I'm not convinced that it makes sense for the limited entries and the open entries to 'compete' against each other for those three spots by comparing votes that were originally restricted by category - the Grand Prix is an open contest only, so I would have thought that we should be sending through the strongest entries.
Why not have a run-off vote for slots two and three, with Juno, Lionel, Chuckles and Adamassc's entries (ie the top two open and the top two limited - I'm excluding myself here because I don't think my entry stacks up at all against anything in the open category). Perhaps even allow two votes per person.
That would determine which two other entries the forum feels are most likely to do well in the Grand Prix.

I like this idea, though it's Colodie's call.

Just a thought, what about those of us who are already in the Grand Prix due to winning the Zoidspoison contest? Do we get more than one entry?

Normaly, you can't. Only one entry by person. But with the few persons we have in the contest, and the fact it is always the sames, I will see how I could arrange that. Second, I should not participate to the Grand Prix. But same thing, if there is too few persons, then we will see. I could still participate, and let my judge statut to someone else.

I think you should definitely participate, Lionel. I'm sure we can find an exalted member of the community to act as judge.

So KAndrw, your suggesting the Open winner gets in automatically, then a vote for remaining two from among the top two in the limited and open category.
That would work, unless anyone else has a better plan.
