I noticed it too, but I counted it as another strike against the "Van Version" since although the vibrant yellow does better match the anime Blade Liger better, that same animated appeal also weakens the 'realism' that HMMs supposedly represent.
On the whole, I'm not surprised that they are trying to tout such miniscule changes as a special character custom-- it actually makes sense, considering the other 'special versions' from the regular model line (Van's Shield/Blade Liger and the Ruuji's Murasame, Mii's Lancetag, and Kotona's Rainbow Jerk also come to mind). My disappoint comes from the fact that after the Shubaltz Saber Tiger, I was really starting to hold the HMM line in higher regard.
Then again, I don't blame any company for trying to milk it's fans for all their worth. That's what they're supposed to do, after all.

Ruuji's Murasame was metal flake, at least, and came with a cool figure bonus. If this were metal flake blue...well, then I might be annoyed about having bought the red one. As it is, I like it more than the stock blue, so hey.

This seems redundant after the release of Leon's Bladey, but like everyone else I really like the anime figures and Zeekified Core and wish, albeit futilely, that these would be sold separately.
Of course, if I ever have an extra seventy bucks to throw around...
...no, I'd probably still use it to buy insulin for my cat or something. I don't like the HMM Bladey enough to buy a color-swapped duplicate of a kit I already own. :B

Perhaps that just makes me a fool for wanting to buy it, then. DX Then again, I no longer own my Bladey and wouldn't mind getting this one, since I've always loved the AB. Ah well, when ever preorders come up, I'll make up my mind.
Though I do wish the little figures came seperately, too. But I'd suppose it would turn out like the CP for the HMMs, almost impossible to get unless you're willing to buy on Yahoo!Japan or another Japanese auction site.
It's not terrible, though in the end I was hoping for a Night fight or Mirage color scheme. Those would've looked impressive on an HMM Liger, much better than a slight recolor of the original Bladey. Anyone else think those would have been better?

Aye, I would have also liked to see a Mirage. As unlikely as it may be, it still is not impossible. We already have what, four types of Command Wolves and three Shield Ligers?

No thanks on Mirage, but I'd be all over a Night Fight, and wouldn't mind a BI. Especially an anime-correct BI, with the blue legs and the gold claws/blades.

On ZP they're saying it's a convention LTD. That makes a lot more sense and I think it's more forgivable if they're producing it in low quantities. For the hardcore fans only I guess.

i don't care getting it either,whether its a rerelease of the previous one.the fact that they issued something like that means there's a difference to other kits as well.just looking at that Zeke attached to the core makes me want it more.they shud've that done that to the Genobreaker too,with Shadow.

They should make each of the organoids, both normal and attached to a zoid core. They should also make a Liger Zero and Berserk Fury with the black box. They will probably be released eventually, anyway.

y'know, something occured to me today...what with the Saber Tiger Schwarz, the Command Wolf Irvine and now the Blade Liger Van, how long till we get a tweaked Geno Breaker or Geno Saur with a Raven, Reese of Hiltz figures?or an Iron Kong Schwarz?frankly, with the molds and this direction, I can see the next HMM being not a Gojulas or a Dibison but a Gustav. JUST so they can milk it further with a Moonbey special version. of course, IF they were to do a Gustav, would they keep it toysized or anime sized...
