Japan didn't like it anywhere near as much as the US did, going by what I've seen of fandom.

Man im waiting for an HMM Zero! That would be AMAZING! And these look pretty nice, cant wait to see better photos of them in color and such. Does anyone think that they will make other Zoids or just these 2? that`ll depend on how well these sell I`d assume...and they might go the lazy route and do Shield Liger/ Genosaur.... I wouldn't call that a completely lazy route. The Shieldy would require almost all new bits.

Keep in mind we're talking an action figure, here, not a kit. So an all-new head, a new body, new tail, new feet, new upper legs... The only parts that would be the exactly same are the lower legs.

I'd be very interested in checking one out should they hit the street soon.
Very interesting indeed.

How so, Xehn? I'm trying to see what differences you speak of, but I guess I'm too dense ;D Nonetheless, I am definitely excited by the possibilities of this line! Will absolutely be picking these up when released...I just hope that they don't take too large of a chunk of my cash

(Also, is that a Professor Layton figure in one of the first images??)

That is, indeed, a Professor Layton. Also amongst figures shown at this event were: Nolanverse Batman Jurassic Park Tyrannosaurus Jack Skellington More Queen's Blade characters Xenomorph (as in Alien)
And Vishus, I dunno. The arms, neck, and head, something's off about them. =\ It's highly likely I'm imagining things, though... but... *shrug*

Only in that you haven't actually field tested the final product yet.
Screw the Geno Breaker, I want the Jurassic Park T. Rex!
