Nifty! Did you use enamel paints? They're a pain in the ass to brush right. XD But he looks good from here. BTW if you need any painting tips, poke me.

very nice!! a good escort for the imperial storm sworder too bad you don't have some clear red paint or a red sharpie to turn the orange bits red and complete the look (of course green would be even better but you couldnt make it transparent, so your only option would be 'dark zoid'

Thanks fc! The gold is enamel I believe and the midnight blue is acrylic and YES it was. Bit of streaking on the left wing big warhead that I need to correct and that tiny clump you see on the big warhead on its right wing but thank you! And I shall!
Snowflake - thanks! Good idea, I'm going to sharpie the orange. I'm pretty sure I have a red one somewhere. I'll post an updated picture once I do that.

Pretty awesome piece of work. The color scheme is beautiful, and I enjoy how you use it to highlight details of this zoid that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Acrylic is tons easier to handpaint with. (Just don't get it on any clothes you like. >.<) Enamel is more of an airbrushing thing, but since it doesn't clean up with water it's so much more of a pain in the ass. XD

Thanks a lot Chuckles, I'm personally a big fan of your custom work.
Agreed but this blue color was weird and splotchy. The enamel I used is meant mainly for brush use so it actually went on easier!

I think the colors work really well together. It's always nice to see a good color swap; makes you see an old kit in a new way.

Thank you! I've realized I'm a big fan of Nightwise. With some small guns he'd be perfect.

And with bigger wings; I've always wanted to do a custom of Nightwise as a full sized Zoid (as it stands, it really is more of a parody form).

Not everything chibi has to be jocular, it resembles real owl species.. but yeah I'd love to see a bigger more badass owl

Maethius if you ever make one, and you produce more than one, I'd be the first in line to buy.

wolves - we'll see! My workspace is crammed with a project at the moment, but I happen to have a spare owl on my shelf. @chuckles - I've seen that custom... incredible work. It makes me want a nice box of parts to dig into!
