I wonder if there is a story behind the partial remodel? It seems like an odd step, really, but I don't mind the design for the most part. Still wonder about the bits hanging out under the fins.... the look bulky and out of place.

I agree with Pheno about the Darknessios. That said, I'd rather have several very good models (Neo Godos, the frogs etc) and a couple of less creative fillers (like Nessy there) than a line full of mediocre models.
And let's not forget that almost every model in Genesis was a remake of something...

Am I the only one that thinks the Plesiosaurus is totally lame? It's just a standard Brachios with a slightly modified head and fins instead of feet. I wouldn't mind it as a LTD or something but having this be part of the first wave of "rebirth" Zoids just feels lazy to me. Yeah I agree with Pheno. I haven't been around much, I know. I've been dealing with moving and school and Smash Bros Brawl and other things. I dunno if I'll buy any of these. I don't excatly have the room. I may just stick with HMM as you get "More bang for you buck".

i for one agree with pheno, it is rediculous how lame it is, i mean come on all they did was remove the feet from the brachios and placed fins instead.

Different head, too.
All you people ragging on it, remember Genesis had a lot of stick a few bits on-style "new" designs, and all of the early NJR was straight up reissues. And then we got a couple new designs and one "new head and leggy bits" mod of an old design. You know, Blade Liger ;p.
So it was more drastic a mod than this thing is - the Plesio is also more of a mod than the Irvinewolf.

I don't mind the Precios; it is nice to see a manga-custom become an actual model. But I probably won't buy it unless it is actually h20-compatible.
TwoGodos looks interesting; as some have already said, mouth looks a bit wonky, but I love the color scheme and what appears to be a nice marriage of flexibility and motorization.

I'm confused, if it's RCZ Dosgodos, why does it have RMZ stickers? pointless nostalgia? Either way very cool zoids. Snowflake still wants

I'm confused, if it's RCZ Dosgodos, why does it have RMZ stickers? pointless nostalgia? If nostalgia is the point of the line... it isn't pointless. Also, if it causes 10,000 grown-up Zoid collectors to buy the model... POINT! ;D

Er, I mean, it's pointless because that's not an RMZ Godos, and can't pass for one either

Doesn't mean it can't go for Nostalgia Points. Remakes of classic designs happen all the time - including mechanicaltastic things like cars.

/nods to Tilly......
Dodge Charger? Ford Mustang? Heck, even the PT Cruiser is a nostalgia-mobile. I don't mind that they are doing a re-design, but I'm curious as to the new battle story (did they set back the clock or are they showing the continuing evolution of Zi?)
I wonder what they would do with a redesigned Gojulas? (and don't tell me Giga! That's a new design, not a redesign!)

*Cough* Don't forget ALL the HMM zoids are redesigns.

I understand nostalgia, giving it the same number as the old form would be an example of that, but clearly they've given it a different one, and included the old stickers for no reason.. old insignias I get, but stickers with a designation that it doesn't actualy have? I guess I don't get why you'd want that

The designation is the model number in terms of selling it, the stickers are for in-universe? That's what I'm guessin', anyway. The HMMs do something similar.
