I just keep loving this one more and more...will definitely have to give in to temptation this time ;D Not too many variations that can be done with the Saix...I am praying that Koto will release a Tasker Version(PLEASE, Koto, PLEASE!). Since they gave the Command Wolf an Irvine version, I can't really see them doing it again with the LS. This is one time I wouldn't mind be wrong though

What are those hidden weapons? The one on the back looks like a missle pod, but what's with its chest?

I think they're replacements for the standard shock cannons. Kotobukiya replaced them with internal weapons to give the Lightning Saix a more streamlined form.

I thought about that, but was thinking back to how the lightning saix never had a weapon there. Just another one of Kotobukiya's little additions that you'd think would already be there.

I like the hidden 12-shot launcher, too. Always felt some of the newer Zoid designs were a little light on the conventional armaments.

Very much so. It encouraged customization, but they didn't sell that many CPs, and certainly not like.. 'hey, extra weapons'

The original LS did have a peg underneath the belly so one could place a small weapon (like a guysack stinger gun).

right exactly, but then you can't have it on your guysack. A few zoids had more weapons than they could possibly hold at once (not that I didn't try anyway) but most had surplus pegs, not surplus weapons...

Surplus and customization is the great thing about zoids. While most zoids do have surplus pegs, Tomy did sell a lot of CPs that you can attach to them. What Tomy could have done was to get the weapons sprue and sell them as parts (e.g. guysack/godos or Shield Liger/Saber Tiger).

Yeah! Or preferably one that -wasn't- re-used on tons of zoids already

oh wow, the claws fold out AND .. (can be replaced?) by big spread claws.. that explains that.. sort of.. That's what we were trying to tell you in the first thread. The individual pictures are up on HLJ. (Assuming they're not on Koto's page, cause I don't see them.) www.hlj.com/product/KBYZD36

No wonder I didn't get it.. it's a fold-out AND a replacement.. once again I must express my sense of irony at the fact that a cheetah is the only big cat that can't do this...
