In the aftermath of the fusillade attack on the republic capitol of Stillwater the republic was broken down into nothing more then a rebel faction. The destructive power of the fusillade lead most of the remaining republic force to surrender or defect some of the empires solders amazed at what the emperor could do to a civilian city left the military. The awesome power of the fusillade won the war for the empire and was then stationed near the imperial capitol.
A menacing shape approaches the northern coast. It moves unseen and unheard it watches as the town begins to awaken the fishing fleet heads out. It waits for the macurtis to move into missile range it rises to the surface a bright red squid about 230 meters long tentacle to caudal fin rises from the depths and a plume of missiles flies from it striking its targets destroying every vessel in the fishing fleet. As the town watches there men’s zoids turn into smoking heaps the squid starts to move towards the macurtis its tentacles pulling them towards the massive beak as it rips out there cores. One by one the macurtis are converted into raw material. The imperial base commander seeing the destruction dispatches his fleet of sledge heads. The pilots being veterans of the war have stopped large zoids before they all go in feeling confident they approach at high speeds. Torpedo tube open and ready they get into range and fire. Thirteen sledge heads in semicircle formation unload full arsenals on there oversized opponent. As the shots hit there mark the squid gives out a earsplitting scream it submerges to face its attackers a single point on the beak begins to glow suddenly a flash and all thirteen sledge heads stop function. The squadron leader orders bailout as the squid raps its tentacles around his zoid pulling it towards the beak. On his way to the surface he spots the ID numbers FS 134 below that is wrote Kraken.
Later that day a red horn arrives in town it is mistaken for the imperial support. It has been fitted with amphibious assault units so he agrees to help. Later that day the real imperial support arrives a flight of seven redlers equipped with anti-sub weapons and a fleet of 30 wardicks lead by a Seismosaurus outfitted with amphibious assault and long range Heavy Shell Cannons. The Kraken makes another appearance in the morning coming closer to land this time. It opens a cargo door and thirteen strange frog like zoids emerge heading for land the wardicks cut them down quickly but also give away there position. The squid is on top of them in seconds it speed is unbelievable it opens all torpedo tube and fires thirty torpedoes at once the surprise attacks effect is felt the battle group leader starts calling for back up the redlers swoop in for the attack run the squid dives anti air lasers fly from the waters surface.
(He’s not to deep lest hit’em hard!) says the squadron leader.
All depth charges drop the surface of the water pluses then explodes in the spray the squid surfaces. With heavy damage it fires a sphere into the air and turn to run. The seismosaurus prepares a HSC for fire the redlers line up for a torpedo attack as they draw close to the sphere lasers fire hitting there mark bringing the redlers down. The Seismosaurus fires but the shot is intercepted by the sphere the squid continues out to sea the red horn gives pursuit walking on the seabed thanks to the dive kit it can just barely keep the squid in radar range. A fast moving target is spotted on radar from the direction of the Kraken. A eel like zoid appears on screen the red horn opens fire with aqua jet missiles the eel avoids them and launches a ray beam cutting the red horn in half the pilot ejects the eel turn and returns the way it came. The pilot is picked up by a rescue boat and reports what happened. The day after the pilots return a woman with a command wolf arrive looking for a man by the name Jason Klurtz he stole a amphibious red horn from the empire and was to be arrested. The base commander cooperates and hands Jason over to the woman. They head to the research base to the south after hearing what happened to the red horn he gets conscripted in to the imperial army as a test pilot for submarine combat.
