An acquaintance of mine once mentioned that he had a "silver and black pegasus Zoid" - I showed him a pic of Evil Peg and he identified it as the kit he'd once owned, which his grandmother had found at a yard sale for a dollar. When I asked this acquaintance of mine what happened to the Peg, he responded rather sheepishly that he'd gone through an "I'm an adult, I don't need kids' toys anymore" phase when he was thirteen or so and thrown it into the trash. Needless to say, there was much flailing and dying on my part. Aardy I can feel that pain as well, which I think should be no reason at all to throw away toys that are in good condition, it may be okay to throw away toys that have been severely damaged. I personally want to keep my toy collection as good as possible (no MIB necessary!!!), not to sell it in the future, but to remind me the memory of joys that I have when I got the toy, and maybe, just maybe, shared it with my kids.

Flailing and dying feeling? I've felt that way before... because I threw away all my old Zoids when I was in my teens, and now I miss them. As with all of the horses, the 2 rods that connect the wings to the body are very prone to breaking in half. Be very careful with them, because if I remember correctly, some of them are molded to the point that they are slightly warped when you get them. This I think, plays a part as to why they snap so frequently. Almost all of the built Orudii that I've seen on YJ, tend to come with broken wing connector rods..

Great Buster is indeed correct for the "lances", and they're guns - I would think energy weapons, given the fluff text mentions the wings collecting electromagnetic energy to blast out of them or some such.

I did goto the attic and retrive that grade up bar, thanks all for noticing, I missed it. It was not a hard build. The horn had to be forced a bit, and I feared it would break. The power Mantis www.zoid.us/powermantis.htm I just built was harder. The peg is an awesome kit, I highly suggest you get one. I paid far below the norm for it, but after building the kit, I would pay the current price.

Great review on the Peg, Wikd. I would love to be able to add one of these to my collection someday(prefer him to Orudious), but at the prices they go for I don't see it happening Also, the PM review on your site was quite interesting. Really trick build and design. I agree, it's nice regular people can now afford these. Although, I bet those Japanese collectors that paid insane prices several months ago are pretty steamed.

How often do you think happens with the Orudios/Evil Pegasus, and do you think other materials could be used to replace it? I just got mine earlier today, and I have to say the colors makes it a sharp contrast to Orudios. I came back to the U.S. in 1996, a year after Techno Zoids ended, just missed the train a little. But I have to agree the sticker sheet sucks, why they didn't do a new one? Oh well, now I just have to be patience and lucky to find an Orudios, and a new place for myself to build and display my collections of all things. To owners of Orudios/Evil Pegasus, do you have any problems with you kit, the same as Stormhawk described?

See, what's gonna happen is I'm gonna say to myself is: "Hey, there cheap on ebay right now, I'll just buy the things I really want first." then what's gonna happen is there all going to disappear, and I'm going to dig a hole and burry myself under several tons of molten rock.
