Wow, just a couple of days since the Geno Ritter info leaked, and we already have what I suspect will be another model in the Zoids Original line. Seriously, the Tokyo Toy Show (or at least the open-to-the-public part) hasn't even started yet! As for what it's about, that would be a walking, probably motorised model of this guy ("Concept" presumably stands for "Concept Art", not "this is an idea for a model"). I'm not a big fan of the Concept Art style, but it's nice to see plans for a mostly-new Zoid instead of just recolours with a couple of bonus parts. For anyone curious, here's a translation of the Japanese text: MOVING REAL ZOID DATA:01 - Four-legged walking control technology DATA:02 - Smooth, anime-like propulsion control technology

A little black liger.. he looks a bit exposed, but I'm excited!

Zoikino now has photos (and video) from the Tokyo Toy Show, including everything seen above. It also shows the 30th Anniversary sticker and a Geno Ritter postcard, plus (a photo of) a sneak peek at the next Youtube PV. I'm guessing the finished Shield Liger Concept will be blue and mostly (if not entirely) prebuilt, but if those actions work without a stand, it's totally worth it. I fear for my wallet...

Making it blue and/or black is silly when the extant shield ligers come in those, they should've gone unique since it's clearly a very different design paradigm.. all those green lights.. eee.. SO that explains the skinny legs, it finally has the full range of motion we've always wanted in a zoid! Look at those hips move.. this thing's going to be beautiful (and yeah almost certainly prebuilt)

Watching the video and additional pictures, it almost looks like this is a Shield Liger trying to become a Blade Liger.

Maybe the zoids an people got too lazy to build a shield liger and a blade liger, so they said " the hell with it, combine them lol"

Looks like an action figure; interesting look, anyway. Nice find, Chuckles!

The design may be (yaaaaaaawn), but the movement is downright schweet. Definite improvement over those Cyber Drive things. (And after ten years it bloody well should be.) I wonder how much cocaine I'll need to sell to afford one of these?

It's a sharp looking design; similar to the ThreeZero liger. The movement is pretty smooth. It looks like it will be completely free standing, too. I wonder what scale it is?

I would have to say it is the 1/72 scale since it uses the Shield Liger feet from the standard model on that prototype
