This is a Helcat Custom I made in my spare time. I think it came out really well and had some interesting ideas while making it. The idea behind it is versatility. The primary function of a Helcat is stealth operations, this unit was updated with a larger and more powerful core (which is exposed on the back) as well as new docking mounts to load in new Set-Pack weapons, instead of having to bother with all the connections and such. Other new features include an added array for better Radar quality on top of the head. Also, one of the most noticeable feature change are the heavily armored shoulders. These are not so much armor as they are high-tech ECM Jammers. This along with the increased power its new core, allow it to have a greater stealth ability. Set-Packs are a system that lets the Helcat Custom swap out its weapons quickly, sorta like a CAS system, but downgraded to just a quick switch of back weapons. The Two Current Packs are: Sniper-Pack: Main purpose is to allow long range strikes while remaining stealth, and cause confusion on the battlefield. The unit takes a shot, then moves to another location before its location is given away. Equipped: 100mm Beam Sniper Rifle with Integrated Scope systems Small-Bore Double-barreled Laser Machinegun Propulsion: Two Small Ion Boosters Rogue-Pack: This pack's purpose is to sneak in close to unsuspecting slow moving targets and use the Buster Claws to pierce and destroy weak spots at close range. Due to the limited power supply of the Helcat, the Buster claws can no longer act as energy shields or high powered cannons. They can only be used as either laser blades or a high speed Magnesser drill. To make up for the lack of any long range capabilities within the claws, the back of the Buster Claw's housing was mounted with a small beam rifle. Its effective range is short, though it does give the Rogue back a decent medium range attack. Equipped: Buster Claws Small Bore Beam Rifle (mounted on the back of the Buster Claw housing) Small-Bore Double-barreled Laser Machinegun Propulsion: Ion Booster Pack High Maneuver Thruster x 2 Other Pictures Helcat CustomDown the BarrelSmash and GrabHelcat Custom and Helcat NoirAlso A real surprise is it still walks!

That is purrrrrrrrrrrrrty ! I like the big fenders over the legs and the colour scheme is great, though the second pic seems to show you missed painting the back right leg. I like how you've built different mission packs for it.
I think the Sniper Pack needs a more solid base, it doesn't look like it could support a barrel that long. The Buster Claws work really well, and I like how you've restricted their usefulness to tie into the size of the model, rather than it being a uber-zoid with new, top-secret infinite power supply.
PS - it needs a name. I suggest Helcat: NightStrike

what an awesome helcat! The scale is boggling my brain though.. a helcat is a tiny wee little zoid, but you've put all these weapons on it that should be bigger than the cat, yet they fit somehow! You're a witch

Noyce! You made the helcat not a disgrace to cat zoids any more! And great idea to use the buster claws from the action figure berserk fury.

Thank you. Yes, I kinda ran out of paint mid-way due to the fact that the purple was mainly used for the Renargent build. I didn't think about how much was left, and didn't get a chance to paint the insides. Though luckily I have more paint now, I just need to set up my area to do a another layer on them eventually.
Also I kinda like the name Helcat: Nightstrike
Also, thinking of adding a Bi-pod to the rifle front, that will swing down when its using the sniper rifle
Update: Trying to work on a third Pack. I like the idea of a pack that spreads Chaff and small heat sources over the battle field to make an area-wide that causes multiple targets to appear on Radar. I have an action figure Jager's thrusters, and I plan to take some of the fins off it and sand it down a bit, put some clear canisters with cut up pieces of foil. Still working on it though..

Thank you for the compliment. I still haven't come up with a full name, so for now it just remains helcat custom.
