This was a bit of a nightmare but I'm content now. I think I posted about it before(on ZP) but I needed quite a bit of white paint so the hideous Hasbro yellow didn't show through and accidentally painted the pegs/holes, everything. Lesson learned: primer is your friend for light colors. So I went back through and sanded down most of the errors. Currently in the touching up process.

Thank you! I just realized it would look a lot better with stickers so I might need to get some of those and apply after I fix the white paint. I'm hopelessly obsessed with this model. I want them all.

Love the kitty and the colors. Hm... seems like I've complimented this cat before.

I think I've seen this custom before. Lookin' good so far! There was an HMM in the contest last year that has a very similar scheme, though, to be honest, I prefer the frame of the bat-op over the HMM.

^ I agree. I don't like the skinny legs but I'll be buying one for my Zabre custom since I'll never find/be able to afford the motorized kit.

/wonders if he could joint the best parts of an HMM kit with a motorized kit to produce a brutish, stocky HMM/Motor Saber.......

Yes, primer are one of our very good friend.
I think the color scheme are very good for the Saber. If you can cover those yellow that under the parts, this will be a great Saber. Wait to see when you finish it.

Given my lack of attention to detail, I'd say it would make a pretty good finished piece already, lol. Loving the color scheme, and I'm actually planning to use an inversion of it for another project.
