Zoids fuzors fanfic
I’m not much of a writer and I’m obviously a noobie to the forum… but I tried with this story and I hope it is enjoyable and if not I apologize for it. I’m only posting two chapters right now because if the story is disliked then I won’t waste any more time on it. I consolidated the first five chapters into one post. There's still more to come though.
Chapter one
Thunder strikes down on Red City while it is under attack from the matrix dragon. Many Zi-fighters attempted to defeat it; however, they had all failed. The strength of quad-fuzor was too great for the Zi-fighters of Red city. The Matrix Dragon had received only minimal damage against so many fighters.
“Our Matrix Dragon is invincible. You can’t beat us with your puny zoids,” exclaimed Vulcan, while destroying yet another zoid. Lightning struck again and the three pilots laugh at the futile resistance. But one zoid slowly approaches the Matrix Dragon. It is too dark to see what Zoid it is, and Miguel searches for data on it.
Lightning reveals it to be a liger zero, yet it was different from R.D.’s liger zero. Standing before them was the Liger Zero X. The Liger Zero X charges its electron drivers, while the Matrix dragon charges towards it. Right before the Matrix Dragon could slash the Liger Zero X with it’s devastating blade the Liger Zero X unleashes it’s attack on the Matrix Dragon. The Matrix Dragon is heavily damaged from the attack, but is still capable of fighting. It launches its missiles at the Liger Zero X, but it was futile. The Liger Zero used its optical camouflage to dodge them. The Liger Zero X then goes on the offensive for the first time. It extends its blades and cuts through one of the Matrix Dragon’s legs.
“No way… The Matrix Dragon was supposed to be unbeatable. It’s just like that time with that liger that beat us in one shot,” Watts said in disbelief. He, Miguel, and Vulcan find themselves at the mercy of the Liger Zero X.
“You three were too arrogant of your Zoid’s power, and you relied too heavily on it. Instead of increasing you skills as pilots you simply increased your egos. That is why I was able to defeat you. I’ll leave you to the P.K.B.,” said the mysterious pilot of the Liger Zero X. The Peace Keeping Bureau came and arrested Watts, Miguel, and Vulcan.
Chapter 2
It is one year after Alpha’s attempted coup, and the city has been rebuilt anew. It is another beautiful day in Blue city while R.D. takes Matt out on a training exercise. Mach storm was able to purchase a second Leoblaze. Matt’s skill as a pilot had grown by a large margin thanks to R.D.’s training. Their mock battle ends with R.D.’s victory and the two head back to mach storm.
“R.D., you were supposed to clean up the place before you took Matt out on a training exercise! Also there’s a letter for you,” Sweet angrily shouted.
“Ok, ok Sweet I got the point. I’ll take care of it after I read the letter," R.D. replied.
The letter was atcually a letter of challenge for R.D. specifically rather than Mach Storm. The challenger requested to have a one on one match with R.D. in the arena the next day. The challenger leaves the name “Fen” to R.D, while he wonders whom this mysterious Fen is.
“R.D. you shouldn’t go. You don’t know what this Fen is capable of. What if it is a trap?” warned Helmut.
“Aw Helmut there’s no need to worry. Me and the Liger Zero Falcon can take on anyone,” R.D asserted. He eagerly awaits the upcoming battle.
The next day arrives and R.D. goes to the arena. There waiting for him is the Liger Zero X.
“Thank you for coming. I apologize for not requesting the match in person, but I had business to take care yesterday, so I was unable to,” said Fen.
“Don’t worry about it. Let’s get this show on the road!” said R.D.
“Certainly R.D. I hope I prove to be a worthy opponent for you,” stated Fen. The liger Zero Falcon takes flight and R.D. unleashes a strike lazer claw. Fen turns on the optical camouflage and dodges it, taking R.D, by surprise. Fen shoots R.D. with his shock cannon; however, R.D. was able to block it with his shield. Fen then starts to charge his electron divers and R.D. decides to hit Fen with another Strike Lazer claw. Fen stops the charging and puts up a shield just in time. Fen then starts to run towards R.D. and attempts to scale the wall in order to get to R.D., but he misses by a hair. R.D. gains altitude in order to evade fen’s attacks. Fen charges the electron divers one more time. They finish charging and Fen releases the attack. R.D. blocks it with his shield, but unfortunately the shield’s energy was depleted. R.D. charges in with a strike lazer lance attack while Fen brings out his blades and runs toward R.D. at full speed. The match ends in a draw with both zoids damaged. Fen congratulates R.D. in his skill. R.D. goes back to Mach storm with quite a bit of work for Dan to do.
“So this is the legendary R.D.’s strength. He certainly is as strong as the rumors say. Now I’m off to see how strong this Blake is,” Fen said to himself as he left the arena.
I hope it was alright. I would appreciate all criticism, and don't hold back, because I want to get better at writing.
All right so I edited and added dialogue. Hope it became more of a story instead of synopsis.
Well thanks to all my support … all of two replies to my fanfic I wrote another chapter. Here goes and I put in dialogue on the first try. Also some more of Fen’s character is revealed in this chapter. I wanted him to be mysterious at first and the reader would know more of his character as the story goes on. Also I changed the title form Clash of the Ligers to Fuzors next generation because I think it makes more sense. After all it's a Fuzor's fanfic.
Chapter 3
Blake unleashes a barrage of bullets onto some Guysacks; however, they just keeping coming back for more. Blake attempts another bombardment, yet the Guysacks charge onward unharmed.
“Well Blake your aim is even better even though it was great already,” praised Luke while he turned off the Guysack holograms.
“Still I’m not going to stop until I become better than R.D. He played the hero against the Seismosaurus, when I couldn’t do anything,” said Blake.
“Sorry Blake it was all my fault. If you didn’t have to save me…” Luke apologized.
“It’s not your fault Luke. Don’t keep blaming yourself all the time. That’s what friends do,” assured Blake. The two go to the bar to relax from a day of training.
Blake and Luke order some drinks to celebrate their new team, Victory Hammer.
The two have been on a good streak recently. Luke has gotten better with the Disbelow, and the two make a good team. At the bar Fen losing the fifth game of darts in a row reluctantly decides to stick to Zoid battles. Fen then spots Blake and his spirits pick up instantly. He runs over to Blake and nearly trips over himself getting there.
“Hi Blake…” Fen started to say.
“I’m busy right now leave me alone,” interrupted Blake.
“I just want a second of your time Blake,” said Fen.
“Fine but hurry up,” snapped Blake.
“Well I just want a one-on-one match against you. The rumors were right about you having a bad attitude. I wonder if they’re also right about your skill as a pilot,” said Fen.
“Fine then. You’re going to wish you didn’t challenge me. I hope you have money for repairs. How does tomorrow sound?” asked Blake.
“Tomorrow’s fine and we’ll see who needs the repairs tomorrow. Bye,” Fen replied.
“Are you sure about this Blake? What if he’s really strong?” Luke worried.
“He’s just some wannabe punk. I can take him on easy. There’s no need to worry,” assured Blake.
After much eager anticipation from Fen tomorrow finally came. Fen arrived at the arena early because he was so exited he couldn’t wait another minute for the match to start.
“Alright X this is a big day today. You think you can handle it?” asked Fen. The Liger Zero X growled to reply.
“I know you can handle it buddy,” said Fen. As he finished that sentence Blake entered the scene with his Gairyuki.
“There’s still a chance for you to back out before you get hurt kid,” said Blake.
“No way! I came here for a battle and I’m sticking it out till the end,” replied Fen.
“Suit yourself, just don’t go crying home to mommy when I beat you,” jeered Blake. Fen ran to the right of the Gairyuki. Blake shot at Fen with his beam vulcans, but Fen was able to evade them. Fen then stopped running around altogether, and just froze in place. Blake took this chance to use his Ray-absorbing Charged particle cannon. Fen charged his electron drivers. The Blake unleashed a beam of destruction on the liger, but it still wouldn’t move. The beam connected with the Zoid before it could counter with the electron drivers. The smoke cleared to reveal the Zoid disappeared.
“Things aren’t always as they seem, Blake. The Liger Zero X can project an image of itself and has optical camouflage. I can’t believe you fell for that. It’s the oldest trick in the book!” Fen taunted. Fen revealed that he was charging his electron drivers to the left of the Gairyuki, and released his own beam of destruction. His connected with Gekkou’s shield and Hien bombarded the Liger Zero X. Fen put up a shield and started running towards the Gairyuki. He rammed right into the lightly armored Zoid and took Blake by surprise; however, he wouldn’t go down that easy. Hien and Gekkou returned to the Gairyuki and Blake bared the Zoids fangs at Fen. Fen wasn’t impressed, so he extended his blades and charged Blake with hopes of beating him with this last move. Blake anticipated another melee attack from Fen and jumped high in order to dodge the attack and then to come back down and smash the Liger. The Gairyuki dropped down right on top of the Liger. Fen smirked and it is revealed he pointed the blades upwards to impale the Gairyuki showing he was two steps ahead of Blake the entire time, but he showed restraint and only scratched the bottom so as not to harm the Zoid too much. Blake realized Fen had won the fight right there and reluctantly admitted defeat.
“Good game Blake. I thought I was going to lose for a minute there when your one Zoid became three. I wasn’t expecting that,” Fen admitted. Blake simply grumbled and left the arena. Fen left the arena and went back his home, a large garage. In that garage stood another liger… the energy liger.
Why does Fen have that Zoid? This question and more will be answered in the next chapter of Zoids Fuzors the Next generation.
I hope this was better than the first two. Please do give me constructive criticism. Yeah Blake's new team name is kind of lame but i wanted it to be a reference to his zoid the gairyuki (shining victory dragon) and a throwback to Savage hammer. Now i don't think the names dragon hammer or shining hammer are better. If you have a better name than what I cam up with, please share it because if I agree its better I will change it (lots of things are better than victory hammer). If you don't like the "narrator" at the end it will cease to exist.
Chapter 4
Fen stares intently at the Energy Liger and begins to remember the day he got it. *Cue flashback*
Traversing the desert with his sights set on Blue City. Fen starts his journey. His eyes full of hope to become an even greater Zi-fighter, he travels onwards into a canyon pass. Suddenly another Zoid is picked up the radar. Fen quickly reacts and puts up his shield in time to block some missiles.
“Oh looks like you won’t go down that easy,” a mysterious voice snorted.
“What was that for? I didn’t do anything to you,” Fen angrily inquired.
“Oh it is just your bad luck to have come across me. I’m in a bad mood and I need some sucker to take my anger out on,” the mysterious voice replied.
“Come out in the open and I’ll take you on,” Fen shouted.
“Alright then you asked for it,” the mysterious voiced answered. Ray Kong enters the scene. The mysterious attacker was none other than Dr. Pierce.
“What kind of Zoid is that?” Fen wondered aloud. He believed it would be simple enough to take down, for it was a smaller Zoid and didn’t appear to have much weaponry. Fen shot at the Ray Kong with the shock cannons. Ray Kong jumped to the side of the canyon and proceeded to evade Fen’s futile attempts to shoot it down quickly. Fen didn’t realize that the Ray Kong had the advantage in this terrain. The Ray Kong dodges yet another round from the Liger and the distance between the two Zoids has shortened greatly. The Ray Kong leaps from the side of the canyon and prepares to give the Liger Zero X a punch it will never forget. Fen sees an opening and extends to blades upwards towards the Ray Kong. Pierce was able to dodge the strike and proceeds with the punch. The Ray Kong goes right through the Liger. Pierce realizes that it was a projection only to find himself on the receiving end of a strike lazer claw.
“You little punk! You destroyed my Ray Kong,” Pierce roared.
“You started it. Now get out of here before I do some real damage you old fart,” Fen threatened. Pierce departed the canyon, leaving Fen to continue on his journey. Pierce left behind the Energy Liger for Fen to find. Fen was awestruck by what was supposed to be the ultimate Zoid. Although it was in no shape to move let alone battle with, Fen decided to keep it. He went back to Red City rather embarrassed after having just started his journey and hired a gustav driver to transport the Energy Liger for him. *Flashback ends*
“Well Energy Liger you’re about to live again, and X you’re about to gain a whole new view on life,” Fen announced to himself.
End of the 4th chapter, I really hope you like it. So the Liger Zero X wasn’t a permanent Zoid. I guess I was getting tired of writing fight scenes with the Liger Zero X. Well any Zoid you want featured in this Fanfic just tell me. I mean to be given suggestions is great especially since I’m not all that good at this. Even though it’s my fanfic I kept Blake and Luke as just friends. I don’t write yaoi (for those who don’t know male/male relationships). I’ve said it before I’ll say it again I’m a total noob at this.
I guess Chapter 4 was pretty short, but not to worry Chapter 5 will make up for it. Ladies and Gentleman I present Chapter 5.
Chapter 5
While Fen works hard on the Energy Liger, R.D. and Blake train harder to beat Fen, and the news of Fen’s arrival and battles travel throughout Blue City, something is going on in Red City. The Peacekeeping bureau board members have a meeting. The chief of Red City’s Peacekeeping Bureau, Jake, was a good man. Jake was a man of normal stature, yet he was able to tower over people with the aura of a demon. He would attempt to do kind acts for others, but the problem was that he had a face that could make children cry with one glance. Many feared him but the people who knew him well, understood his kind nature.
“So what was this meeting for exactly?” Jake questioned.
“Well as you already know we have confiscated the Matrix Dragon after it had inflicted a great amount of damage to the Southern part of the city,” a board member answered.
“Not to mention my Blade Liger…” Jake muttered under his breath.
“After much study on the Matrix Dragon we have decided to make it part of the P.K.B.” the board member continued.
“What? You mean to say our P.K.B. isn’t strong enough already? We have to steal some criminal’s zoid in order to enforce the law?” Jake angrily demanded.
“Well Jake, the P.K.B. was rather ineffective in stopping it, so yes we are going to use the Matrix Dragon. In fact we were hoping you would be one of the pilots for it,” the board member answered.
“Just give me a new Blade Liger and I’ll be fine. I don’t need he Matrix Dragon,” Jake argued.
“Then now you are ordered to be pilot for the Matrix Dragon. You do not have a choice in the matter. Also now that you are a pilot for the Matrix Dragon you will now be part of a special task force above the P.K.B., which means you are no longer the chief. The other three pilots have already been chosen,” the mayor of Red City replied.
“What? I’m not the chief anymore? Who’s gonna take my place? Who are these other pilots?” Jake inquired.
“You are not fired, think of this as a promotion. As for who is going to take your place it is of no concern to you. The other pilots are Roger, Sarah, and Gilbert, they come from Blue City. They have skill as pilots. You four shall start your training with the Matrix Dragon tomorrow, and please Jake do get along with the three, after all you will be teammates,” the mayor responded. Jake reluctantly went home and wondered who his new teammates would be like.
The next day came all too soon for Jake as he went to the training facility. He entered the room he was told to go to only to find he was the last to arrive.
“Hi I’m Jake. Nice to meet you all. I heard you’re all good pilots. I hope we work well together,” said Jake.
“I’m Roger. I’m Gilbert. I’m Sarah.” All replied at once.
“I am Dr. Haka. I will be providing technical assistance for this project and if you have any questions about Zoids feel free to ask,” Dr. Haka told the rest.
The four then go on to the hangar to get into their new Zoids.
“ Wait I thought we were going to pilot the Matrix Dragon. Where is it? I only see four red puny Zoids,” Roger asked.
“Well these four ‘puny Zoids’ as you call them are the Fuzors to the Matrix Dragon. We repainted them to fit the color of our fair city. You need to become accustomed to the individual Zoids first before you start with the Matrix Dragon. You need to walk before you run. The one on the left, the Leoblaze, is yours Jake. The one next to it, the Unenlagia, is yours Roger. The one next to the Unenlagia, the Mosasledge, is yours Gilbert. Last but not least, the Nightiwse, goes to you Sarah,” Dr. Haka explained. The four go into their Zoids and went to the training ground. The four ahd some adjusting to do but eventually became adept with their individual Zoids. Now that they could use their own Zoids skillfully they were now to train using the Matrix Dragon. Jake was given the role of the leader because of his experience as chief. Roger didn’t take it too well; however, eventually came to respect Jake as leader. They finished their training with flying colors.
The mayor for a private meeting requested them.
“What is it mayor,” Jake asked.
“You have done well in your training with the Matrix Dragon, the problem is I would like to see the fruit of your labor in real combat. So you shall take on the strongest Zi-fighters Red City has to offer. If you do not beat them you are not fit to be pilots of the Matrix Dragon,” mayor proclaimed.
“Pfft… No problem we ca take on anyone here in Red City. But I really wanna take on R.D. back in Red City. Sarah, Gilbert you with me?” Roger boldly stated. Sarah and Gilber nodded in agreement leaving Jake to wonder why they would want to take on the legendary R.D. any time soon.
“You shall get your chance soon enough, but only after you beat the Zi-fighters here,” the mayor answered. The four went out the door and to go on to become champions of the Red City battle circuit. Fen finishes restoring the Energy Liger while at the same time R.D. and Blake finish their training for the day.
Return of the big bad Matrix Dragon. i made it red because I wanted to make it a reference to the red Matrix Dragon contest prize. If you haven't figured it out already I like references. New characters and old in this exiting (I really hope) fanfic. Criticism is always welcome. So far though I haven’t been given much criticism other than the first two posts, so I guess I’m doing well… or just not many people are reading the fanfic. “Suit yourself, just don’t go crying home to mommy when I beat you,” jeered Blake. Fen ran to the right of the Gairyuki. Blake shot at Fen with his beam vulcans, but Fen was able to evade them. Fen then stopped running around altogether, and just froze in place. Blake took this chance to use his Ray-absorbing Charged particle cannon. Fen charged his electron drivers. The Blake unleashed a beam of destruction on the liger, but it still wouldn’t move. The beam connected with the Zoid before it could counter with the electron drivers. The smoke cleared to reveal the Zoid disappeared.
“Things aren’t always as they seem, Blake. The Liger Zero X can project an image of itself and has optical camouflage. I can’t believe you fell for that. It’s the oldest trick in the book!” Fen taunted. Fen revealed that he was charging his electron drivers to the left of the Gairyuki, and released his own beam of destruction. His connected with Gekkou’s shield and Hien bombarded the Liger Zero X. Fen put up a shield and started running towards the Gairyuki. He rammed right into the lightly armored Zoid and took Blake by surprise; however, he wouldn’t go down that easy. Hien and Gekkou returned to the Gairyuki and Blake bared the Zoids fangs at Fen. Fen wasn’t impressed, so he extended his blades and charged Blake with hopes of beating him with this last move. Blake anticipated another melee attack from Fen and jumped high in order to dodge the attack and then to come back down and smash the Liger. The Gairyuki dropped down right on top of the Liger. Fen smirked and it is revealed he pointed the blades upwards to impale the Gairyuki showing he was two steps ahead of Blake the entire time, but he showed restraint and only scratched the bottom so as not to harm the Zoid too much. Blake realized Fen had won the fight right there and reluctantly admitted defeat.
“Good game Blake. I thought I was going to lose for a minute there when your one Zoid became three. I wasn’t expecting that,” Fen admitted. Blake simply grumbled and left the arena. Fen left the arena and went back his home, a large garage. In that garage stood another liger… the energy liger.
Why does Fen have that Zoid? This question and more will be answered in the next chapter of Zoids Fuzors the Next generation.
I hope this was better than the first two. Please do give me constructive criticism. Yeah Blake's new team name is kind of lame but i wanted it to be a reference to his zoid the gairyuki (shining victory dragon) and a throwback to Savage hammer. Now i don't think the names dragon hammer or shining hammer are better. If you have a better name than what I cam up with, please share it because if I agree its better I will change it (lots of things are better than victory hammer). If you don't like the "narrator" at the end it will cease to exist.
Chapter 4
Fen stares intently at the Energy Liger and begins to remember the day he got it. *Cue flashback*
Traversing the desert with his sights set on Blue City. Fen starts his journey. His eyes full of hope to become an even greater Zi-fighter, he travels onwards into a canyon pass. Suddenly another Zoid is picked up the radar. Fen quickly reacts and puts up his shield in time to block some missiles.
“Oh looks like you won’t go down that easy,” a mysterious voice snorted.
“What was that for? I didn’t do anything to you,” Fen angrily inquired.
“Oh it is just your bad luck to have come across me. I’m in a bad mood and I need some sucker to take my anger out on,” the mysterious voice replied.
“Come out in the open and I’ll take you on,” Fen shouted.
“Alright then you asked for it,” the mysterious voiced answered. Ray Kong enters the scene. The mysterious attacker was none other than Dr. Pierce.
“What kind of Zoid is that?” Fen wondered aloud. He believed it would be simple enough to take down, for it was a smaller Zoid and didn’t appear to have much weaponry. Fen shot at the Ray Kong with the shock cannons. Ray Kong jumped to the side of the canyon and proceeded to evade Fen’s futile attempts to shoot it down quickly. Fen didn’t realize that the Ray Kong had the advantage in this terrain. The Ray Kong dodges yet another round from the Liger and the distance between the two Zoids has shortened greatly. The Ray Kong leaps from the side of the canyon and prepares to give the Liger Zero X a punch it will never forget. Fen sees an opening and extends to blades upwards towards the Ray Kong. Pierce was able to dodge the strike and proceeds with the punch. The Ray Kong goes right through the Liger. Pierce realizes that it was a projection only to find himself on the receiving end of a strike lazer claw.
“You little punk! You destroyed my Ray Kong,” Pierce roared.
“You started it. Now get out of here before I do some real damage you old fart,” Fen threatened. Pierce departed the canyon, leaving Fen to continue on his journey. Pierce left behind the Energy Liger for Fen to find. Fen was awestruck by what was supposed to be the ultimate Zoid. Although it was in no shape to move let alone battle with, Fen decided to keep it. He went back to Red City rather embarrassed after having just started his journey and hired a gustav driver to transport the Energy Liger for him. *Flashback ends*
“Well Energy Liger you’re about to live again, and X you’re about to gain a whole new view on life,” Fen announced to himself.
End of the 4th chapter, I really hope you like it. So the Liger Zero X wasn’t a permanent Zoid. I guess I was getting tired of writing fight scenes with the Liger Zero X. Well any Zoid you want featured in this Fanfic just tell me. I mean to be given suggestions is great especially since I’m not all that good at this. Even though it’s my fanfic I kept Blake and Luke as just friends. I don’t write yaoi (for those who don’t know male/male relationships). I’ve said it before I’ll say it again I’m a total noob at this.
I guess Chapter 4 was pretty short, but not to worry Chapter 5 will make up for it. Ladies and Gentleman I present Chapter 5.
Chapter 5
While Fen works hard on the Energy Liger, R.D. and Blake train harder to beat Fen, and the news of Fen’s arrival and battles travel throughout Blue City, something is going on in Red City. The Peacekeeping bureau board members have a meeting. The chief of Red City’s Peacekeeping Bureau, Jake, was a good man. Jake was a man of normal stature, yet he was able to tower over people with the aura of a demon. He would attempt to do kind acts for others, but the problem was that he had a face that could make children cry with one glance. Many feared him but the people who knew him well, understood his kind nature.
“So what was this meeting for exactly?” Jake questioned.
“Well as you already know we have confiscated the Matrix Dragon after it had inflicted a great amount of damage to the Southern part of the city,” a board member answered.
“Not to mention my Blade Liger…” Jake muttered under his breath.
“After much study on the Matrix Dragon we have decided to make it part of the P.K.B.” the board member continued.
“What? You mean to say our P.K.B. isn’t strong enough already? We have to steal some criminal’s zoid in order to enforce the law?” Jake angrily demanded.
“Well Jake, the P.K.B. was rather ineffective in stopping it, so yes we are going to use the Matrix Dragon. In fact we were hoping you would be one of the pilots for it,” the board member answered.
“Just give me a new Blade Liger and I’ll be fine. I don’t need he Matrix Dragon,” Jake argued.
“Then now you are ordered to be pilot for the Matrix Dragon. You do not have a choice in the matter. Also now that you are a pilot for the Matrix Dragon you will now be part of a special task force above the P.K.B., which means you are no longer the chief. The other three pilots have already been chosen,” the mayor of Red City replied.
“What? I’m not the chief anymore? Who’s gonna take my place? Who are these other pilots?” Jake inquired.
“You are not fired, think of this as a promotion. As for who is going to take your place it is of no concern to you. The other pilots are Roger, Sarah, and Gilbert, they come from Blue City. They have skill as pilots. You four shall start your training with the Matrix Dragon tomorrow, and please Jake do get along with the three, after all you will be teammates,” the mayor responded. Jake reluctantly went home and wondered who his new teammates would be like.
The next day came all too soon for Jake as he went to the training facility. He entered the room he was told to go to only to find he was the last to arrive.
“Hi I’m Jake. Nice to meet you all. I heard you’re all good pilots. I hope we work well together,” said Jake.
“I’m Roger. I’m Gilbert. I’m Sarah.” All replied at once.
“I am Dr. Haka. I will be providing technical assistance for this project and if you have any questions about Zoids feel free to ask,” Dr. Haka told the rest.
The four then go on to the hangar to get into their new Zoids.
“ Wait I thought we were going to pilot the Matrix Dragon. Where is it? I only see four red puny Zoids,” Roger asked.
“Well these four ‘puny Zoids’ as you call them are the Fuzors to the Matrix Dragon. We repainted them to fit the color of our fair city. You need to become accustomed to the individual Zoids first before you start with the Matrix Dragon. You need to walk before you run. The one on the left, the Leoblaze, is yours Jake. The one next to it, the Unenlagia, is yours Roger. The one next to the Unenlagia, the Mosasledge, is yours Gilbert. Last but not least, the Nightiwse, goes to you Sarah,” Dr. Haka explained. The four go into their Zoids and went to the training ground. The four ahd some adjusting to do but eventually became adept with their individual Zoids. Now that they could use their own Zoids skillfully they were now to train using the Matrix Dragon. Jake was given the role of the leader because of his experience as chief. Roger didn’t take it too well; however, eventually came to respect Jake as leader. They finished their training with flying colors.
The mayor for a private meeting requested them.
“What is it mayor,” Jake asked.
“You have done well in your training with the Matrix Dragon, the problem is I would like to see the fruit of your labor in real combat. So you shall take on the strongest Zi-fighters Red City has to offer. If you do not beat them you are not fit to be pilots of the Matrix Dragon,” mayor proclaimed.
“Pfft… No problem we ca take on anyone here in Red City. But I really wanna take on R.D. back in Red City. Sarah, Gilbert you with me?” Roger boldly stated. Sarah and Gilber nodded in agreement leaving Jake to wonder why they would want to take on the legendary R.D. any time soon.
“You shall get your chance soon enough, but only after you beat the Zi-fighters here,” the mayor answered. The four went out the door and to go on to become champions of the Red City battle circuit. Fen finishes restoring the Energy Liger while at the same time R.D. and Blake finish their training for the day.
Return of the big bad Matrix Dragon. i made it red because I wanted to make it a reference to the red Matrix Dragon contest prize. If you haven't figured it out already I like references. New characters and old in this exiting (I really hope) fanfic. Criticism is always welcome. So far though I haven’t been given much criticism other than the first two posts, so I guess I’m doing well… or just not many people are reading the fanfic. Either way I just hope my fanfic is of some entertaining value, by the way I think it's the second one. I'm still a noob at this and proud of it (not really).
