This is one big chapter. The fight scenes were really hard to write so if they aren’t all that good I apologize. Boy this took a long time.
Chapter 7
It is a clear day without one cloud over Blue city, which is befitting the epic showdown that is to come. The arena is too small to hold a battle of this magnitude so the location was to take place in the outskirts of Blue City. Mach Storm has a team meeting before the Battle Royal.
“We need to work together on this if we’re going to win. Sigma, Amy, and I will stick together and fight within close proximity of each other so we can have each other’s backs. R.D. is going to fight against Blake or Fen because R.D. is likely to their main target. The Killer Spiner will be a tough opponent to beat, but we can do it. Fen’s Liger Zero X, on the other hand is going to be a really tough opponent. We don’t have much data on it, but we know some key facts. Everyone got it,” Helmut reviewed. Amy, Sigma and R.D. all replied with a yes. R.D. wanted to face off against Blake first because they hadn’t done so in a long time.
Fen entered the battlefield just waiting to take down R.D. and Blake. Blake came to beat R.D. and Fen. Jake, Roger, Gilbert, and Sarah came to the battle wanting to defeat everyone, especially R.D. The Dralles brothers came in order to show their skill to Blue City.
The battle starts and Fen makes his move on what he believes to be the easiest targets, the Dralles team. Fen runs straight at the Killer Spiner with a charged Gungnir Horn. The Killer Spiner puts up a shield to deflect the attack. The Energy Liger jumps right over the Killer Spiner. Fen proceeds to unleash a bombardment with the Energy Gatling. The Dralles brothers know that they won’t last long without a shield, so they flee the scene before any more of their shield energy is wasted. Fen shrugs it off and goes looking for either R.D. or Blake. Meanwhile Jake and the others find Blake. Blake and Luke with the Gairyuki Death-troy face off against the Matrix Dragon. The Matrix Dragon launches its missiles while the Gairyuki Death-troy locks on to the Matrix Dragon. They lock and release a devastating blast at the Matrix Dragon. The Matrix Dragon dodges the attack and the Gairyuki Death-troy barely dodges the missiles. Jake then realizes that a one-on-one match with the Gairyuki Death-troy will end in a stalemate. Jake decides to split the Matrix Dragon back into its four component Zoids. Blake seeing what is happening defuses the Disbelow and releases Hien and Gekkou.
“It appears that we share the belief ‘divide and conquer’,” Jake said.
“Your Zoids are hardly a match for us. You had a better chance when they were the Matrix Dragon,” Blake retorted.
“We’ll see about that,” Roger snapped. Blake goes after Roger’s Unenlagia. Hien goes after Sarah’s Nightwise, Gekkou after Gilbert’s Mosasledge, leaving Luke to face off against Jake.
Luke mode-changes the Disbelow to the shooting mode, and then blasts the Leoblaze. Jake puts up his shield up to block it and runs towards Luke. Luke mode-changes the Disbelow to the Ultimate mode. Luke charges towards Jake. The two are about to collide when Jake turns the Leoblaze sideways to cut the Disbelow with the Zan blade. Luke reacts just in time and jumps over the blade, narrowly escaping a quick defeat. Jake turns the Leoblaze to face the Disbelow only to see it charging right at him. Jake puts up his shield and manages to avoid damage. The Disbelow launches micro missiles at the Leoblaze. Jake simply jumps onto and over the missiles. He delivers Luke a strike Lazer claw before the blink of an eye.
Gilbert zigzags away from Gekkou as it maintains a constant stream of shots aimed at the Mosasledge. Gilbert fires torpedoes at Gekkou allowing him to go on the offensive. The Mosasledge takes a big bite out of Gekkou.
Sarah continues to outmaneuver Hien in the Nightwise. The Hien keeps blasting the Nightwise, but because of the Nightwise’s high speed is too much for Hien. The Nightwise picks up altitude and then drops down and delivers a Crush claw to the Hien.
The Unenlagia shoots at Blake but the rounds fired don’t do enough damage to stop him. The Unenlagia runs away and gains distance. Roger gains enough space and snipes the Gairyuki. Blake tries to dodge but with the lack of thrusters the Zoid’s agility is severely impaired. The Zoid could only take one more snipe before losing so Blake needed to make his move quickly. Roger also had only two bullets left so the outcome of the battle rested on with those two shots. Roger carefully aims and fires before Blake can get too close to harm him. Blake makes a complete 180 before the shot makes contact. The panels on the Gairyuki’s tail absorb the shot. Roger was about to be defeated until the Leoblaze came out of nowhere and hit the Gairyuki with a Strike Lazer Claw. Jake was able to defeat Luke in time to come to Roger’s aid. Jake’s strike Lazer Claw destroyed the panels on the Gairyuki’s tail. Jake and Roger fuse the Leoblaze and Unenlagia to create the Double Arm Lizard. The Double Arm Lizard shoots the Gairyuki; however, the Luke was able to arrive just in time as well, so he took the shot for Blake. The Double Arm Lizard now out of ammunition, charges forward with a strike Lazer Claw. The Gairyuki runs into it baring its killer fangs. The Gairyuki falls. This time they were off to fight R.D.
The Dralles brothers were able to find Sigma, Helmut, and Amy soon after they escaped from Fen. The Dralles brothers brought Amy’s Koenig Wolf down with strike from the Killer Dome’s might claws. The Command Striker though, was not quite as easy for them. The battle is a stalemate between the two Fuzors. The Killer Spiner blocks any and all attempts at ranged combat with the shield, and the Command Striker does the same. Right as Helmut and Sigma charge in with the Zan breaker, Fen arrives with the Energy Liger.
“The Energy Liger? I thought R.D. turned it into a pile of junk. Who’s piloting that thing?” Sigma asked.
“Sigma we need to get out of here now. We won’t be able to take on the Energy Liger alone. We need R.D.’s help. Call R.D. while I get us out of here,” Helmut said.
“Fine. Hey R.D. we need your help over here. The Energy Liger’s come back,” Sigma called.
“I’m a little busy over here. I’m under attack from the Matrix Dragon,” R.D. replied.
“What do you mean Mat…?” Sigma started.
“I can’t talk now bye Sigma,” R.D. interrupted. The communication abruptly ends while Sigma wears a confused look.
“How are we supposed to take on the Energy Liger? It probably already took down the Killer Spiner by now,” Sigma complained.
“Hi Mach Storm! Like the new Zoid?” said Fen.
“Oh boy,” Helmut mumbled. The Energy Liger shoots at the Command Striker with the Energy Cannons. The shield doesn’t hold up for long and the Command Wolf loses its legs. The Command Wolf and Leostriker overload from staying fused too long. Fen left the two pilots to go find R.D. While Sigma and Helmut lost to Fen, R.D. had his hands full with the Matrix Dragon.
“So you’re the legendary R.D. I will admit that your Zoid is powerful, but the pilot leaves much to be wanted,” Jake sneered.
“I told you Jake, this kid’s nothing but a rookie with a supped up Zoid,” Roger jeered.
“Oh yeah! I’ll show you guys my power!” R.D. exclaimed. As he said that he let loose a Strike Lazer Claw attack. The Matrix Dragon dodges the attack. The Liger Zero Falcon goes in for a Strike Lazer Lance only to have a buster claw hacked off with a Chainsaw Blade. The Matrix Dragon stomps down the Liger Zero Falcon in midair causing it to plummet. The Matrix Dragon defeated the Liger Zero Falcon.
“No way…” R.D. started to say.
“Yes way. You’re no match for the Matrix Dragon and us. Ha ha ha,” Roger declared.
“Hey don’t get ahead of yourself. There’s still one contestant left Roger,” Gilbert said. When he said that a powerful beam shot right through one of the Matrix Dragons arms, with another shot just barely grazing it.
“Show yourself!” Jake demanded.
“Very well,” Fen replied. Fen shoots the Matrix Dragon with an Energy Gatling from above. The Matrix Dragon frantically looks for a way out of the shower of destruction.
“Come on Sarah get us out of here. You were put in charge of maneuvering for a reason,” Gilbert said with anxiety dripping with every word.
“I’m trying the best that I can. This pilot is no rookie,” Sarah replied. The Matrix Dragon narrowly avoids another blast from the Energy Cannon. The Energy Liger goes in for the kill with a Gungnir Horn. The Matrix Dragon parries the horn with the Chainsaw Blade. Fen takes the chance to deliver a point blank shot with the Energy Cannons. The Matrix Dragon loses again to Fen. Fen is declared winner of the Battle Royal.
Chapter 8
Fen goes to Mach Storm, and is greeted with a negative vibe. With unnerving looks from the crew of Mach Storm, Fen boldly walks up to Hop.
“I’m here to make amends for the battle Royal,” Fen said.
“How do you suppose to do that? The Leostriker was heaily damaged because of you, and the Command Wolf is now irreparable. Anything short of replacing our Zoids won’t cut it,” Hop sarcastically remarked.
“Oh that’s new good news. I came here for the sole purpose of giving you the needed parts to repair the Leostriker, as well as replace the Command Wolf I destroyed. So where is Helmut? I would like to speak with him,” Fen replied. He was met with a blank stare from Hop.
“He’s probably in the hangar or something,” Hop responded sheepishly. Fen thanked Hop and went to the hangar.
“Hi Helmut. I’m Fen, the guy who busted up your Command Wolf. I came here to make amends,” Fen said.
“How do you suppose to make amends? I’ve had this Command Wolf for years and now it can’t even move,” Helmut snapped.
“I came here to give you an entirely new Zoid. Please come with me and I’ll show you,” Fen said with a tone of impatience. The two go to Fen’s garage. There they see a Zoid, the likes of which Helmut never saw before.
“It’s the Whitz Wolf. It’s a brand new Zoid from Zoitec. My dad is one of the top engineers there and he asked me to find a good pilot for it,” Fen remarked with a hint of pride.
“I can’t accept this,” Helmut said.
“Yeah you can. After all I’m throwing in another Zoid, the Savinga. It’s an aerial Zoid, since there’s no pilot for it on your team, I’m giving it dummy pilot system. The Whitz Wolf and Savinga are fuzors you see, so they must come with each other. Helmut, please take the two. I’ll throw in an air freshener too,” Fen said with the tone of a car salesman.
“You’re not going to take no for an answer are you? Fine how much do I owe you?” Helmut asked.
“Free of charge. After all I did destroy your Command Wolf that you held dear. This is my way of saying sorry,” Fen answered. Helmut takes the Whitz Wolf, Savinga, and Pine Fresh air freshener back to Mach Storm. Fen then calls his father.
“Hey dad or should I say Dr. Haka. Well I got a good pilot for the Whitz Wolf. Everything is going according to plan. I’ve got a pilot lined up for the Rayse Tiger too. Anything suspicious going on at Zi-Arms?” Fen said.
“You can call me dad anywhere but the lab. Good job and it looks like Zi-Arms got the last core,” Dr. Haka replied.
“Snap. I was really hoping they wouldn’t. I thought the Death Raser was bad. We gotta makes sure that Zi-arms doesn’t get much stronger. Bye dad,” said Fen. Fen then departs the garage.
Fen finds Blake at the bar, thankfully this time he didn’t fall over himself.
“Hey Blake. I heard your Zoid got totaled in the Battle Royal. Well I…” Fen started.
“What’s it to you?” Blake interrupted.
“As I was saying, I want to help you out. I have a new Zoid for you. I’ll show it to you, just come with me,” Fen said with a hint of irritation. Blake gives in and the two go to Fen’s garage.
“This is the Rayse Tiger. It has a similar ray absorbing panel system as your Gairyuki. The Zoid’s bark is nowhere near as bad as its bite. It can channel its energy into its fangs for attack called the Explode Bite. This attack can take down a Zoid like the Gojulas Giga in one hit. It has short to mid-range weapon weaponry but all in all it’s a close combat Zoid,” Fen explained.
“Not bad. I’ll take it,” Blake responded. Blake leaves the garage in the Rayse Tiger. Fen smiles how he was able to complete one part of his mission.
How was it? This one took me a few hours to write and rewrite. Yes, I had to make my original character Fen be the one to win the Battle Royal. No way R.D. is winning it, in my fanfic he lost all main character winning privileges. I hope this fulfilled your expectations. Sorry I didn’t put any action in chapter 8. The thing is with chapter 7 being all action, chapter 8 needed to further the plot plus after writing chapter 7 I need a break from fight scenes. So now it became a little Zoids Fuzors meets the last part of the battle story. But don’t think it’s become predictable now. It is a bit of an adaptation from it. I’m still open to suggestions, criticism, and advice. Oh and also praise. By obligation, I’m a noob.
The fight scenes in Chapter 7 are going to be hard to beat. We got a few new Zoids in the last chapter. Also I know that this story might seem to be predictable now… I mean I did say outright that it was an adaptation of the 3 tiger battle story. Don’t worry I’ll make sure to keep the story as interesting as it’s always been if not more so. Also I know I’ve been slower with the release of the chapters recently but that’s because I’ve been writing longer chapters. I mean just look at the length of the first 2 chapters.
Chapter 9
Marvis escapes from prison a second time, but this time he was assisted. He was told that when he got out of prison to go to Red City. Marvis follows the instructions and there he finds Reynard who leads him to the Zi-Arms headquarters, the Zi-Arms president calls Marvis and Reynard into his office.
“So you’re the one who got me out of prison. What do you need?” said Marvis.
“Yes I know all about your past, Marvis, but your future is now in my hands. From now on you shall go by the alias Miv. I would like you to meet your new teammate, Atherpan. You two are now to show the world the power of Zi-Arms Zoids. We have found out that Zoitec has given their Tiger Zoids to two pilots in Blue City. I want you to train on your Zoids, so you can destroy those Zoids. Miv, Atherpan, go and start your training now, I must speak with Reynard in private,” the Zi-arms president said. Miv and Atherpan go to the Zoid hangar, to pilot their new Zoids.
“So which one’s mine?” Miv asked the nearest mechanic. Miv was directed to a Zoid that had the same sinister look to it he had, the Death Raser. The mechanic explained to Miv the specs of the Zoid and also the specs of its Fuzor, the Parablade. The Parablade is also equipped with a dummy system in order to give Marvis full control over the Zoids. Atherpan on the other hand quietly finds the Brastle Tiger and climbs into the cockpit and immediately starts his training.
“This guy is the life of the party isn’t he?” Miv sarcastically commented. Miv heads out in the Death Raser with the Parablade following in quick succession.
Meanwhile in Blue City Helmut trains with the Whitz Wolf, and Blake trains with the Rayse Tiger.
“This Zoid certainly handles better than the Command and the Savinga is quite strong as well,” Dan remarked to Helmut going through the specs of the Whitz Wolf on his laptop screen.
“Yeah. I should thank Fen for the new Zoid. The Whitz Wolf certainly does pack a punch,” Helmut replied.
“OK Helmut now we should try fusing the two Zoids together and see what we get,” Dan said.
“Your right Dan. Here goes. Fuzors combine!” Helmut said. The Savinga and Whitz Wolf fused to form the Whitz Tiger. The Zoid proved to be adept at close to mid range combat, which was just Helmut’s specialty.
Blake trains with the Rayse Tiger finding the Zoid to be more and more to his liking. Fen arrived much to Blake’s surprise. Fen had brought the Ptera Rayse, a fuzor to the Rayse Tiger and that it was controlled by a dummy system. Blake fused the two Zoids and grew to like his new Zoid. Luke on the other hand was displeased that the Gairyuki he worked on for Blake. Fen having sensed this and decided to speak with Luke.
“Hey Luke, I’m sorry about how your Gairyuki was replaced with the Rayse Tiger because of me. The thing is Zoitec really needs a great pilot like Blake. Also I know that the Disbelow, was heavily damaged in the Battle Royal, so I’ve got a replacement for it, the Cannon Diver. I know the whole turtle thing makes you think it’s a pretty slow Zoid. The thing is it’s a pretty fast Zoid, and it packs the big guns. The beam launcher can deal some pretty bad damage and the missile launcher is nothing to scoff at,” Fen said.
“Ok Fen. Thanks for the new Zoid. You’re pretty good guy,” Luke replied. Fen went home.
Later the Brastle Tiger appeared and attacked Blake. Atherpan kept up a steady series of attempted tackles. The Rayse Tiger was stuck on the defensive; it couldn’t get enough time in between tackles to attempt an attack. The Brastle Tiger went in for a tackle and was hit with a few missiles. The Zoid’s armor was strong enough to take the attack and not take damage. Atherpan distracted, Blake charged an explode bite. Atherpan realizes the attack and slashes at the Rayse Tiger before Blake can finish charging. Luke shoots the Brastle Tiger, but his shots can’t connect. Atherpan charges at Luke and doges every shot Luke takes. He shoots the Cannon Diver and it goes down. The Rayse Tiger tries to recover from the slash and Blake calls the Ptera Rayse. The Zoids fuse and take to the skies. Atherpan tries to shoot it down but Blake outmaneuvers him. He dives in and picks up Luke and they leave the Brastle Tiger behind. Blake wonders why a strange Zoid attacked them. He decides to solve the mystery on his own without the P.K.B.
At the same time Black and Luke were attacked by the Brastle Tiger, Miv attacked Helmut.
The Death Raser blasts the Whitz Wolf with the Electric discharger. Helmut narrowly avoids it. The Death Raser runs forward shooting with the lazer guns. Helmut zigzags and dodges them while shooting right back at the Death Raser with the electron hyper cannons. Neither Zoids can hit each other. Helmut keeps his distance, eyeing the plasma blades.
“Hey Helmut. You miss me?” Miv sarcastically asked.
“What? Marvis is that you? How’d you get out of prison again,” Helmut inquired dumbstruck.
“The same way I got this Zoid, with a little help. The name’s Miv now, Helmut,” Miv answered. The Parablade arrives to the scene and shoots at the Whitz Wolf. The two Zoids keep the wolf dancing around. The Savinga then nearly slashes through the Parablade, but Miv counters the wing slashers with a plasma blade. The Savinga goes back to Helmut and they fuse the two Zoids into the Whtiz Tiger. Miv fuses the Death Raser and Parablade into the Delcato Dragon. The Delcato Dragon takes to the air and a shower of lazers and plasma rain on the Whitz Tiger. The Whtiz Tiger puts up a shield and runs toward a cliff. The Whtiz Tiger scales the cliff, jumps toward the Delcato Dragon, and opens fire. The shots miss and the Whitz Tiger falls to the ground. When Miv begins to fire the electron discharger, R.D. arrived on the scene and scares him away with a strike lazer claw. They head back to Mach storm worrying over Marvis’ reappearance with a new Zoid.
The first fight with the Tiger Zoids. I hope I didn’t disappoint, there will be more to come. Also I didn’t know where to put it in the story so here it is, the Zi-arms corporation’s president’s name is Junwer. I’m really bad with names… if anyone has suggestions instead of the names I got please do tell me. Also since Blake is still R.D.'s rival, I gave him the Rayse as a throwback to Chaotic Century. Remember the days when Raven piloted a Saber Tiger and Van, a Shield Liger? Tiger vs. Liger rivalry. Instead of noob this time I’m going to go with chump. The word is just more fun to say in my opinion. I’m a chump. Criticism, advice, and suggestions are still welcome.

“I’m a little busy over here. I’m under attack from the Matrix Dragon,” R.D. replied.
“What do you mean Mat…?” Sigma started.
“I can’t talk now bye Sigma,” R.D. interrupted. The communication abruptly ends while Sigma wears a confused look.
“How are we supposed to take on the Energy Liger? It probably already took down the Killer Spiner by now,” Sigma complained.
“Hi Mach Storm! Like the new Zoid?” said Fen.
“Oh boy,” Helmut mumbled. The Energy Liger shoots at the Command Striker with the Energy Cannons. The shield doesn’t hold up for long and the Command Wolf loses its legs. The Command Wolf and Leostriker overload from staying fused too long. Fen left the two pilots to go find R.D. While Sigma and Helmut lost to Fen, R.D. had his hands full with the Matrix Dragon.
“So you’re the legendary R.D. I will admit that your Zoid is powerful, but the pilot leaves much to be wanted,” Jake sneered.
“I told you Jake, this kid’s nothing but a rookie with a supped up Zoid,” Roger jeered.
“Oh yeah! I’ll show you guys my power!” R.D. exclaimed. As he said that he let loose a Strike Lazer Claw attack. The Matrix Dragon dodges the attack. The Liger Zero Falcon goes in for a Strike Lazer Lance only to have a buster claw hacked off with a Chainsaw Blade. The Matrix Dragon stomps down the Liger Zero Falcon in midair causing it to plummet. The Matrix Dragon defeated the Liger Zero Falcon.
“No way…” R.D. started to say.
“Yes way. You’re no match for the Matrix Dragon and us. Ha ha ha,” Roger declared.
“Hey don’t get ahead of yourself. There’s still one contestant left Roger,” Gilbert said. When he said that a powerful beam shot right through one of the Matrix Dragons arms, with another shot just barely grazing it.
“Show yourself!” Jake demanded.
“Very well,” Fen replied. Fen shoots the Matrix Dragon with an Energy Gatling from above. The Matrix Dragon frantically looks for a way out of the shower of destruction.
“Come on Sarah get us out of here. You were put in charge of maneuvering for a reason,” Gilbert said with anxiety dripping with every word.
“I’m trying the best that I can. This pilot is no rookie,” Sarah replied. The Matrix Dragon narrowly avoids another blast from the Energy Cannon. The Energy Liger goes in for the kill with a Gungnir Horn. The Matrix Dragon parries the horn with the Chainsaw Blade. Fen takes the chance to deliver a point blank shot with the Energy Cannons. The Matrix Dragon loses again to Fen. Fen is declared winner of the Battle Royal.
Chapter 8
Fen goes to Mach Storm, and is greeted with a negative vibe. With unnerving looks from the crew of Mach Storm, Fen boldly walks up to Hop.
“I’m here to make amends for the battle Royal,” Fen said.
“How do you suppose to do that? The Leostriker was heaily damaged because of you, and the Command Wolf is now irreparable. Anything short of replacing our Zoids won’t cut it,” Hop sarcastically remarked.
“Oh that’s new good news. I came here for the sole purpose of giving you the needed parts to repair the Leostriker, as well as replace the Command Wolf I destroyed. So where is Helmut? I would like to speak with him,” Fen replied. He was met with a blank stare from Hop.
“He’s probably in the hangar or something,” Hop responded sheepishly. Fen thanked Hop and went to the hangar.
“Hi Helmut. I’m Fen, the guy who busted up your Command Wolf. I came here to make amends,” Fen said.
“How do you suppose to make amends? I’ve had this Command Wolf for years and now it can’t even move,” Helmut snapped.
“I came here to give you an entirely new Zoid. Please come with me and I’ll show you,” Fen said with a tone of impatience. The two go to Fen’s garage. There they see a Zoid, the likes of which Helmut never saw before.
“It’s the Whitz Wolf. It’s a brand new Zoid from Zoitec. My dad is one of the top engineers there and he asked me to find a good pilot for it,” Fen remarked with a hint of pride.
“I can’t accept this,” Helmut said.
“Yeah you can. After all I’m throwing in another Zoid, the Savinga. It’s an aerial Zoid, since there’s no pilot for it on your team, I’m giving it dummy pilot system. The Whitz Wolf and Savinga are fuzors you see, so they must come with each other. Helmut, please take the two. I’ll throw in an air freshener too,” Fen said with the tone of a car salesman.
“You’re not going to take no for an answer are you? Fine how much do I owe you?” Helmut asked.
“Free of charge. After all I did destroy your Command Wolf that you held dear. This is my way of saying sorry,” Fen answered. Helmut takes the Whitz Wolf, Savinga, and Pine Fresh air freshener back to Mach Storm. Fen then calls his father.
“Hey dad or should I say Dr. Haka. Well I got a good pilot for the Whitz Wolf. Everything is going according to plan. I’ve got a pilot lined up for the Rayse Tiger too. Anything suspicious going on at Zi-Arms?” Fen said.
“You can call me dad anywhere but the lab. Good job and it looks like Zi-Arms got the last core,” Dr. Haka replied.
“Snap. I was really hoping they wouldn’t. I thought the Death Raser was bad. We gotta makes sure that Zi-arms doesn’t get much stronger. Bye dad,” said Fen. Fen then departs the garage.
Fen finds Blake at the bar, thankfully this time he didn’t fall over himself.
“Hey Blake. I heard your Zoid got totaled in the Battle Royal. Well I…” Fen started.
“What’s it to you?” Blake interrupted.
“As I was saying, I want to help you out. I have a new Zoid for you. I’ll show it to you, just come with me,” Fen said with a hint of irritation. Blake gives in and the two go to Fen’s garage.
“This is the Rayse Tiger. It has a similar ray absorbing panel system as your Gairyuki. The Zoid’s bark is nowhere near as bad as its bite. It can channel its energy into its fangs for attack called the Explode Bite. This attack can take down a Zoid like the Gojulas Giga in one hit. It has short to mid-range weapon weaponry but all in all it’s a close combat Zoid,” Fen explained.
“Not bad. I’ll take it,” Blake responded. Blake leaves the garage in the Rayse Tiger. Fen smiles how he was able to complete one part of his mission.
How was it? This one took me a few hours to write and rewrite. Yes, I had to make my original character Fen be the one to win the Battle Royal. No way R.D. is winning it, in my fanfic he lost all main character winning privileges. I hope this fulfilled your expectations. Sorry I didn’t put any action in chapter 8. The thing is with chapter 7 being all action, chapter 8 needed to further the plot plus after writing chapter 7 I need a break from fight scenes. So now it became a little Zoids Fuzors meets the last part of the battle story. But don’t think it’s become predictable now. It is a bit of an adaptation from it. I’m still open to suggestions, criticism, and advice. Oh and also praise. By obligation, I’m a noob.
The fight scenes in Chapter 7 are going to be hard to beat. We got a few new Zoids in the last chapter. Also I know that this story might seem to be predictable now… I mean I did say outright that it was an adaptation of the 3 tiger battle story. Don’t worry I’ll make sure to keep the story as interesting as it’s always been if not more so. Also I know I’ve been slower with the release of the chapters recently but that’s because I’ve been writing longer chapters. I mean just look at the length of the first 2 chapters.
Chapter 9
Marvis escapes from prison a second time, but this time he was assisted. He was told that when he got out of prison to go to Red City. Marvis follows the instructions and there he finds Reynard who leads him to the Zi-Arms headquarters, the Zi-Arms president calls Marvis and Reynard into his office.
“So you’re the one who got me out of prison. What do you need?” said Marvis.
“Yes I know all about your past, Marvis, but your future is now in my hands. From now on you shall go by the alias Miv. I would like you to meet your new teammate, Atherpan. You two are now to show the world the power of Zi-Arms Zoids. We have found out that Zoitec has given their Tiger Zoids to two pilots in Blue City. I want you to train on your Zoids, so you can destroy those Zoids. Miv, Atherpan, go and start your training now, I must speak with Reynard in private,” the Zi-arms president said. Miv and Atherpan go to the Zoid hangar, to pilot their new Zoids.
“So which one’s mine?” Miv asked the nearest mechanic. Miv was directed to a Zoid that had the same sinister look to it he had, the Death Raser. The mechanic explained to Miv the specs of the Zoid and also the specs of its Fuzor, the Parablade. The Parablade is also equipped with a dummy system in order to give Marvis full control over the Zoids. Atherpan on the other hand quietly finds the Brastle Tiger and climbs into the cockpit and immediately starts his training.
“This guy is the life of the party isn’t he?” Miv sarcastically commented. Miv heads out in the Death Raser with the Parablade following in quick succession.
Meanwhile in Blue City Helmut trains with the Whitz Wolf, and Blake trains with the Rayse Tiger.
“This Zoid certainly handles better than the Command and the Savinga is quite strong as well,” Dan remarked to Helmut going through the specs of the Whitz Wolf on his laptop screen.
“Yeah. I should thank Fen for the new Zoid. The Whitz Wolf certainly does pack a punch,” Helmut replied.
“OK Helmut now we should try fusing the two Zoids together and see what we get,” Dan said.
“Your right Dan. Here goes. Fuzors combine!” Helmut said. The Savinga and Whitz Wolf fused to form the Whitz Tiger. The Zoid proved to be adept at close to mid range combat, which was just Helmut’s specialty.
Blake trains with the Rayse Tiger finding the Zoid to be more and more to his liking. Fen arrived much to Blake’s surprise. Fen had brought the Ptera Rayse, a fuzor to the Rayse Tiger and that it was controlled by a dummy system. Blake fused the two Zoids and grew to like his new Zoid. Luke on the other hand was displeased that the Gairyuki he worked on for Blake. Fen having sensed this and decided to speak with Luke.
“Hey Luke, I’m sorry about how your Gairyuki was replaced with the Rayse Tiger because of me. The thing is Zoitec really needs a great pilot like Blake. Also I know that the Disbelow, was heavily damaged in the Battle Royal, so I’ve got a replacement for it, the Cannon Diver. I know the whole turtle thing makes you think it’s a pretty slow Zoid. The thing is it’s a pretty fast Zoid, and it packs the big guns. The beam launcher can deal some pretty bad damage and the missile launcher is nothing to scoff at,” Fen said.
“Ok Fen. Thanks for the new Zoid. You’re pretty good guy,” Luke replied. Fen went home.
Later the Brastle Tiger appeared and attacked Blake. Atherpan kept up a steady series of attempted tackles. The Rayse Tiger was stuck on the defensive; it couldn’t get enough time in between tackles to attempt an attack. The Brastle Tiger went in for a tackle and was hit with a few missiles. The Zoid’s armor was strong enough to take the attack and not take damage. Atherpan distracted, Blake charged an explode bite. Atherpan realizes the attack and slashes at the Rayse Tiger before Blake can finish charging. Luke shoots the Brastle Tiger, but his shots can’t connect. Atherpan charges at Luke and doges every shot Luke takes. He shoots the Cannon Diver and it goes down. The Rayse Tiger tries to recover from the slash and Blake calls the Ptera Rayse. The Zoids fuse and take to the skies. Atherpan tries to shoot it down but Blake outmaneuvers him. He dives in and picks up Luke and they leave the Brastle Tiger behind. Blake wonders why a strange Zoid attacked them. He decides to solve the mystery on his own without the P.K.B.
At the same time Black and Luke were attacked by the Brastle Tiger, Miv attacked Helmut.
The Death Raser blasts the Whitz Wolf with the Electric discharger. Helmut narrowly avoids it. The Death Raser runs forward shooting with the lazer guns. Helmut zigzags and dodges them while shooting right back at the Death Raser with the electron hyper cannons. Neither Zoids can hit each other. Helmut keeps his distance, eyeing the plasma blades.
“Hey Helmut. You miss me?” Miv sarcastically asked.
“What? Marvis is that you? How’d you get out of prison again,” Helmut inquired dumbstruck.
“The same way I got this Zoid, with a little help. The name’s Miv now, Helmut,” Miv answered. The Parablade arrives to the scene and shoots at the Whitz Wolf. The two Zoids keep the wolf dancing around. The Savinga then nearly slashes through the Parablade, but Miv counters the wing slashers with a plasma blade. The Savinga goes back to Helmut and they fuse the two Zoids into the Whtiz Tiger. Miv fuses the Death Raser and Parablade into the Delcato Dragon. The Delcato Dragon takes to the air and a shower of lazers and plasma rain on the Whitz Tiger. The Whtiz Tiger puts up a shield and runs toward a cliff. The Whtiz Tiger scales the cliff, jumps toward the Delcato Dragon, and opens fire. The shots miss and the Whitz Tiger falls to the ground. When Miv begins to fire the electron discharger, R.D. arrived on the scene and scares him away with a strike lazer claw. They head back to Mach storm worrying over Marvis’ reappearance with a new Zoid.
The first fight with the Tiger Zoids. I hope I didn’t disappoint, there will be more to come. Also I didn’t know where to put it in the story so here it is, the Zi-arms corporation’s president’s name is Junwer. I’m really bad with names… if anyone has suggestions instead of the names I got please do tell me. Also since Blake is still R.D.'s rival, I gave him the Rayse as a throwback to Chaotic Century. Remember the days when Raven piloted a Saber Tiger and Van, a Shield Liger? Tiger vs. Liger rivalry. Instead of noob this time I’m going to go with chump. The word is just more fun to say in my opinion. I’m a chump. Criticism, advice, and suggestions are still welcome.
