HMM Dark Horn

I need to preorder this.. Looks awesome. I knew there was reason not to order Red Horn. I just Ordered Lighting Siax and Naomi's Gun Sniper. So they should keep me busy till this comes out.

I wonder if they will release a Harry Champ version. Or a Dual Gatling one.

I love the HMMs so far. Could do with Less C- Wolves and Shield Ligers though. I'd love to see the Berserk Fuhrer, Gojulas, Koing Wolf, and Storm Sworder/ Raynos as the next new mold. Unless Liger Zero is the next new mold. I don't know how their release schedule works.

I too would like to see the FLying Zoids get the Koto Treatment. Especially Storm Sworder, but hopefully they find a way to re-engineer Raynos into a beast of badassity. Perhaps a Wyverny zoid?

But back to Storm Sworder, I'm hoping for a design that compliments the Pteranodon and gives more justice to the animal's body. Point blank, something that can do that.

the zoids itself looks great but the gattling gun does not it looks to small the tri barrel artillery cannon looks almost bigger than the gattling gun.

As if the Dark Horn already had enormous fire power, now... even in a gunbluster, i would absolutely hate to take it head on. otherwise, IMPOSSIBLY better looking (and badbutt) than the original, i have a weak spot for very exquisitely detailed models and HMMs are no exception. my personal hope for next new HMM mold is... Shadow Fox or Geno Breaker Jet type B (just for giggles and grins ;p)

I think that a Gunbluster receiving the HMM treatment would be really impressive... imagine it with full articulation and upgraded everything.

But where would it articulate? It has solid armor pieces running down its entire body, and little stubby legs.. it'd just be like a big cannontortoise but without the motorized spinning barrels....

Just how articulate can one big hunk of Zoid be? Totally unsuitable for the HMM treatment. There are just some Zoids that don't have the potential...I don't think even Koto would be able to do much with Gustav, Sinker, etc.

HMM doesn't have to be very articulated as seen in the tortoise/molga models. It could just show cool gimmicks like compartments or new add ons. A gustav that opens up into a small workshop/base inside would be good.

The fact is that an HMM gunbluster of my design would have the following articulations:

Neck, jaws, cockpit (controls?), shoulders, knees, ankles, toes, hips, at least 3 articulations to swing the tail about, about a dozen more between guns, vents, hatches, etc. It would be able to crouch down low and raise the tail up, or raise up its front half for anti-air duty. The guns should be able to "splay" much like the images we see of the Dark Horn, spreading its firepower out, up and down like a ticked off porcupine.

I would play a little with the body form, as well, making the armor a little more covering, heavier looking, and more rounded. Perhaps taking after some of the original concept sketches. A Gunbluster given "the treatment" could be a truly striking model... tough, detailed, and stable.
