zoids people. So you might get lucky. I got one slightly incomplete for $20, and my complete one for $50 built on ebay. Hardest decision of my life time -Yuji Kaida Cannoneer Gordos -Yuji Kaida Salamander Bombvern Both are priced at $45. I probably will only have money and room for one. Hell, I actually dont even know how the hell I am going to get all these model kits home... HELP. ME. PLEASE. >.< There is no choice other than to get both, lol. The boxes are huge, and I am still hunting MANY other toys/models/figures while I am here. I am already at the point where I am going to have to buy a second bag for luggage because of all the crap I am bringing home. The only "good" thing I suppose is that I can fit 2 MSS kits into 1 MSS box with no problem. But for real, I need to make that choice. Having both would get in the way of my other wants/desires for this trip. Hardest decision of my life time -Yuji Kaida Cannoneer Gordos -Yuji Kaida Salamander Bombvern Both are priced at $45. I probably will only have money and room for one. Hell, I actually dont even know how the hell I am going to get all these model kits home... HELP. ME. PLEASE. >.< If you can buy only one, you don't need to think much, Cannoneer Gordos is your choice(as long as they are complete, $45 seem to be little low for a complete Cannoneer Gordos). Not only it is bigger, but Cannoneer Gordos also include the adapter for Salamander to put on CP-10 on it's back, it's mean you can make a Salamander Bombvern once you have a Cannoneer Gordos. (beside the color scheme) Also, if I'm the one need to take that many Zoids/models back home, I will put most, all the MSS into 1-2 box, since their box has way too much space. Then cut all the pieces from windup/motorize Zoids, put them all in a big bag and place them between clothing(I think I will do that to the Gundam HG kit too). For HMM....I don't I can do much to save space, but try to cut some large piece out, empty a bit more space and see any thing can put in to save more space. For the box, either throw/recycle them in Japan or make them flat and put inside the suitcase. Another thing I was considering for space saving was actually building one of the MSS kits and bubble wrapping it to death. Haven't determined if that will be efficient though. As of right now the MSS kit boxes have been rearranged to hold Yugioh items, gachapons, and a few frames from one other MSS kit if convenient. Great Saber's box now has all the parts from Oriodos that I carefully dismantled. In terms of Zoids, I have a goal to obtain at least 1 "top tier" HMM (the ones that normally cost an arm and a leg), the Geno Ritter, Comand Wolf RGC, and whatever classic Zoids suit my fancy. If I cannot meet one of these goals, then both the Salamander and Gordos will be mine... The only reason I am hesitant towards Gordos is because even though both Zoids are big and are identically priced, the Gordos box is GINORMOGANTIC (which is my word for really freakin' big). The thing I did when I was there was try and fit some of the extra zoids and stuff in an extra suitcase I bought. Depending on what airline you use and how much you actually brought. There should be cheap enough ones on the street. I'd actually probably ship them home if I were you. I'd be sort of surprised if you could actually fit all of those into your luggage. Heh. Also, I don't believe building the MSS and wrapping it in bubble wrap would sufficiently protect it. While the MSS Zoids seem somewhat less fragile than the HMM Zoids, I do not think that they would be able to stand up to that very well. Shipping these home might not be efficiant as I have a lot of stuff for myself and eventually others too. It might be cheaper to get a cheap second bag and just put that on the plane. The good thing is that I doubt that weight will exceed the 50 pound airline limit. I am at a greater risk for damage sure, but if I pack everything right I doubt I will encounter signifigant problems. It won't hurt them too much. And if I remember correctly, they have bags that are more solid plastic like...so it will protect the models better. I bought one for somewhere around $10. It had a slight pop up effect that let me fit a it more into it. Just sucks I wasn't able to buy the sturm tyrann. Hope you got to check out those mandarake stores :-)

On all the wind up / battery kits, you should have no problem cutting all the pieces out and bagging them to save space. And they're pretty simple to get back together even without the sprues to guide you. I have a couple gashapons (descat and god kaiser to name some) that have little tags attached to their butts, molded into the gashapons. Are these on all gashapons from a certain set? Do people usually clip these off? Yup all the gashapons (that come in the gashapon sets and need assembly) besides the ones that come with the playsets, have them at one point. And yes they are usually cut off. Personally, I cut them off and save them (God knows why) So today, I went to the Koto store in Aki. First of all, the floor devoted to only model kits was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. So many beautiful displays from every line, customs too, including Zoids (and holy crap there were some amazing custom zoids). It was also soul crushing to learn that the clear Berserk Fury Parts were only a part of a promotion and weren't for retail (anyone know which promotion???). Final notes, all other stores carry the HMM kits for cheaper than Koto's store, but they are still reasonably priced. 3 HMM T-Shirts are sold there (any type of shirt is priced at a horrible 2900yen), and for 7000yen, any one of the metal Zoids rings. It also looked as if purchasing an HMM Gojulas would get you a free, boxless Z-Knight. So my questions here today.... -How to get the clear armor for HMM Fury? -Is it possible to still get a Republic Base/Empire Base Koto stand? The clear parts for Berserk Fury were part of the Renewal Campaign for a facelift/relaunch of the Kotobukiya Store. There is no other way to purchase except for one of the 6 people that won it. There were only 6 copies every made. 7000 Yen for the Zoid Rings is amazing though, considering I believe there were also only 30 of each made. They also retailed at over 10,000 Yen during the Museum event. How many did they have in stock, or are they producing these en mass now? The Republic/Empire base stands were only sold with the first runs of D-Style Death Saurer and Blade Liger, as far as I know. You'd need to look there to see if you can find them. If only 6 were ever made, then the store either has the last one or an extra 7th on display. And let me tell you, I would drop hundreds for it. It looks absolutely beautiful. I am not sure, but the rings are pretty damn cool. If I wasn't dead set on only buying model kits, I would pick up one. Hanyoutai, you have the Blu-Ray Box....how is the Liger's Plastic Quality??? My friend Denise also has one, I can give it a feel and comment also in the near future. She got lucky and got hers for $200. I think someone bought the blu-ray box just for the blurays, then sold the model to make some money back separately. I don't want one, but that's still a good deal, lol. And on the fury, take a pic! Is every piece of the model clear just like the blu-ray liger? Even if they did sell it, it would probably be in the thousands range I could imagine. . . And on the fury, take a pic! Better yet, anyone want one? all you need is 180,000 yen... www.jauce.com/auction/b162121783I unfortunately didn't get to order the NC0 Blu-Ray Box, so now Liger Zero. I can say though that all holotech armor from Koto I've encountered has been very sub par and brittle, even for normal standards. I have 2 sets of holotech Shield Liger armor that's all fallen off the sprues on its own, although I admit those are years old. The Blade Liger also felt very fragile. If the Koto store we are talking about is the one in Akihabara then I think I know what that facelift was. I was trying to look for the Koto store, but Google maps was being very uncooperative on my foreign phone. I was able to get a map, which showed that the store used to be right near to the JR train station, but the store was simply not there. After a lot of asking around (and I speak minimal Japanese at best) I was told the store had actually closed and moved. Im guessing that must have been within the last year or so??? Isn't there a chrome, or techno zoids, or something version of the brastle tiger? Or did I completely dream it up? I don't think so, at lease I don't remember see anything like that yet. (maybe a contest price or somebody chrome one? but i don't think so) New question: Was Liger Zero Midnight Shield ever actually in the show? Or was it just a Hasbro thing? It was strictly a Hasbro thing and did not appear in any other kind of media. How many units were produced of the Silver GenoSaurer and his other chrome companions??? Just how many of these chromes exist in which colors and Zoids??? Also, were Dark Zoids sold together in pairs of 2 at Wondefest? (2 Zoids one price) or were they just released at the same time and sold individually? Finally, how fun is the Dragoon Nest Playset?? Spartan did mention about the types of chromes made in a thread of his i believe. Go look it up. Sliver geno imo, would be considered rare? dragoon nest playset is pretty fun. it has a lot of mevement and a bunch of functioning compartments. I dig mine, but I leave it in the box. It would be a great piece in a diorama because of how dynamic it is. Two sort of quasi-random inquiries for y'all: 1) Is there any difference between the Republic Super Cannons (aka CP-10) and the Buster Cannons (found of the Gojulas Giga & Buster Eagle) in the Battle Story/Anime? I know molding-wise they are pretty much the same thing. 2) Does the Buster Fuhrer come with a complete Buster Eagle and Berserk Fuhrer or are they missing something(s)? 3) Also, do you guys have any tips or tutorials for painting models white? The cannons model wise are pretty different in my opinion. I have several sets of buster cannons, and the republic cannons are larger and heavier than they are. As far as I know, buster fuhrer comes with 2 complete zoids. Painting models white. . . Primer. Put down primer, and then coat it a million times with white. I recently went over a light blue kit with white, and even over light blue, each piece needed a billion and one coats to be white. The cannons model wise are pretty different in my opinion. I have several sets of buster cannons, and the republic cannons are larger and heavier than they are. I didn't realize that, there's a limited amount of info out there on these two and nobody has a picture of them side by side as far as I can tell. Good to know as far as them being two separate kits. Painting models white. . . Primer. Put down primer, and then coat it a million times with white. I recently went over a light blue kit with white, and even over light blue, each piece needed a billion and one coats to be white. Were you airbrushing or painting by hand? The kit I'd be going over is also light-blue... They are. Only difference is slight color....very very slight on the BF, and differnet color scheme on buster eagle. The other difference is that it comes with an extra piece to do the fusion. Oh yeah, buster eagle in the combo box has a red beak and feet, and normally has brown beak and feet. And I airbrushed the model I painted, but I didn't use primer. I think next time, I will use a light coat of primer to help cover the original colour up better. This kit took seriously, probably 8 coats per part to get them to look white with no blue showing through. And it was a very light blue. Look up 'qubeley papillon' to see the light blue colour I went over. I just packed up my republic cannons, but I think they're right in the top of a box, so I'll try to get photos of them next to the buster cannons. Starting a new thread called 'Zoids reference and comparison photos' and the republic / buster cannon photos will be there! I've read that most people dislike the Red on the Buster Fuhrer's Buster Eagle but it doesn't matter a whole lot to me, I am planning to by a Buster Fuhrer just to get a few parts from both kits so that's why I was asking. Anyway, thanks for the info @hbc and @rhas. Also, I was planning on painting over the Gairyuki so that's a much darker blue than the 'qubeley papillon.' I probably 'ought to pick up a decent airbrush eventually, I'm certainly going to come to a point where it would be handy and plus I've heard white tends to show brush strokes. Oh yeah. Gairyuki is waaay darker. I would definitely say get an airbrush, and get some primer for that change! And do a little sanding too, it'll take a thin layer off of the parts, and prepare them for paint. I like to think that the tiny layer of plastic that is sanded off, makes a little bit more room for paint thickness.
