Hi, everyone! I've been lurking around for a little bit, posting here and there, but I guess I haven't done an actual introduction yet, so here goes
Nick: I go by Ace in most online circles these days
Birthday: 11/26
City, State: Los Angeles CA
Occupation: Currently, I'm a driver with Lyft. Previously, I worked in a small business toy/collectables store
Hobbies/Interests: Sci-Fi, Anime (especially mech series including Gundam, Macross, Super Robot Wars, and of course Zoids), Toy collecting, model building/painting/crafting
Favorite Zoid(s): Salamander & Gojulas
Comment: I've been in and out of Zoids fandom for years. Ages ago I ran a website that hasn't existed in well over ten years (geocities, you are missed), and I got out of zoids for a long time. I recently got back in and have started rebuying some things I used to have we back when. It's been fun! I'm glad to be back in.

Thanks guys! you can't beat the classics! They're classics for a reason! Really, I loved all of the big classic dinosaur zoids (always had a thing for dinos) but those two always stood out to me as being the most memorable

Hey guys, getting back into zoids after about a 20 year hiatus.
My name is Jim, and I'm far to old to be playing with plastic model dinosaurs but oh well... I have many fond memories of building and playing with zoids growing up and recently bought a Gun Sniper Leena Special HMM as a re-entry into the hobby. I have done some painting commissions for battletech, warhammer, and other various miniatures games and hope to use those skills to enhance my zoids as my proficiency with an airbrush grows.
Some of my favorite zoids include: Snipe Master(hope to see an HMM of this one day),Gojulas, Iron Kong, and Dark/Red Horn.
looking forward to learning more about the hobby side of things and seeing some builds from other members.
-Jim

I'd like to think you're never too old for plastic model dinosaurs! Now's as good a time as any to come back into the fold, the HMM kits are amazing and look even better airbrushed and painted up.
I approve of your favorites list, too. Can't go wrong with the Gojulas!

Hi, Jim (typing "xmatchstichx" can be tricky since my keyboard recently broke the "x" key! Kinda makes one ask, "how, then, are you typing words with an "x" in them? Or the fact that you just said that your "x" key is broken in the first place?!) Anyway, welcome back to Zoids. The HMM kits are definitely an inspiring addition to the line... or is that interpretation? But, yes, us old guys still love robo-dinos. And beasts. And squids. And birds. Occasionally seahorses. Etc.

Well, to "still love" something, it generally has to have existed in the past, lol!

I did some painting on warhammer and battletech figures too and think your skills can match easily on zoids.

Hi im renz, I just recently joined because I had a question in mind regarding The geno breaker. I'm planning to get one but I'm still a noob at identifying which ones were released in a particular time and etc. What's the difference between the raven special and the other with the empire logo. Are there any concerns I should be looking out for or am I just overthinking hahaha. Anyway, here are some zoids I own: Energy Liger(red), liger zero X, Godos, Helcat, Saber Tiger and Blade Liger. Hi, welcome! As far as I know, there's no real difference between these two other than the box art- just a running box-art change.

Actually, I'm pretty sure later Geno Breakers (the ones without Raven and Shadow on the box) don't have the little Raven and Shadow figures (and only the ones with the red sticker at the bottom right will come with the bonus ZBCG card). The Zoid itself should be the same, though.

The Zoid itself should be the same, though. That's reassuring. I was worried since I read somewhere that a certain release had a drop in "quality" and I most certainly did not want that one.

Hi, Renzoallen!
Welcome to the boards! Geno Breaker has always been a favorite of mine, but I can't recall the particulars on it these days. My fav is the Jet (although I have the Ritter and haven't built it yet!)
