Hello. I've been a closet reader of this site for YEARS. I just, I never felt like I should join or not. I don't do well with new people and new places, mostly because I'm not too sure where to start. I'm a zoid RPer, been since before MMM and then long after MMM. Comment: I've actually been a member for a few months now, just haven't posted. I kinda lurked on Zoidspoison, though mostly I'm a Zoids RPer. I've started customizing my models more too now. In fact, I finished my first kitbash a month or two ago, and I just finished making my Whitz Wolf poseable. I'll be posting those here soonish as I wrap up my summer semester.

Hello, alexander66! I think the engineering of Zoid kits drew me into the hobby at least as much as the designs did. Most of us are still crawling along, waiting for the next relaunch that we hope catches fire and keeps burning for a while!

I love the HMM, but I miss a bit the motorized ones. I hope this "hopefully reboot" happens this years, since Im going to go living in Japana for a year...That would be perfect. |

Hey everyone! I'm Maiasa Liger or Mai (some might already know the name from tumblr or discord). Been stalking this forum for quite a while now, unsure whether I should join; but finally decided hey why not - I always love meeting new Zoiders!
I'm still kind of a noob to this fandom since it wasn't a thing where I grew up and I'm a lil too young as well. I only found out about and got into it when Aurora introduced me to The Glorious World Of Zoids™ not even two years ago. I'm sad that I missed the times of ZP, but I've been trying very hard to catch up on the rest!!! Still need to watch any show beyond CC/GF and my literature/lore knowledge is deplorably poor, but I'll get around to it eventually... eventually.....

Favorite Zoid(s): Murasame!! I also passionately collect all variations of the Shieldy, which is kind of a close second (and was also my first Zoid~). Though I basically love all the Ligers or felines in general, wufs as well, and a select few others.
Comment: HMM Shieldy was a mistake jk I really love collecting Tomy kits, especially the older and rarer ones. My personal goal is to acquire all Grade Ups + their units, including their boxes; and any OJR/OER Zoid is a welcome addition to my slowly growing family as well. I also like coming up with awesome custom colors schemes for Zoids and hope that one day I may just possess the skills to turn them into reality.

Hello, Mai! I think most of us miss the ZP days, but with enough interested folks there is no reason they can't be alive and well here!
The kitties are wonderful kits, and I do hope to see the Energy Liger reborn as an HMM in the future. My first love is still the windup and bat-op kits, but I have to admit that a well done HMM has a lot of appeal.

That makes you the second Austrian zoider I know of. Guessing you're familiar with Darthlenaplant on Tumblr?
It interests me to think German speakers can look at German zoids names and they actually have meaning.

Maethius: Thank you for the warm welcome. An HMM E-Liger would certainly be wonderful if well executed. Though for now I am still stuck getting my hands on the gorgeous original (or two). The older kits do have an appeal that the HMMs can't quite match. Vig: I actually do not know this person you mentioned other than having glimpsed their name among notes once or twice. It is always quite astonishing to discover there being other Zoiders in this small country lol! Being able to read the German names is both a blessing and a curse. Most of the time they feel very cringy to me and I advise against using a German name unless you are very well familiarized with the connotation it has. I personally would never xD

I agree with the bat-op kit appeal. I've always felt that the HMM line tends to make Zoids too skinny and sometimes they lose their personalities.

Long story short i left the forums because alot of tragedy surrounded my life causing me to pretty much lose all of my posessions including my zoids (ironic that i still have the organoids) but i'm slowly but surely trying to restart my life. Needless to say i still kept up with the forum and came back because of my passion for custom builds and seeing everyone's work got my creative juices flowing so to speak.
