I can see wheels on the ples; see the gun systems hanging under the forward fins? They have wheels on the bottoms. I don't mind too much (Sinker has wheels) but they should be far less obvious. I don't care if it floats, either... I doubt ples' were surface animals.

As far as I can tell, the Plesiosaurus one seems to be a model version of one of the new design sketches. The drawing is labeled "Futabasuzukiryu", which is a species of plesiosaur (also called Futabasaurus). The model, however, seems to be called "Plesiosaurus" wherever it appears.

Motors!!! YES!!!!
When I saw the sketches of Neo Godos, I thought hmm, I got a spare Godos around... *cackle* As much as I like that proto, I'm a little skeptical of the walkability of those legs, so maybe I should do it. Wouldn't be too hard.
I really like the idea of revamping the old designs with new parts, particularly if they make them motorized, just like God intended (before He sobered up).
As for the Ples, that's a leetle too customy for me, ie. too much "I can do that tonight after i get home (provided I can find my stashed unbuilt Brachios)". Wheels, don't mind too much, but I agree those are too obvious. I am surprised at the lack of floats, but hey; Brach's got a lot of empty space in the chassis, wouldn't be too hard to put some air voids in there and seal 'em. Or styro chunks. It doesn't take much. If you've ever accidentally dropped a HI motor in the toilet, or intentionally, you know they float pretty well on their own. it's also possible that there are removeable floats. It's also possible the wheels may be designed to be removed. And anything gets removed with a little razor-saw action.

If you look, there are pegs, holes too big for it to be just poseable. It's dual-type. Poseable, or, if you swap in the motor, motorized. >>

I find it interesting the way classic Zoid designs get updated. The Neo-Godos looks more formidable than it's ancestor Godos. It makes me wonder how easy it would be to update old-school Gojulas in a similar manner.
(From what we've seen of some of the Rebirth Century concept pictures, the Neo-Gojulas would be skating around on wheels)

\ (From what we've seen of some of the Rebirth Century concept pictures, the Neo-Gojulas would be skating around on wheels) i pray for it not to be the case. since that zoid loses a bit of the animal (real or fictional) it represents, in terms of aesthetics, appeal and, locomotion. i mean if dinosaurs were fond of BMX too, then zoids would have this feature, right? ;D i just think TT is going the Hasbro way in terms of revitalizing a long standing favorite. and that's my 2 cents.

well i grew up with BW... i was talking about hasbro in terms of armada. but this is going off-topic hey! ;D ZOIDS! ZOIDS! ZOIDS! for the rest of us not interested in wheely gimmickry, there is always the re-issues, and those models still utilizing a motorized walking system and articulated models.
